Call of Cthulhu is a classic role-playing game of mystery and horror in which ordinary people are confronted by the terrifying and alien forces of the Cthulhu Mythos. We are playing Pulp Cthulhu 7th Edition.
My role as the game moderator is known as the Keeper of Arcane Lore (“Keeper” for short). Your role as players are the the Heroes of the story, which are to confront villainous cults, alien horrors, and outlandish monsters.
We are have started to play through the Popular and exciting Pulp Cthulhu Campaign, Two Headed Serpent! This Campaign can take several months to complete, at about three hours each session.
The Campaign began in the country of Bolivia in the 1930’s, and will be traveling around the globe to investigate, and confront the Cthulhu Mythos.

Hello all! Thanks for all the support on this project! I was quite surprised on how well recieved it was!
Here is what has been recently added:
When you clone the repo, you will notice there is an additional script (proxy-setup.sh).
Once you run the script, it will prompt you to select NPM or Caddy to install.
If you choose NPM, it will create a docker-compose file, and ask if you want to start the container.
If you choose Caddy, it will install Caddy. It will then ask the auth root domain (auth.example.com), then create the base template Caddyfile.
All you have to do is edit the caddyfile, to add your service domain (service.example.com), and add the location of the service (EX: localhost:8080 OR IP:PORT if not a local service).
You can then just follow the pre-setup Caddyfile to add more services.
In the future, I will simply add any reverse proxy setups/configs to that script. Keeping it simple.
Thats it! Detailed instructions on how to use the new script, and the whole process, is on the github page. This is the short and sweet version. I have plans on including a demo/guide video, as well as adding additional proxies. I am just working one at a time, as I do not have much experience with raw nginx and traefik, so I am learning as I am going!
As always, please let me know what you'd like to see! I would like to see if I can create a small documentation site on github, so the README file on the github page isn't too long and hard to read.

"What are you doing, Hedin-sama?!"
She quickly casted “high-speed healing" on her burnt body and knocked away a lightning bolt with her staff before glaring at the person in front of her.
"Are you insane, targeting us, your allies?!"
As if expressing her anger, Heith’s long, light red hair, that had lost its hairpin, rippled. On the other hand, Hedin, who had fired off all seventy-eight of his magic bullets in one go, calmly answered.
"Of course I am sane. There's no way I could make a mistake with my aim.
"…?!”
"By my own judgment, I have decided to annihilate you all."
As if proving his words, new magical power rose from the magic circle at his feet.
There was no hint of madness in his coral red eyes behind those glasses. It was the same sage-like gaze that Heith knew so well. He proceeded with his "brutality" in a calm manner.
The girl’s fist trembled as hundreds of white lightning orbs floated in the air, aiming at her once more.
"Are you seriously saying that you, the loyal retainer, would betray Freya-sama?! Even if the whole world turned against us, I truly believed that you and the captain would always protect her!"
"Do not measure me by your arbitrary standards, fool. It makes me sick."
Hedin responded to Heith's passionate cry, with a tone of utter disdain.
"Besides, I have no intention of ensnaring Freya-sama in some scheme."
"What…!?"
"I'm saying that I am committing this crime for the sake of my 'loyalty.'"
He soon rephrased himself, in a way that even Heith could understand.
"Just like that woman... Horn."

The name of Heith’s colleague.
She didn't know how Horn thought about her, but Heith had been annoyed by her clumsiness, had looked after her at some times, empathized with her at others, and considered her one of her few "friends"—the name of that "traitor."
"You too… Even you’re saying that?!”
The emotions Heith had felt when she had found out that her friend Horn had betrayed the goddess had revived.
A betrayer just like Horn, who committed the same crime.
When she realized that, Heith threw away her hesitation and accepted the raging fury inside of her.
"Have some shame, traitor! Freya-sama’s divine will is absolute! How dare you speak of loyalty when you defy it?!”
"Discussing with mad believers is tiring and a complete waste of time. ──Just sleep."
The relentless barrage of lightning mercilessly continued.
At this point, only Heith was left standing as a wave of thunder rained down upon her.
"I won't fall to something like this!”
Her body suffered through excruciating damage as she was struck repeatedly, with her skin burning and limbs nearly tearing apart. However, the patterns of light on her skin quickly eliminated all of the injuries to Heith’s body, as if she was never wounded in the first place.
"[Earth Gulleveig]! Even if you are a first-tier adventurer, you can’t kill me!! I am Heith Velvet─ the witch who received the blessing of gold from Freya-sama!”
As a pure, golden magical light emanated from her, Heith was continuously bathed in regenerative magic, endlessly healing her body.
The "Automatic Healing" ability that even the "Crozzo’s Magic Swords” could not defeat. Even though it was the spell of a Level 4 , its effect to withstand Hedin's fierce onslaught of Caelus Hildr was fearsome, and truly exceptional.
“As long as I'm here, the Einherjar and Andhrimnir won't fall! I will protect Freya-sama!"
Heith grew wilder, her fury turning her vision red.
Bathing in countless thunderbolts, with her body shaking, yet despite that, she continued to move forward.
“Silence, you pig.”
"Wha──"
Hedin's face showed clear exasperation, as he spoke.
"I can't kill you? You fool, your "magic" is not eternal, it has a limit.”
Even explaining this felt troublesome.
The annoyance was clear on Hedin’s face as he continued to speak while maintaining the barrage.
"Everyone knows that using magic requires Mind."
Heith’s Mind reserve was superior to that of other healers or mages who were at the same Level.
Her exceptionally high continuous recovery speed, that surpassed even the saint, Amid, was one of the reasons the faction alliance had been cornered.

"Between my Mind and your Mind, which do you think is superior?"

The magic swordsman, who boasted the city's largest Mind reserve, so much so that even the city's strongest mage, Riveria Ljos Alf, had acknowledged it.

“It's clear who will run out of energy first."
The barrage continued to accelerate and intensify.
The raging volley of thunderbolts had surpassed Heith’s healing speed.
She healed, recovered, restored, before continuing to be pierced by lightning strikes and scorched by thunderbolts.
Heith’s golden magic echoed and moaned, her advance halting, and finally, her knees hit the ground.
As Heith was continuously attacked by the electric orbs, amidst the pain, she saw it.
In her fading vision, the beautiful elf looked down on her with a look of contempt.
"Your 'gold” is something that failed to be a goddess, making you inferior to Horn, the daughter of the gods."
Heith’s eyes widened as the elf mercilessly exposed the jealousy Heith had harbored deep in her heart for Horn, before letting out a scream.
"Uaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"
Lightning roared.
Complete devastation ensued.

I used to be able to pay everything in full on each statement and go back to zero before such trying times, but with my wages stagnated at a measly $19.25/hr and rarely making more than $1000 a paycheck every two weeks, it's become incredibly depressing to see one entire check go completely to rent, and the other go to all my bills other costs of living. Anything that's left over usually goes to paying off the card, only to see it go back up near or close to the original balance I had on the statement from the month prior. So much of that is compounded by the increased expenses or autopay on aforementioned bills.
Before extreme inflation and COVID, none of these problems had ever come up.
I'm just at a loss on what to do. There's not a single day that goes by anymore where I'm not worrying about this perpetual cycle. I'd always been warned about getting stuck in these types of issues, but in my case it doesn't seem like it's interest or APR that's killing me, because it only tacks on under $100 in interest charges on monthly statements these days.

I've been having increasing issues with pain and I was wondering if there were any meds that have worked for others. I use Ibuprofen and occasionally tramadol for my Endo and Migraines, but neither does anything for my muscle and joint aches and pains. My pcp thinks I have Fibromyalgia, but it seems strange to me that the tramadol doesn't help at all, because usually tramadol works for fibro at least a bit. I have also tried a dose of gabapentin, and I know it can take a while for the full effects to kick in, but I felt no difference when I took it. Has anyone else experienced something similar and found a medication that helps them? My pain isn't that severe, but has been increasing recently and I really think I need some treatment. It's also worth noting I regularly have abnormal reactions to medications, both over and under sensitivity depending on the drug.

The pre-built arrived Friday and I installed the HDD and RAM and hooked up the monitor and played with it for a couple of days installing Maya, Unreal, and a few games and other apps and just seeing how it performed.
From this I discovered it was running warm (80+ c) when gaming with high graphics settings (easy enough to adjust down). I also learned that the DP cable wasn't carrying a signal (HDMI worked fine) and that the RAM was only running at a frequency of 2133 MHz.
So, foolishly, I tried to mess with the RAM settings in the BIOS and ended up with a black screen. After confirming that I needed to reset the CMOS I had trouble finding motherboard schematics (or even figuring out exactly what motherboard was in the machine) so I called MSI and when the rep. told me that the battery I needed to unseat was under the Graphics Card (so I would need to unseat that to get to the battery) I decided to just take it to Micro Center. The guy there was able to reset the CMOS and adjust my RAM settings in the BIOS so the RAM runs at 3200 MHz (<3 to that Micro Center employee). I haven't tested much with it since then, but the signal is being carried by the DP cable now (not exactly sure how that happened) and in general so far I've been pretty happy with the machine.
About me (as is pertinent):
I'm studying game design and through the program I'm in I have access to Autodesk Maya and Adobe Substance Painter (and various other applications).
I mention it because my goal is for this PC to be able to handle having Maya and the Unreal Editor open at the same time; I want to be able to adjust model geometry and see the effect it will have on the scene in real time (or at least without the delay of application opening and closing times, so the primary source of delay is just how quickly I can correctly re-import the models and make any necessary adjustments within the scene) and also to support the creation of larger or more complex scenes/models, though working with large amounts of geometry may ultimately necessitate exclusive use of either Maya or Unreal.
I have been using this laptop and it mostly handled Maya and Unreal alright, only running out the RAM and crashing when I was calling upon it to do legitimately hard work, but I kinda need a machine to actually do that work rather than crashing so I got this new desktop.
So, what do you think? Will it serve my purpose? Anything I should consider changing?

I'm 21 years old (m) and about 5'11 in height. I used to weigh between 170-175 for a few years until last year. During the pandemic I was extremely depressed and gradually gaining weight without myself really noticing. I've developed stretch marks and I weigh about 200 pounds which is nearly 30 pounds over weight for my frame. I haven't been to the pool in ages until today and I found myself getting anxious about the stretch marks and belly fat i've gradually developed. It made me feel so ashamed and sad because i'm a good looking man but since i've gained 30 pounds it's very noticeable. I've been trying to diet, i'm walking and running but it's been harder to burn belly fat and lose pounds than I thought.
I never thought i'd gain weight in my entire life and now that I have I know exactly what it's like to be constantly self conscious of about ones body and I already have horrible social anxiety. I feel so gross and sad. I guess it's a blessing in disguise because everyone has set backs and I care more about my body than ever now. I don't ever want to feel like this again, I wish it would all go away in an instant but I know I have to grind and try. My goal is to lose 30 pounds in the next 3 months. I gotta say though, dieting is so much harder than it seems, especially when you live in a foodie city like I live in (Austin). I tried to sell modafinil (a prescription drug) online and I signed up with xxx(payment gateway) to collect payment online. I have received three payments on the platform (all three of them no more than $150 each). But their network service provider "Visa" have informed them about the ‘unlawful sale of prescription drugs’, as such, xxx suspended my MID and filed a dispute of $25000 against me.
Please find below the part of the email to get on overview of the matter:
We would further like to highlight that You onboarded on xxx platform by representing that
You were conducting business under the category of “E-commerce”. However, to our shock and
surprise, we were informed by our network service providers “Visa” that You have deviated from the
registered category of your line of business on xxx and were conducting business of ‘unlawful
sale of prescription drugs’. Upon such findings and intimation to xxx, xxx was left with no
option but to suspend Your MID on 20.02.2023. In this regard, please refer to provisions mentioned

I joined a job in December 2021. My boss at that time was the best manager I have ever had. We would talk about things like our hobbies, what we did over the weekend and she would be really open about it. She also invited me to vacations with another team ( I could not join as I had to take leaves a week after that and I could not afford the itinerary they were going for).
Anyways, the working environment wasn’t always ideal but we would still sit together weekly and try to navigate through stuff to make it better. She would also make plans to improve things in the future (tho her plans were delayed by the management).
Anyways, after a few months, she abruptly calls me one day to let me know she is moving to another team. I understand it was her decision and her career and no one owes anyone anything in the corporate world.
As she transitions to this new role, a lot of work gets dumped onto me. I communicate it to my new boss time to time that it is becoming unmanageable.
Now, she messages me over slack after every few weeks randomly, yet would abruptly stop replying altogether. She would ask me how am I doing yet won’t be as open as I am or would stop replying altogether.
Am I stupid to take this personally? I am thinking of switching up to her as well. It sucks because I really used to look up to her and turns out it was just her being a manager and could not give two shits. Lol.

The internet is pretty loud and clear, Ryan Homes isn't the greatest builder (and that would be putting it mildly based on what other folks have said) in terms of building durable and reliable housing. The problem I'm facing though is how bad are they anyway?
With the budget and in the neighborhood(s) I'm interested in, if I don't pick Ryan Homes, I would be picking a used house built in the 60s-80s. I am unfortunately neighborhood locked because I'm taking care of folks with special needs and it's important for them to stay in certain areas to get the care they need.
I could splurge in an extra 50-100k to get a newer and seemingly more well maintained used home. But I can't help but think, this seems like a lot of money to run away from Ryan Homes, towards a home that won't necessarily have its own defects either.
So my question is: Ryan Homes is bad, I know that. But is it so bad that I'm better off buying a substantially older home (that may not be perfect either) versus getting people on my side to monitor my Ryan Home construction and advocate for me?

Twice now I’ve gotten right up to the final stage of interviewing (multiple interviews, flying me out for in-person interviews, glowing feedback, recruiters telling me an offer is likely imminent) only to have employers suddenly change a remote position to an on-site position. One was pre-pandemic and the other just happened. I’ve been fully remote for nearly a decade, and remote roles are not uncommon in my field, so this isn’t limited to any Covid trends. I think this has just been terrible luck, but I wish there was a way to suss this kind of thing out before pouring so much of my limited time into a job opportunity.

Him making me entirely to blame, in the eyes of our kids, whilst they see him as perfect. . Several suicide attempts last year, wrong meds. Being an idiot. Thinking everyone was better without me here. . An ill fated dating attempt with an alcoholic for six long months . Being raped last November, mostly due to my own innocence and stupidity . Health scares this year, still ongoing . Being thrilled I finally got into uni st my advance age, then having to withdraw a few months later due to again bring an idiot and thinking I could do it all . Being put in last chance at work due to burnout . Wondering if boss is suddenly going to sack us all as he's been in south africa this week training new staff . Having to sell nearly everything of any value due to cost of living crisis I have no parents, no friends that aren't just work friends due to not working through marriage. Feel utterly alone and like I just have stopped coping.

So I have long COVID (for the past ~8 months) and a lot has changed in the past month.
Before this, I lived in my own condo and had an arrangement with parents who live 45mins away where they’d bring me food and drive me to appointments.
Because of my disability, I can’t really drive far or do long tasks like cooking and grocery shopping anymore with chronic fatigue and post exertional malaise. Like I can over-exert myself and try to do these things for myself but I might incapacitate myself for 1-3 days afterwards where I’d be in bed with all my muscles feeling like jelly.
For context, my mom abused me sexually, verbally, and emotionally, but my sister LOVES our parents and has moved back in.
Onto the changes in the past month. My grandma was found to be terminally ill and I came back to my parents’ place to see her. Like my parents drove me back to live at their place while grandma was having her last days. I won’t lie I didn’t really know my grandma well but figured I’d see her one last time and stuff.
Now that this has all blown over, I’m being held captive here and they won’t drive me back or go back to the previous arrangement anymore and sister is endorsing this, telling them to stop driving and cooking for me if I go back to my condo. So now I’m paying the bills for an empty condo I can’t use and my mental health has not been good since being here with parents for the past month.
Relatives are saying I should just rent out my condo and stay with my parents forever. I don’t want to. I love my condo and the privacy, freedom, and relaxation it gives me. It was my safe space and now I’m constantly getting jump scared awake by people who don’t understand insomnia in the name of “saving face” to people who literally don’t exist because “it looks bad to sleep in so late” which isn’t helping my recovery along with all the stress of being around them and I think I’m going insane.
Should I just KMS lol? Like, I feel useless and because I don’t LOOK disabled, people don’t believe me. Like, what do I even do with this life? I can’t hold down a job anymore bc of the neurological damage and I’m just running down my life savings living an unhappy life with family (especially sister) calling me ungrateful. I have about a year before my mortgage renews and I run out of liquid savings.
I have no friends who could help with the disability stuff so I’m SOL. Is there anything I can say like an excuse I can make to go back to the old arrangement or do I just resign myself to being miserable for the rest of my life until I KMS?

Now that this has all blown over, I’m being held captive here and they won’t drive me back or go back to the previous arrangement anymore and sister is endorsing this, telling them to stop driving and cooking for me if I go back to my condo. So now I’m paying the bills for an empty condo I can’t use and my mental health has not been good since being here with parents for the past month.
Relatives are saying I should just rent out my condo and stay with my parents forever. I don’t want to. I love my condo and the privacy, freedom, and relaxation it gives me. It was my safe space and now I’m constantly getting jump scared awake by people who don’t understand insomnia in the name of “saving face” to people who literally don’t exist because “it looks bad to sleep in so late” which isn’t helping my recovery along with all the stress of being around them and I think I’m going insane.
Should I just KMS lol? Like, I feel useless and because I don’t LOOK disabled, people don’t believe me. Like, what do I even do with this life? I can’t hold down a job anymore bc of the neurological damage and I’m just running down my life savings living an unhappy life with family (especially sister) calling me ungrateful. I have about a year before my mortgage renews and I run out of liquid savings.
I have no friends who could help with the disability stuff so I’m SOL. Is there anything I can say like an excuse I can make to go back to the old arrangement or do I just resign myself to being miserable for the rest of my life until I KMS?
