So after watching the last game theory video about fnaf and it got me finding some errors and missing pieces like the mimic here is something I thought while thinking about it I thought of glitchtrap I think glitchtrap isn’t William’s conscience but the mimic1 program probably the mimic program got corrupted by the glitchtrap virus and the virus showed the mimic program the influence of William Afton showing why the mimic is burntrap in security breach well I can’t keep on typing all about this so there will be a part 2 goodbye

2023.06.09 13:33 AverageFNaFEnjoyer56 Backstory of Blood Sun.
| I made a few posts about him before, and participated in some of GachaClub activities with him and gave him a backstory. After events shown in this post, he tried to find Mary (the girl in first pics) to hug her and calm down, but Mary was lured into The Pizzaplex and killed by Vanny... Since Mary was an orphan and had no brothers/sisters, nobody could report her missing... And now Blood Sun searches for Mary around this whole town, asks strangers if they know where she is, and eventually will find his way to The Pizzaplex and find her dead near The Blob. (Vanny just throws bodies into the abandoned pizzeria so Burntrap, the mimic endo, could gather remnant for his goals.) submitted by AverageFNaFEnjoyer56 to GachaFnaf [link] [comments] |
2023.06.09 06:46 Desperate-Purple-586 The True Ending FNAF SB:Ruin Will Follow
| Game Theory-The True Ending FNAF SB:Ruin Will Follow (sorry for grammar) Many people presume that Ruin will follow the ending where Gregory and Freddy burn Burntrap and the Blob then kidnaps Burntrap. However, I believe this is wrong due too one major thing, the damage to freddy in the recent trailer. If you pause where they show the damages and compare it to the ending cutscene you can see different damages, however this may lead you too thinking, if this ending is not the real one, which one is? I believe the true ending is the "dissemble vanny(i will be calling it the D.V.)" ending. Here are the reasons: 1-The damages to freddy in the DV ending and trailer are close to exactly the same. 2-This ending is the only ending where freddy is intact enough to still function like we see in the trailer and is still in the trailer (the burntrap ending follows this slightly differently however it still fits this rule as in the BT ending freddy is in a TOO good state, this ending also implys gregory AND freddy escape the underground pizzaria however in the trailer gregory stating he was trapped in the underground, however freddy somehow would have had to been able to escape to get into the rubble in fazerblast in the trailer, you know which ending he ends up in fazerblast THE DV ENDING!) Evidence: Freddy Pic In Comic Freddy In Trailer More evidence is the comics which often show where freddy ends up and his state of repair (i dont to overstimulate with like 20 pics) My Theory On How Ruin Will Start: Cut to the DV ending, this time 3d animated like the rest of the game Timeskip Cutscene with small credits as it shows slow moving shots of the ruined pizzaplex as light music plays in background. After the major credits (scot, devs, etc) a quick black screen then it cuts to you playing as cassy and you are tasked with a bit of tutorial stuff like the freddy room in basegame -prediction ends off- submitted by Desperate-Purple-586 to GameTheorists [link] [comments] |

Vanessa: Gregory literally had alarms going off left and right and Vanessa never came once or was mad about the kid she's trying to find is setting off alarms. Hell even the Glamrocks do more than her even when they're shattered they stay looking for this kid
Vanny: Anyone finds it strange how Vanny never appears in the burntrap boss fight like if were putting the whole this is a game that was unfinished out of the way wouldn't Vanny try and help Burntrap or something.

2023.06.08 21:45 AvidSpongebobEnjoyer How the Stitchline Games Answers The Biggest Unsolved Questions
Recently, I started to think about TOYSNHK as well as several ideas relating to books and their ties to the game. When I started to think about these things in conjunction with each other, they started to make a lot more sense. I will make this into points so I can explain them.
- Afton's Immortality
William throughout the games appears to be unkillable. Whether it be fire or springlocks, nothing seemed to knock this man down. My original theory was that agony or some form of remnant was keeping William alive through the suit, but thinking back to
The Man In Room 1280 had me considering an alternative.
Andrew. He is the key to William's immortality. We know that William when in hospital has no family or anyone to turn to, no one came to claim him, meaning he is the only one left, likely meaning that Michael had died in the fire, which I will return to later.
What I find most interesting about Andrew and William, is the signals going on inside William's head. Now we assumed for the longest time that this was parallel to Cassidy and William in UCN. But due to recent implications from
Tales From The Pizzaplex, it's likely the connection goes deeper.
Andrew is the one keeping William alive, and by extension, torturing him in his mind while in hospital. UCN is a direct result of Andrew.
- TOYSNHK is Andrew
Now, I know this idea isn't that popular and will, of course, be contested, but let me plead my case. We know that Andrew had attached himself to William, compared to Cassidy, who remained in the Golden Freddy suit. We also know that TOYSNHK has a connection to Golden Freddy due to UCN. Now this would stop this theory right, here, Andrew has no connection to Golden Freddy.
That would be the case except for one small detail in the books. In
The New Kid, when Devon is getting sucked into the Golden Freddy suit, he doesn't see Kelsey's body, he sees a boy with curly black hair. And what does the spirit who is haunting William look like? The spirit has black curly hair and rosy cheeks.
Now this also brings up another idea, is Andrew the spirit talking to Cassidy in the logbook? Currently, I cannot confirm this, as we don't know what Andrew's story was when William killed him. A kid is seen in the Happiest Day minigame with a green mask, but they're just sitting at a table, there is no party for them.
- Afton Is No More
To explain exactly what I mean, we have to go back to the epilogues. Specifically, when William turns into
The Agony (who the wiki states that it uses they/them, Great Nonbinary rep!)
Before this, Jake saves Andrew from William. William was likely aware for years of Andrew's attachment to him, even before UCN, he recognizes that Andrew's hatred was keeping him alive. And we see in the epilogue, that with the power of the Puppet, Afton is defeated. It's stated that his soul was barely clinging on, seemingly almost entirely powered by Eleanor.
After this, we get no implication that Afton returns in any way. What remains of Charlie and Afton, along with The Agony, drown in the lake. Now where exactly am I going with this?
I fully believe that William Afton is dead. He's not Glitchtrap, he's not Burntrap. William's soul, with nothing keeping him alive, can't cling on any longer, and William finally kicks it. After decades, William is defeated. But this only gives rise to another villain, one whose purpose is to imitate William.
The Mimic1. Afton is gone, but Mimic1 lives on. The program that is used in the Storyteller is the same one used for the Mimic that Edwin had created. They are one in the same. That's why the animatronics become childish and immature, that's what the Mimic had learned from David.
The Mimic1 program had gained its violent behaviors from Edwin, making Monty violent along with it. The Mimic1, through taking in information about Springtrap, and William Afton as a whole, likely associated its already known behaviors and reinforced it. We see Burntrap, first awakening from the recharge station, has his arm curled up, just like David would and subsequently the Mimic went it got its own Tiger. He also does it while walking through the crumbling Pizzaplex, before being taken by the Blob. The Mimic1 also realizes that Freddy is the only part of the Pizzaplex not taken into the program, which is he tries to control Freddy.
Conclusion Including the books in the game's storyline helps us answer so many questions. We always wondered why something didn't fit into place, but it's clear now that most of the time, we usually just don't have the answers.
Let me know what you all think and feel free to point out and discuss what you think. There are of course problems with these theories but overall they feel like the most solid conclusions we've had in a very long time.

2023.06.08 17:29 Placeholder5162 The non-mimic theory [FNaF]
I learnt of this theory on a video detailing character designs so here is my theory. Burntraps design has these veins all around these veins are possibly keeping William alive, now remnant Afton has no organs, this is because Remnant and these veins are keeping him alive. Now I do think William might have the mimic endo but he's not just the mimic he's still Afton. He's just haunting the mimic endo and he probably still has some "Glitchtrap energy" hanging around this was my theory so goodbye.

2023.06.08 16:51 Samhain3 How Burntrap was Made
Something a lot of people (and even myself at one point) have theorized is that Glamrock Bonnie's endoskeleton was taken to rebuild Springtrap/Scraptrap/Glitchtrap/Skeletor as Burntrap (true name pending). This might not be wrong, but it's also not that simple. I went through comparing images of Burntrap to the Glamrock endos as well as images of Springtrap's endo model from FNAF 3 before William's corpse and suit were added. I noticed some similarities, and some differences.
First, let's start with the obvious: the remains of William's suit is obviously Springtrap, not the Scraptrap suit from Pizzeria Simulator. Comparing those two suits makes it pretty obvious that they are two different suits in-universe instead of just a redesign, but we don't know why (my personal theory is that William eventually managed to get the Springtrap suit off so that he wouldn't be forced to follow Balloon Boy's audio cues anymore, but wore the Scraptrap suit because he has a theme. Maybe that's how he lost his left arm?) and it's unlikely we'll find out anytime soon. However, the AR game has an email mentioning customers sighting a "vintage Bonnie model" that gives off an odor and doesn't appear on the Fazbear Funtime Service's systems. Pretty sure that's just there to justify Springtrap's presence in the game, but it could explain how Vanny could rebuild Burntrap with the original suit.
As for Burntrap's endo, it's a composite. Burntrap's forearms and lower legs (his shins) appear to be from the Glamrock endos. Not his feet, though. I've never seen an endoskeleton in the games with feet like that, but it could be a redesign of Springtrap's exposed feet from FNAF 3. They look similar enough. As for upper legs and upper arms, some of it was obvious and others were subtle, but they both come from the original Spring Bonnie endo. If you compare the arms, they have these cylinders with small bars running parallel to the arm between them around the circumference of the arm. I'm fairly convinced that these are the springlocks, or at least where the locks were installed on the suit. Both of Burntrap's upper arms have these, and they don't appear on the Glamrock endo, but Springtrap does have them.
His upper legs are a bit more complicated. The Springtrap model has large wire structures around that area, presumably to hold the compressed endo somehow. But, carefully looking underneath those structures shows an animatronic leg piece similar in appearance to what Burntrap has, but less damaged. I won't swear that they come from Springtrap, but upper Glamrock legs don't look like that and endo-01 and endo-02 don't look like that either.
It's a little hard to see Burntrap's torso under his suit, but what I could see didn't look nearly as much like a Glamrock endo as the internet says it does. The first hint is his shoulders. They are too narrow for a Glamrock endo, which are wide and bulky, presumably so the Glamrock's shoulder pads can fit. Of course, the female Glamrocks might have a different endo, but we never see it and I think the implication that one-endo-fits-all makes more sense for the cheapskate Fazbear Entertainment. Burntrap's shoulders are connected to a metal bar that seems to run through to the other arm as well, which Springtrap has as well. The other visible part of the torso, from under the torn edge of the suit, does resemble the Glamrock endo at first glance, but on closer inspection, appears different. Remember, we get a decent look at that area of a Glamrock endo every time we crawl in Freddy's stomach hatch. The Glamrock endo has wires hanging down from the chest area, and the endo's spine has metal bars on either side running parallel to the spine. Now look at Burntrap's design: He doesn't have any visible hanging wires or those parallel bars on his spine. Instead, he has what looks like a thicker structure with two bolts coming off of it at an angle. What other endo has that particular design? You guessed it: Springtrap!
That being said, I do believe that Burntrap does have a Glamrock animatronic pelvis, and that area of his endo that's visible from under the Springtrap suit piece does look more like the Glamrock endo than the Springtrap endo. If I could get a better look without the pelvis piece of the suit, I'd be able to tell better.
Last but not least, we have Burntrap's claws. I'm....at a loss on explaining those. As said before, those were attributed to Glamrock Bonnie, but the claws don't match. We've seen Monty's claws and they don't look like Burntrap's. Not only that, but Burntrap has five fingers, while Glamrock endos have four. I doubt that Bonnie would be an exception to that. At first I thought that the extra finger on each hand were more pieces of William's body, like his skull and pieces of his spine in the endo's spine, but that only applied to his right hand (check closely, his right thumb and middle finger aren't clawed) and his left hand is fully animatronic.
I don't know how to explain the claws, not because they have no match, but because they do. The only other animatronic series that has claws that look like that are the Nightmare animatronics, also the only endos other than the Funtimes to have five fingers, and Funtime endo hands don't look like Burntrap's hands. I even compared Molten Freddy's hands and Scrap Baby's left hand to Burntrap's, to see if they were a match. None of them were. That's why this is so irritating. Everything in the FNAF games we know about the Nightmares suggests that they are illusions, not real. Either Michael Afton literally had nightmares or those science-breaking illusion discs from the books and possibly Sister Location were a thing in FNAF 4, I'm not sure. The only thing that I can say for sure is that Burntrap's hands don't look as big as the hands on the Nightmare endo and a bit less cartoonish as well. But something had to be the source of those claws, and the Nightmare animatronics are the only source I could find. Maybe Ruin will clarify this for us.
Edit: I found the ArtStation profile of one of the people who modeled Burntrap for Security Breach and according to him, Burntrap's base is from parts modeled for Help Wanted.
TL;DR: I explain why the youtube theorists are mostly wrong about Burntrap and what he's really made of.

2023.06.07 16:30 CMDBey Can Glitchtrap Be a Mimic AI?
So basically, in the last video of game theory matpat talked about mimic, an AI that can copy people. And talked about mimic 1 is a AI copy of Charlie. I saw people saying that Burntrap is a mimic too, but they were not sure how glitchtrap controlled a mimic. When I heard about mimic, an AI that can copy a person, I immediately thought about glitchtrap. It makes more sense for an AI to be in a circuit board rather than Afton when he should have been trapped in his personal hell with Cassidy. And it would also solve the problem about the Burntrap.
I had this in the back of mind for like a month but I wasn't really sure of it, but when I saw the video it was so clear. I know there are not enough evidence to really support this or a parallel in the books so i want to hear your opinions too.

2023.06.07 11:07 thxfrplaying Not Ruin- ReUnIoN
TLDR Gregory was always a villain, Vanessa is NOT an Afton but an Emily, Michael is Freddy, SB was a purposeful set up to free Glitchtrap/William and draw in threats to the Aftons for Ruin, plot of ruin is to "save them", character predictions to complete the "reunion"
All imma say after most recent few vids and new trailers, to try to fill in some community gaps
Gregory is a robot and recreation of Evan, mirrored by the GGY story in the (((books))). Bad news. You play as the villain in Security Breach. The mimic system in SB is run by the influence of Charlie, and upon recognizing Gregory switches into attack mode. After all, it is never explained why they attack you in SB, or what happens to you after you are caught other than the assumed death. They attack because Charlie sees you as an Afton creation and wants to put that to a stop. May also explain why Chica knows your name but nobody else does (Chica is character in Mimic story, very related to Henry, kind of a reach).
Anyway, the only one who breaks free is Freddy, who yes I will suggest is haunted by Michael (recognizes blob souls, and other details in MatPat's video about it). This is why he separates from Charlie's influence, just by nature as he is an Afton, and/or would have been rigged to do so by either Gregory or something else (ex. Burntrap/William/Glitchtrap(?) has this capability in the boss battle, even though it is depicted as an attack, may also be why Freddy gets purpler as you replace parts signifying a break away from the others and closer to the family). This would feed into Freddy's conflicted speech upon seeing the blob, and him being "different", and resistant to William in the end.
I think Gregory had a role in releasing and enabling Afton and was never actually under threat of death except by the Charlie-driven animatronics. After all, there's no Afton jumpscare, you're only killed by the blob or the broken animatronics in the boss fight (again driven by Charlie, though Freddy's possession kill might be a hole in this). I think Gregory was always part of the larger Afton plot, but Gregory actually lost most of his memory somewhere in this process, and therefore can "die" in two different ways in SB- REAL death by Charlie animatronics, or memory death (like a factory reset, but may as well be death to protagonist us) by Afton representatives (hence why Vanny can "kill" you which wouldn't make sense if Gregory was pro-Afton). This also makes sense because Gregory does some things that don't line up with being in with the Aftons, or remembering he is part of the crew, except in the Afton ending, such as disassemble Vanny (also where he overtly exposes Glitchtrap with princess quest). So the Afton ending, probably the cannon one, is the one where Gregory regains his memory of his quest, elaborated below in the William section. Perhaps breaking enough animatronics spurred it.
So kind of tying up the WHY of all this, Ruin is a Reunion. Gregory is there, he stayed because the Afton ending of SB was all part of the plan to lure in (as is the traditional family way) the remaining representatives of the victim souls (Cassy and Charlie as the mimic system opposing the glitchtrap system). Michael is still as Freddy, who is seen broken in the trailer. This could be because (assuming he's been the guard shutting down locations the whole time) he isn't 100% loyal to the cause, or be related to the disassemble ending. This may also be why Freddy can't see Vanny- It's purposeful because they don't quite know what side he's on. Or that could be generally protective to Vanny, as being recognized as under Afton influence by being seen at all could trigger aggression as with Gregory (may partially be why Freddy attacks her with the new eyes, but this also suggests that he should be attacking Gregory too if he's also a direct Afton, though the whole 'new eyes' thing gets really convoluted around Gregory and robot-or-not and/or Afton-or-not).
William's fate is uncertain after being taken by the blob but I think the Burntrap thing was just a red herring. After all, it's all about Glitchtrap now. Perhaps even the boss battle was really to get him into the system, merging with the Mimic through the blob to challenge it directly, hence why Gregory was all part of the plan. Or by some other route Glitchtrap/William exists in whatever that thing at the end of the Ruin trailer is (Glamrock Bonnie is my personal assumption, but that's controversial).
The difficulty is with Vanny and Vanessa. Vanny kind of got dunked on if the disassemble ending is cannon WITH the Afton ending hence Freddy's condition in the Ruin trailer, and her mask was just lying there in the trailer. I think she will return, especially being underutilized in SB, but as an individual trying to indirectly influence Cassy into being infected by Glitchtrap perhaps towards a bad ending (such as by leaving the mask). I believe she did a similar thing when chasing Gregory, supporting the Gregory memory loss theory, where she literally gets him to "see red" with the hallucination kind of effect, and is capable of this kind of thing as he can be influenced by technology being a robot.
Vanessa I do not think is an Afton, her eyes were originally green which I think was only changed so as to not be too heavy handed, and that's a Charlie/good thing. She is also not shown aggression by the animatronics, which would check out with my theory about the related aggression towards Gregory. This would mean the SB good ending was not so much about the reunion of the non corrupted Aftons, but about saving them from the influence of their fatheGlitchtrap/William. Also, if in the new books Henry was a departmental higher up, also evidenced by the FNAF 6 location underneath, that would explain how she was hired by a higher up in those messages. She is related to Henry's side of things, not Afton's. In fact, in the newest theory, SHE could be the guardian mentioned at the end. Hence, the good ending, again, and being shown separate from Vanny in the fire ending and therefore not the same person. I am not 100% certain about either's role in Ruin.
This all also may explain certain scenes and lines in the Ruin trailer, like Roxy not being immediately aggressive to Cassy (not an Afton, therefore not immediately aggressive). However that could also be just a Roxy thing as there's obviously the Monty jumpscare and it wouldn't be a horror game if all of them were friendly. It could be a last stand kind of thing where instead of breaking them like Gregory did, you have to save them even as they are threats. I think Gregory again is just a lure and is a villain (somewhat touched on in MatPat's reaction video), but if Steel Wool pulled that with SB they could do another thing where Cassy is double-double-crossing Gregory and knows that he knows he's a villain and is secretly there not to save him from the pizzaplex but from the influences of his family (don't give up on me yet), and to save the struggling anti-Afton forces, without being corrupted or killed yourself (after all depending on whether or not anyone's a robot there's both physical and digital risk).
So the Aftons are there, the Henry/Charlie/Cassidy/souls whatever are there, it's a Reunion, and especially a family reunion as is the goal of the Aftons bringing everyone together to finish William's legacy which checks out with the secret room. EXCEPT, small problem, Elizabeth, and Mrs. Afton are still in the air. Mrs. Afton has not been pictured except maybe as represented by Ballora, which makes it complicated. Elizabeth has plenty of parallels, especially with Baby/Elizabeth having green eyes, the mask being in the blob, and potential robot recreations eat your heart out. There's also the staff bot parallels. This is why I think a long shot prediction is that we will see surprise characters representing these two in Ruin, assuming they don't already exist and I'm overlooking or dismissing something.
Thoughts or predictions? Sorry if anything is confusing, English is my second language and plus it is fnaf. I can try to explain some things more as well.

2023.06.07 04:18 Personian829 [Theory[ Everything wrong with Game Theory's "I solved Ruin"
Hello! This is a post I decided to write in response to Matpat's newest FNAF theory, "I solved Ruin"
The first half of the video is not that bad. He gets GGY right for the most part. He correctly connected Greg from GGY to Gregory from SB. I do not have much to say regarding that matter. GGY is directly connected to SB, and there is no room for debate regarding that, and the fact that Gregory was under the control of Glitchtrap.
Granted, Matpat says that he was WORKING for Glitchtrap, though the way I see it, Gregory was more of a pawn. I don't think Gregory was himself at all. Security Breach even shows this. I don't think Gregory was lying in SB, he just had no idea what was going on, since for who-knows-how-long he was under the control of Glitchtrap.
We can use Vanny as an example. When Vanny switches back to Vanessa... well, Vanessa does not remember what she did as Vanny. The same could apply to Gregory. Also keep in mind that Gregory was EXTREMELY smart in GGY, saying very psychological statements all the time, which really screams "mimic!" to me.
Gregory obviously was taken over for a while, since he had a little trouble remembering his name in the beginning of Security Breach, meaning SB probably doesn't take place very much longer after Gregory somehow broke out of Glitchtrap's control.
Though I do have a problem with how he worded something, though. Matpat said that Gregory was working for "AFTON" which in itself is not correct. Tales show that "Afton" is no longer here, and that Glitchtrap is simply a mimic1 program developed around 1984.
And regarding Gregory being a robot... unfortunately, I think he kind of has to at this point. Heck, GGY indirectly shows that he likely is a robot.
GGY takes place at least a couple of years before SB. Gregory is 12 during the events of GGY, therefore making him 14-15 by the events of SB. However, he still looks 12 during SB.
Though at the same time, there is a problem with the statement I made: the robots in other books, such as the original novel trilogy, are able to grow like regular humans. So why not Gregory?
To be frank, I don't know. The book does say that Greg looks younger than he really is, so for all we know, he may actually be 14 in SB, but just looks younger. That is very much plausible too.
Matpat does have a point about the occasional Gregbot hints in GGY, though, and the evidence at this point is rather compelling.
Now, onto other things: The Mimic.
Firstly, he went over the story pretty well. One thing I will point out though is that Matpat says that what happened when Edwin beat up the Mimic was that he was essentially injecting Agony into it.
I am personally a bit mixed on that take. I think what happened was that after Edwin beat up the Mimic, it decided to Mimic that, as it had just learned violence. Also noticed how Edwin beat it up. The Mimic kills its victims in a way similar to how Edwin "destroyed" the Mimic. The Mimic kills its victims by tearing up their limbs and mangling them. Very similar to how Edwin beat up the Mimic.
I think more evidence points to the fact that Mimic simply learned violence rather than having to be injected with Agony to start harming people.
Though it could be both, though. Perhaps Mimic learned violence while also being injected with Agony. It could have gone down like that.
Let me be real, Matpat lost me when he began building a parallel between Edwin and Henry.
Sure, many aspects of them are different. But you are capable of having a parallel between two characters without it explicitly being two separate timelines.
For example, Glamrock Freddy seems like an obvious parallel to Michael Afton, though that doesn't mean he IS Michael Afton.
Edwin's dead kid, David, is not parallel to Charlotte. They don't even die the same way.
Charlotte is killed when William Afton murders her outside of a pizzeria. David dies after being hit by a car whilst chasing after his ball.
Sure, both are tragedies, but if we see a little kid get murdered and then a little kid being hit by a car, how do you expect to build parallel's here? They die in a completely different way.
Matpat once again tries to pull a parallel between Henry and Edwin and that Henry began the business back in 1983, and The Storyteller explains that The Mimic happened 40 years before... there is a major problem with this. A big one.
The Storyteller takes place in 2024 because The Mimic happened around 1984.
I know, saying The Storyteller is in 2024 sounds like a bit of a stretch because it does sound like it, because Fnaf 3 was believed to be set in 2023, and it does not make sense for Fnaf 3, Fnaf 6, Fnaf VR, Fnaf AR, and the entire construction of the Pizzaplex to happen in one year.
This does lead me to believe that Fnaf 3 in fact takes place in 2015, but this statement is not what this post is about, so if you want me to make a separate post on that, let me know.
Anyways, Matpat says the "40 years thing" to be a parallel to Henry and that his whole thing happened in 1983 and he came back in 2023... which makes absolutely no sense and is a major contradiction.
The way he explains The Storyteller as a story is weird.
The way he says it, he believes that David (Edwin's dead son, also the person who trained the mimic1 program) got infused into everything, and that is not the case. It's Glitchtrap. The mimic1 program is the same thing as Glitchtrap. Mimic1 is literally the canon name for Glitchtrap, similar to how Mimic is the canon name for Burntrap.
Edwin trying to talk to his son through the weird language David made does not mean David is present. It is a mimic program, not literally David.
Regarding the Charlie thing, sure, Charlie is very clearly present in the Pizzaplex, and I think the Tales story shows that her spirit is haunting the Pizzaplex. However, the mimic1 program is not the same as Charlie haunting the Pizzaplex. Charlie is present in the Pizzaplex, though the mimic1 program also is.
Anyhow, these are the big problems I had with his newest theory. I don't hate Matpat, I think he is a great person, but this theory was really a downhill spiral.

2023.06.06 23:40 Clean-Effort7972 The Afton Family (as we know it)
Okay. I have no idea how much of this is true, this is literally just a thought that came to me after seeing and analysing the Ruin Trailer. Feel free to point stuff out about it, I’d love to listen!
In Security Breach, we have the table with the Staff Bots sat around it, which everyone has assumed to be symbolic of the Aftons. It seems to suggest the Afton Family being rebuilt. But what if I were to tell you, that Ruin is doing just that? I can’t say I like what I’m about to type, but here we go.
GGY has confirmed (pretty much) that Gregory is Patient 46. If we are to believe that Gregory is a robotic version of the Crying Child, then that could clear up a few thing about the trailer. Like how is Gregory still alive ‘down here’? The Pizzaplex is clearly aged by quite a while. There’s graffiti and other signs of vandalism around the building, and various newspapers littering the place. Surely a living child couldn’t survive this long. We also have the new Fazbear Frights stories ‘The Mimic’ and ‘The Storyteller’ which strongly suggest Gregory being an AI or robot of some kind. The code written on the wall in Mike’s secret room in the Pizzaplex is an almost direct correlation to the language that Edwin and David speak to the Mimic 1 programme with.
William Afton was in Security Breach as ‘Burntrap.’ He was abducted by ‘The Blob’ at the end of the ‘Afton Ending’ to the game. So seemingly, that’s him out of the picture. But then we have this new figure. This new glitching rabbit has been widely assumed to be Glitchtrap. There’s not really a lot you can definitely say about this figure that confirms this, except it’s glitching effect. The only two entities or characters that make this sort of effect are Glitchtrap, and Malhare (PQ games, correct this if incorrect). Seeing as Malhare is only ever seen in an arcade game, it wouldn’t make sense for it to then have a physical form like the one seen in the trailer. Glitchtrap, however, gains a physical form as you collect tapes in Help Wanted. So, this would make the most logical sense. Glitchtrap is a digitally uploaded version of Williams conscience scanned into help wanted using some old circuit boards. So, if this rabbit is Glitchtrap, then William is here in some way.
Glamrock Freddy is widely theorised to be Michael Afton. He’s unaffected by being controlled, because Glamrock Freddy is already a vessel for Michael Aftons soul. Mike’s room is also featured in Security Breach. This room so happens to be the place where Patient 46’s (Gregory’s) therapy CDs are played, and where the code mentioned above is found, strengthening the bond between Freddy and Gregory, whom would be Michael and the Crying Child.
Matpat said in his timeline videos that Mrs Afton was running the Fazbear Company after the FNaF 6 fire. You’ll have to forgive me, as it’s late and I can’t remember exactly what he said to support this, but I’m sure most of you have watched that if you’re listening to my rant.
So, where does Elizabeth fit into all of this? Well, my suggestion is Cassie. As crazy as that may sound, just hang on with me. Matpat in another video covering Vanessa and Vanny made the claim that there could be multiple Elizabeth bots, similar to the novels’ Charlie bots, with Vanessa and Vanny both being one of these bots. He also mentioned that there’s no telling just how many of these bots there are in existence. If Cassie was an Elizabeth bot, then this would not only complete our Afton Family rebuild, but also explain a few other things. For example, it would explain why Cassie was drawn to the Pizzaplex. Gregory would be her brother, and he needs her help. Gregory asking Cassie not to give up on him would then be a brother seeking his sister’s help. Another reason Elizabeth would be there was because she knows that that is where William is likely to be. Both William and Elizabeth burned in the FNaF 6 fire. A fire that just so happened to take place in the Pizzeria that the Pizzaplex is built over. So, being the loyal, devoted daughter she is, came searching for her father, and knew exactly where to look.
This would complete our Afton Family rebuild. With Gregory as the Crying Child, Cassie as Elizabeth, Glamrock Freddy as Michael, The Glitching rabbit figure as William, and Mrs Afton the owner of the Fazbear Company, everyone is there. Again, feel free to pick at this, it’s late and idk what I’m doing at this point. Thanks for sticking around if you did!

2023.06.06 22:25 wosxaa Theory on RUIN and Matpat
Gregory is the Crying Child. Mrs Afton runs the place. William is Burntrap or potentially this fuckin rabbit thing. Michael is potentially Glamrock Freddy. Elizabeth? What if Cassie is Elizabeth? The 'Dont give up on me yet' line would still make sense. Its a brother looking to his sister for help

2023.06.06 14:45 monarchofrymden Security Breach Mod Idea - Story Overhaul
Hey, I'm new to a lot of programming stuff but I've got this idea that's going to nag at me if I don't try to do something with it.
I would like to attempt a storyline overhaul of Security Breach: removing the reliance on Afton/Burntrap and mind control and such; adding in actual motivations and logical reasoning for Gregory's distrust of Vanessa at the start of the game and of Glamrock Freddy believing him. To summarise the idea, I'd be characterising Vannessa/Vanny as a copycat killer obsessed with and wanting to replicate Afton's murders. Afton himself is dead dead, but Vanny's idolisation of him leads her to drag around the remains found below the Pizzaplex and even talk to him as if he was alive.
I have the game, and I understand it was made using Unreal Engine. However, my coding experience is limited to a little bit of Python using Ren'Py. I'd like to know of some learning resources you lot would recommend for teaching myself the process of decompiling and modifying the game. I know it's a bit of a large project, but I'll be damned if I don't try.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions and learning resources.

2023.06.05 12:01 SerbanNechita I think the cannon ending of SB is the Burntrap one
So first of all after watching the dlc trailer i wanted to find out which ending is cannon so i revisited the endings and here is what i found . So in the dlc we see G.Freddy damaged , so he was abandoned in the pizza plex . Now on why i think the true ending is the Burntrap one. So a good point against it is the fact that we see gregory and freddy on the hill. But that can be to show that they died in someway, because in FNAF the hill is like a place for gravestones etc (FNAF 6) . So i think gregory is dead and G.Freddy was broken but maybe Cassie repaired him or something. And "gregory" in the DLC is Afton or The Mimic. What do you think is the cannon ending of SB?

2023.06.04 03:21 VideoGameChronology If Tales Is In Continuity, So Is Stitchline, And Not Because Of Frailty Or Animatronic Apocalypse
I think I'm officially believing in StitchlineGames for one simple reason. Why isn't it in continuity? Let's look at what the Frights books are.
The Frights books are an anthology series of mystery horror stories in the FNAF universe written by Scott Cawton with various authors (including Elley Cooper, Andrea Waggner, and Kelly Parra) and published by Scholastic. Each book contains 3 short stories as well as an epilogue that follow the story of the Stitchwraith which connects to many of the short stories across the 12 books. This series includes recurring characters from the games as well as new characters that only appear in these stories. Aspects of these stories act as metaphors and parallels to the games and answer unsolved questions fans have about the games.
Now, what is Tales from the Pizzaplex?
The Tales books are an anthology series of mystery horror stories in the FNAF universe written by Scott Cawthon with various authors (including Elley Cooper, Andrea Waggner, and Kelly Parra) and published by Scholastic. Each book contains 3 short stories as well as an epilogue that follows the story of the Mimic which connects to many of the short stories across the last 6 books (3 more are announced). This series includes recurring characters from the games as well as new characters that only appear in these stories. Aspects of these stories act as metaphors and parallels to the games and answer unsolved questions fans have about the games.
Okay, so, let's see if I understand this correctly. Both book series are the same genre, made by the same authors, published by the same company, structured the exact same, and both are made to answer questions fans are having but only one contains in continuity material?
See, Tales, without a doubt, is connected to the games. Aside from the obvious connections in the Epilogues and their connected stories:
Help Wanted gives us insight into the Indie Dev and those games
Bobbiedots explains why Sun and Moon act the way they do in Security Breach, why the generators are in the play place, and why the animatronics seem to have human behaviors
GGY ties directly into the arcade games, mentions how 3 therapists vanished, and ties Gregory into being Patient 46 and being under Mimic's control in some way
And again, that's without any of the stories featuring Mimic who IS Glitchtrap and Burntrap. The only way it could be more obvious is Scott himself saying so. This is the closest we'll get to straight up confirmation without Ruin DLC having a duffel bag message talking about The Storyteller.
So, if some of the Tales stories are confirmed in continuity, and half of those are 100% connected to the Epilogues, wouldn't it stand to reason that the identical series of books made for the exact same purpose by the exact same people in the exact same way would have some of their stories in the games continuity, mainly the ones connected to those epilogues?
Seriously, like, the main theory in the Non-StitchlineGames sphere is that those stories are parallels and nothing else. Yet we're ignoring the obvious parallel between these two series? Look, I get the complaints, but I feel they're unwarranted. StitchlineGames doesn't break the game Timeline, most of the stories happen in the between period of FFPS and the start of Tales' Epilogue, a period of time that's only really filled by the events of Help Wanted, both the story and the game. Most of the common complaints about Stitchline are as followed:
"But they know William is the killer in Stitchline"
Do they though? Larson does, but that doesn't make it common knowledge. The trilogy novels have the police convinced William did the crime but it's not common knowledge, the public thought it might've been Henry.
"But Cassidy Is TOYSNHK"
Yeah, the one that's represented by a picture of Scott's son and constantly referred to as male in-game.
"But The Puppet mask was lost in the lake"
Yeah, because things have never been recovered in lakes.
"But EVERYONE saw the MCI"
Again, did they? Oswald had to be lured to the private area to see the 6 bodies. How do we know they aren't panicking because of the kids being missing or because of Glitchy animatronics like in The Silver Eyes?
"But in YTB it says the bodies are lined against the wall"
Something similar happens in the games with Foxy Go Go Go where the bodies are just THERE, right outside Pirate's Cove.
"But Circus Baby's Pizza World was never opened"
Again, most of these stories take place AFTER Fazbear Entertainment has been reestablished. We see in Help Wanted and AR that they own the Funtimes. In a time period where Fazbear Entertainment is trying to regain their popularity, why wouldn't they put all their cards on the table in an effort to get customers? It's not unreasonable to assume Circus Baby's reopens after FFPS.
These are what I mentioned in my last Stitchline related post as arguments against the Stitchline that really don't work. There's nothing in the Stitchline that ACTIVELY contradicts the games. The absolute CLOSEST it gets to actively being contradictory is there being a 6th MCI kid but there are TONS of possible answers for this that Stitchline believers have already mentioned. Maybe it's not literal and the 6th is The Puppet? Maybe the 6th one didn't go missing at Freddy's so wasn't counted among the children that went missing there? Maybe the 6th didn't have anyone to report him missing? These may seem like copout answers but it's not like we get a lot of information on Andrew prior to him being attached to William, it's not even confirmed that curly black hair in Fredbear in The New Kid is Andrew since other characters in this series have curly black hair like Renelle, Hadi, or Tyler.
To me, it's now impossible to say the Stitchline isn't in continuity because if Tales is popularly thought to be in continuity, why isn't the Stitchline when they are literally doing the same things that Tales is?
TL;DR: Fazbear Frights and Tales from the Pizzaplex are literally identical to eachother. So why does one have in continuity stories but the other doesn't? Simple, they both have in continuity stories because if everything else about these series are identical then why not their status is continuity?
