Hi. I have a question about Expand(Sum(List of Monomials))) Problems. For easy understanding, I first write my current construction and then ask the questions. Thanks for your time and patience.

Current Construction (Background)
I create two kinds of polynomials with randomly selected variables. One of the polynomials has only one variable and the other one has two variables.
I first define the number of terms of the two polynomials. Then, I randomly generate coefficients based on the number of terms of each polynomial. For each term of polynomials, I randomly assign indices for the variables and then combine the coefficients and indices to form lists of monomials.

Then, I combine the lists of monomials using Expand(Sum(List of Monomial)), however the function / multivariable function created might pick the default variables. For example, if I have a list of {-3z^3, 2z^2, 1}, then -3x^3+2x^2+1 is obtained. When I call back the element from the 'variable' lists, the variables also change. (You can see the lines "coefficients of a term" give incorrect answers)
Question: How do I combine the list of monomials as texts / functions without varying the variables? I discover that if Expand Command is not used, the variables shown might resume normal, however it will not simplify the variables, for instance, y^0*z^1 (Expand Command will help to simplify as z, but with wrong variables) or yyy (Expand Command will help to simplify as y^3, but with wrong variables).

Hello! It is a warm day today, I bought some new books earlier today and am now just resting a bit before probably cycling a bit later in the day. Would you like to keep me some company?
But - who am I even? Well, I am from Germany and 22 (that much is in the title). I graduated from university earlier this year and am now working. I have moved two weeks ago and am done setting in by now - I am quite content with my new apartment!
My biggest passion in life is probably photography, I love shooting photos. I especially like combining that with good music and a new place to explore! I like to travel and have been to thirteen countries so far - and I hope to increase that number in the future and see lots of cool places! I love music in general, and I listen to quite a lot of it.
I also like to read and write, I’d say I am a pretty creative person in general. Self-improvement is another important thing for me, I also enjoy doing cardio, cooking and baking! The other day, I received an email about setting up a phone interview to discuss one of my applications and myself further! While I do not know how it will go, and of course nothing is guaranteed, I am nonetheless very excited, hopeful, and happy to be making some progress towards a full time education career.

I’ve struggled with major depression for a lot of my life, but was officially diagnosed in Jan of this year. With therapy to build some tools to work through anxiety of relapsing and trials of medication (zoloft worked for me). I find myself in a low place again. However, life has been throwing excess amounts of stress my way and I am not sure if this is me relapsing or if this is just there first time I have felt this low since Jan.
Curious what signs of relapse are and ell the signs. Asking here while I wait to get into my therapist’s couch again.

2023.06.08 13:54 PayAdventurous I'm so fed up of having to fight so people see my worth and how I'm equal to them.

It's exhausting. It's a constant succession of mind games, mind reading and having to proof I'm just like them. All my life, people expects this from me, my mother being an exception. I'm so fed up of the mask, of not being normal all my life. This is why I can't get close to people, because they expect something from you, they want you to act or be certain way that doesn't come natural to my brain. If they sense you are different, they get repulsed by you. Too much intensity in interests? Weirdo. You don't understand certain social cues? Weirdo. You don't have an entertaining life according to our standars? Weirdo.
I can only be myself online, with my family or alone. It's like my safe place.
And please, do not come with the ''the right people will accept you as you are/for you'' bs. That's just idealistic fantasy on how people works. If your brain biology is different they will see you as a pariah, that's what life taught me all my life and I'm +20

2023.06.08 13:54 mounteverest04 I'm torn by the thought of death

Short version: I think about death every single second of my life. And I see everything through the lens of the short amount of time that I have here. What should I do?
Long Version…
My problem
I can't get death out of my mind. Every single event in my life is disrupted by that thought. When good things happen in my life—I can barely enjoy it. Sometimes, I would start laughing and being happy, and all of a sudden, something would tell me “WHY BOTHER—YOU KNOW THIS IS NOT GOING TO LAST, RIGHT”. I feel pity for others when I see them fully enjoy a moment. I'm always like, it makes no sense for you to be that happy.
Sometimes, I would think back to people that lived hundreds of years ago. And I'd be like, they were probably living as if life was worth it. Now, they are gone—and nobody cares.
I'd look at my wife sleeping—thinking about how much I love her, and all of a sudden I'm reminded that we will die one day. I'd talk to my mom—and I'm sad hearing her laughing because I know she will be gone one day. I'm starting to shut people out of my life, so I don't have to endure the pain of possibly losing them.
The thought hasn't paralyzed me totally because I wake up every day and do the things that I love. I feel like I'm the only person in the world like this. I don't think I'm depressed—since I have a perfectly good explanation for thinking this way. But this is eating me alive.
I only work on personal projects now. I don't work for people because I feel like working for someone and having them dictate my day is like “prostituting” my life. I've come to the realization that people don't have time. Life IS time, and selling my time is the same as selling my life.
Weird benefits of this “condition”
I care—but not as much as I used to. I used to be a people-pleaser. Not so much anymore! I left my last job—because I had a rude boss. I thought to myself, “You're just as mortal as I am”. Why would I have to kiss your butt?
I make the most out of my day. And I cherish my time very much—just because I have that clock ticking in my head.
There's a level of despair I can't reach—because I know if things get REALLY bad, death is always there—and it's the worst that could ever happen.
The problem is, I've had more good days than bad ones lately. So the thought of death has been more a disruptor than a resort.

2023.06.08 13:54 jeanisdead Has anybody dealt with a suspected narc “situationship” & feel even worse because they never took you seriously?

He spoke of how well he treated his exes, how he was “still friends” with them, spoke very highly of them.
It always made me wonder why I wasn’t good enough to be his girlfriend. We were long distance throughout the whole situation, about a year before I decided to abruptly close the door a few days ago because I couldn’t take how bad it was feeling anymore.
He always had excuses for why he couldn’t visit me. He dangled vacations over me, future faking to keep me in place. Time kept passing, there would be no attempts to make plans. Just the daily “good morning boo” which became more and more fake as time went by.
“I wish you were here, I wish this, I wish that” started to get old. I addressed it & was always met with textbook word salad about how busy he was with work. The last time I addressed it, he said he’d leave me alone if I wanted him to. Ouch.
He probably would have dragged me along for as long as I’d let him. He never cared about me. I was never good enough for commitment.
It’s so painful. It’s left me feeling so worthless & undesirable. I’m in a weird place in life, no proper career, not many friends, a past riddled with trauma & addiction.
It makes me the perfect target & feels so daunting to fix. Someone I thought was cool & attractive showed me a modicum of attention & I lost myself entirely.
And he never even cared about me, just pretended to so that I’d do my part & flatter his ego.
Ugh.

hello! i recently got a new pomeranian, he is currently 4 months old. everything was going so well but once he warmed up, he's been biting and nipping at me - legs, hands, etc very hard; he's also peeing everywhere rather than using his training mat, and he's terrified of going outside and constantly runs back to me/tries to run back home. when i got him, the previous ownebreeder told me he was potty trained but he is clearly not, and when he was sold to me he was whining a lot - he told me it was his first time outside! i messaged asking what training methods worked out for him but was given an uninterested response, so it's quite clear he wasn't even trained. i got him at 3 nearing 4 months - completely untrained. aside from the biting, he is the sweetest little boy. but i am at a loss, please help!!

Me and my boyfriend are in our late teens, we're long distance. We have alot of mental issues and sometimes our mental health isn't great and it gets to us, sometimes to us both.
We had one such moment yesterday, and the morning after was really rough. We managed to go through it together, we're still learning, and here's where I ask my question.... Once both of us apologized, he asked to restart the day. Give us a second chance at having a good one. I, of course, agreed and then asked for a make up kiss. It's our way to say "this is over, we're okay, we can move on from this. We made up."
Is it too childish? It came to me because alot of kids or young children have like make up hugs after a silly argument. I know that if it works then it works, but at the same time I'm worried over if it's not... Mature enough of a way to deal with things.

Reddit is about to tear down many third party features, all third party apps will soon be taken down. This push to remove all third party access (this time by introducing an unreasonable paywall) has already begun when they took down Pushshift one month ago, that took https://camas.unddit.com and removeddit to view removed comments with it.
Reddit's official app has many deficiencies, not only in how non-compact it is and how many ads it pushes, but also in it's lack of features for vision impairments. It's far from perfect, and soon it'll be the only option to view reddit on mobile.
If you buy awards I'm already unsure why you do that, but stop. If you manage a subreddit and aren't doing this, you're lame and actively allowing reddit to get worse - On a single subreddit scale, no admin cares if they can't find the latest Purah simp thread, the 900th time a "Found a Korok in Real life" image gets posted or find new competitive Pokémon movesets, but change only happens if we all change together. Only creating awareness with a thread and not partaking is performative activism.

Yogididit posted the press release regarding layoffs at the LA Times yesterday. The statement from the Time Guild Unit Council was pretty damning! It appears that the guild believes their contract has been broken. Another lawsuit may be in the works?
"We are outraged by management's announcement this morning that it plans to lay off 57 Guild members across several departments, amounting to roughly 15% of our entire newsroom membership, including several Guild leaders.
This list of targeted layoffs is not final. Under our contract, management is required to bargain with the Guild over proposed layoffs. Management also so far has failed to offer buyouts to staff as is required by our contract.
We were blindsided by this news. Management did not consult us in advance about other options for cutting costs and saving money, short of layoffs. We have been bargaining a new contract since September, and this was never hinted at during bargaining.
This is a case study in bad faith and shows disrespect for the newsroom, which recently added two more Pulitzer Prizes to its long list of awards and recognition for its top-shelf work.
The Guild is pushing back against this outrageous and reckless action by management. The company must discuss alternatives to their unnecessary and short-sighted decision.

2023.06.08 13:53 Grxmloid Anybody else with "subclinical" hypothyroidism experience crashes when iodine not carefully balanced?

I'm in the stage of trying to figure out how to manage the levels of iodine through food, and today I had another crash that within hours of eating fish and seaweed improved. It's so sensitive! I'm glad food helps, I'm determined to have it heal after it was inflamed during a very bad virus and I was taking ashwaghanda at the time which made it very bad/hyperactive and doesnt work for my body. Now my thyroid is still struggling, after a crash like this when I start feeling better again my vision is blurry and I feel like I'm going through a kind of hangover til my clarity of mind returns etc. Never had to go through this in my life its making me upset wondering when I can just live normally again. Atm I feel like I'm a scientist with test tubes changing colour with a drop, except.. little too much iodine..lightheaded, not enough, slowly become depressed and tired til I have a bad crash. Scary. And I'm doing this through nori.. but also eat fish and I do eat eggs almost every day too.

Started playing in lockdown, got an old upright piano (looks like something you'd find in a saloon). The piano was out of tune and had a broken string so I found a 'specialist piano tuner' online.
In his first visit he replaced the broken string but after he left I noticed the piano just had some weird vibration sounds going on. Opened it up and it turns out he had left the old broken string in the bottom of the piano. I thought 'no problem, probably just a mistake.
During the first tuning visit he broke another string and didn't have the correct spare with him so arranged for him to revisit the next week. He came back and replaced the string. Soon as he leaves I start playing and again notice weird sounds. Opened it up and again he had left the broken string rattling around in the bottom of the piano.
He just emailed me saying that my piano is due a retune but honestly I don't trust his work. How can a piano tuner not understand the problem with leaving old strings in the base? Am I missing something here?

Perfect casting, stellar performances, crisp story, unpredictable twists and turns, solid direction, this indian webseries blends indian mythology, psychological crime and high end technology in the most unique manner. I completed watching both the seasons.
Barun Sobti as Nikhil Nair, DG played by Arshad Warsi, young shubh, old shubh, rasool played by amey wagh, Anupriya Goenka as Naina, were phenomenal to say the least. Also, that little kid "Anant" was brilliant. I wish that family man guy had more screen space.
Special mention to the guy who played Kesar Bhardwaj. Gaurav Arora! Seen his work for the first time. And such great talent. Good looks, acting chops...FAB.
Its not like a regular thriller. There are so many things you take with yourself. I loved how carefully they handled Hinduism and our ancient stories. Unlike Bollywood. It shows how sincere and honest the film makers were with this project. So many key lessons this film forces you to think about.
I don't know why people are not talking about this series and it's actors much on this sub. I'm not exaggerating but it deserves mass views and international recognition, awards and nominations. Not even kidding, y'all please watch it and HYPE IT.
