HELP PLEASE !
Completely stuck what to do with my suspected adhd 4 & 1/2 yr old.
She won’t stop stealing treats, favourite snack foods and little trinkets/knick knacks and I really just don’t know what I can do left to parent this behaviour.
It happens all the time, sometimes really early in the morning when no-one else is awake she will sneak treats out of the cupboard (this involves climbing onto the kitchen sides), or will take all the yoghurts (and other snacks) from the fridge whilst I’m showering, or she’ll swipe my favourite bracelet or my eldest’s ‘treasures’ (suspected autism so this causes meltdowns) or her dads fidget toy (also adhd with bad picking stim so really needs this cube as is only thing that helps stop the picking) even though she has her own and many other fidget toys, she takes tiny things from pre-school all the time I have to frisk her before she leaves and much more and no matter how I approach it, she just will not stop !!
She will also lie about having done it when it was obviously her and is beginning to lie about lots of inconsequential things, even if I repeat again and again she won’t get in trouble for being honest with me!! We have always maintained that honesty would essentially mean we’re more lenient in the consequences and quite frankly we’re not really authoritative parents anyway, we try and always maintain positive re-enforcement for good behaviours and natural consequences but have had to use taking away things like treats or toys when at wits end which never feels good and I never feel like it even works other than to just make my kids feel shit which I obviously don’t like and then makes me feel like a terrible mum!
I’m basically just stuck, how the fuck do you parent this?! I can’t physically lock up the fridge and am trying to save up to buy those fancy child locks for cupboards but I just feel like locking things away doesn’t actually address the issue and I want to actually get to the root of the behaviour and help that!!
I am also ADHD, CPTSD and BPD and I did used to lie a lot when I was a kid but that was mainly because my mothers approach to parenting was to scream at me, beat me, and berate me no matter whether I told the truth or not, she would also believe lies my siblings told her about me so I always felt the truth was actually futile. All of which is to say that obviously I am not doing any of things with my children, I try and gentle parent as much as I possibly can, sometimes I’m worse at it and generally it’s when I’m overstimulated, depressed and stressed the fuck out and then sometimes I shout but now I’m panicking I’ve somehow fucked up my child and she’s lying because of me?!
I feel I’m rambling now but I’m just stuck, I feel like a terrible mum right now which is really triggering me (have made attempts on my life previously due to psychosis fuelled dissociate episodes linked to my belief I’m a terrible person/mother) and I just want to do right by my babies!! I was failed as a ND child and I never want that for them, please tell me one of you has an idea on how to deal with this going forward so we can all just have a happier life right now ?! 😫

Christianity, as a religion, is flawed. Though sects exist within other mainstream beliefs, only is Christianity experiencing as much division as it is. This is for three reasons in particular. The argument of tradition or scripture, what scripture even is and how it should be understood. I hope to answer these questions and many more in a series of blogs to make Christianity whole. (Note: I am open to critics and guidance. I acknowledge my fallibility as a human and that a project like this cannot be embarked on alone. I only as that those who share in faith with me aid me along with Thy Holy Spirit.)
So for scripture versus tradition, we must acknowledge, that even if one claimed scripture came from tradition given to us by Christ, that contemporary Christian tradition is not reflective of the tradition that gave birth to scripture. In fact, by this logic, scripture can be stated to be reflective of the original tradition that it originated from but then come the question, what is scripture?
If scripture is going to be the basis of our renewed faith, its meaning must be something that conveys its authority. With this in mind, I will define scripture as pieces of writing that the accurately conveyed to us Truth of HaShem. How may we come to confirm that the writings convey the Truth of HaShem? By looking at the authorship of various pieces of writing and seeing if the author may have heard the Truth of HaShem from HaShem which, as Christians, we confirm to Jesus the Christ.
Now, we must ask ourselves if there is any writing by Jesus we may infer our beliefs from and to that the answer is no. So next we must ask ourselves, is there anyone who could have heard what Jesus had to say directly? Yes, the twelve apostles and the brothers of Jesus, James and Jude. Of course, many historians and biblical scholars may argue their existence so I will argue otherwise.
According to Josephus, in his work Antiquities of the Jews, James, the brother of Jesus was stoned to death by order of Ananus ben Ananus, a Herodian-era High Priest in the 60–70 AD. It is generally agreed that the Antiquities of the Jews is historically accurate. It was also written by Flavius Josephus, who was a historian alive around the time of which he wrote, further legitimizing that James, brother of Jesus, was a real person. As for the twelve apostles, they are made reference to in the Ecclesiastical History by Eusebius of Caesarea whose reliability varies somewhat, but he was a careful scholar and he quoted his sources.
Besides that, there is also Irenaeus, in his writing Against Heresies, who tells us that he learned under Polycarp who knew the apostle John personally. Then lastly, if one doubts these sources due to the time between them and when the apostle was said to be alive, turn to the Didache and the Letter of Clement to the Romans. Both, though generally considered Apocrypha, are estimated to have been written about the late end of the first century. Both refer to the twelve apostles.
So if the twelve apostles and James were real people, have they written anything we can use to learn what scripture is according to Jesus? Let us examine writing traditionally given authorship to them. With the epistle of James the author simply says himself to be James without specifying which one, the brother of Jesus or the son of Zebedee or James, son of Alphaeus or a lesser James. Either way, there is no evidence that it was written by any of the biblical James as it was written in Greek and there is no evidence to support that any of the biblical James attained a Greek education. Also, the epistle in question seems to be borrowing from the first epistle of Peter (which I will talk about later) and arguing against Paulinism. If that were to be true then this imposes the belief that this book was written after the death of both biblical James.
The main argument against the first Epistle of Peter is based on the following:
Peter, by many sources including the Ecclesiastical History by Eusebius of Caesarea, has been stated to be crucified around 65 AD. Should this be true the identification of Rome with Babylon used in the epistle would not make sense as it only came after the destruction of the temple in AD 70.
There is also the fact that the epistle was written in Greek which there is no evidence for Peter having learnt.
The Epistle of Jude has a similar issue to the Epistle of James. The author states themselves to be Jude, brother of James but there are two biblical Judes, one the brother of Jesus and the apostle. For the brother of Jesus of the name Jude, there is no historical evidence known to me of him besides that which is written in the gospels. Jude the apostle, was believed to have been martyred around 65 AD which is a problem as the epistle of Jude seems to have been inspired by the first epistle of Peter which is dating I spoke of earlier.
The second epistle of Peter falls under similar criticism as its predecessor along with none of the supporting points instead two more critics. Firstly is that the writing in this epistle differs from the first epistle to the point that some scholars suggest they have two different authors. Secondly, the second epistle seems to have been influenced by the epistle of Jude (which I will talk about later). Next are the Johannine writings. The epistles of John are similar to the gospel of John so they are said to share the same author or at least the same school of teachings. Arguments against Johannine authorship come from these facts, the gospel of John seems to be more theological than historical and the epistles seem to tackle problems of late 1st century Christianity.
These two points lend a later authorship to the writings but John having lived rather long could have still lived long enough to have written these pieces of writing. Another critique is that the writings were written in Greek but this is again can be argued by the fact that John is agreed upon to have died in Ephesus which warrants him to have learnt Greek in his long life or gotten an assistant to write on his behalf. Thus I declare that John might have been the author of the works credited to him or at the very least they were written by his followers in light of his teachings.
As for the Revelation to John, I quote (Wikipedia as the best way to describe what I have to say),
Mainstream scholars conclude that the author did not also write the Gospel of John because of wide differences in eschatology, language, and tone. The Book of Revelation contains grammatical errors and stylistic abnormalities whereas the Gospel and Epistles are all stylistically consistent which indicates the author may not have been as familiar with the Greek language as the Gospel/Epistles's author. Contemporary scholars note that when Revelation and the Gospel refer to Jesus as "lamb" they use different Greek words, and they spell "Jerusalem" differently. There are differing motifs between the book and the Gospel: use of allegory, symbolism, and similar metaphors, such as "living water", "shepherd", "lamb", and "manna".
As for any other writings attributed to the twelve apostles, I say that as they were already denounced (as they do not appear in the traditional new testament) I need not denounce them. With there only being writings from John, one may ask if we can use the methodology we used on Jesus on the apostles to find more writings that may contain the word of HaShem. Yes, but we will have to be more sceptical and with such an approach there are five authors one could safely infer from. First Paul, once Saul of Tarsus, second is Ignatius of Antioch and third is Polycarp of Smyrna. With Paul, his existence is unquestionable but one could question if he had met the apostle in the first place.
It would take time to state the history of all these particular people and why they were chosen and not others but I will summarize their connections to the twelve apostles:
Paul was appointed an apostle by the apostles.
Ignatius of Antioch and Polycarp of Smyrna were both disciples of John the Apostle.
What Paul wrote exactly is confirmed to be the first epistle to Thessalonians, the epistle to Galatians, the first and second epistles to Corinthians, the epistle to the Romans, the epistle to Philemon and the epistle to Philippians. The epistle to the Colossians, though having the trademark signs of the confirmed epistle, is believed to have been edited to go against gnostic beliefs which only reached its ascendancy by the early 2nd century. The Epistle to Ephesians is argued against due to its difference in style and language usage.
The Second Epistle to the Thessalonians is far more complicated and subtle in the arguments for or against it so I will leave it questionable. The pastoral epistles of Paul are generally the most disputed among the canonical epistles. They are held to the same criticism as the epistles to the Colossians and Ephesians and for those reasons alone, I will be excluding it. For other epistles attributed to Paul, I say that as they were already denounced (as they do not appear in the traditional new testament) I need not denounce them.
As for what exactly Ignatius of Antioch wrote, seven epistles are credited to his name, the epistle to the Ephesians, the Epistle to the Magnesians, the Epistle to the Trallians, the Epistle to the Romans, the Epistle to the Philadelphians, the epistle to the Smyrnaeans and the epistle to Polycarp. Arguments have been launched against them by protestants but they are not substantial enough to deny Ignatian authorship. Polycarp of Smyrna wrote one epistle to the Philippians.
One comment I would like to make for my exclusion of the writings of other church fathers. One is that their writing was not wholly, persevered through time, as it is with Papias of Hierapolis and Quadratus of Athens. Two is the questionable believability of their interaction with any of the apostles, an example of which is Clement of Rome. And three, the authorship of work accredited to their name is questionable, John Mark. So here we have writings we can claim to be scripture but many of them, are quotes and refers to other pieces of writing. If what we claim to be scripture is scripture then anything writings it quotes should also be scripture.
With this train of thought, we can validate some more writings as scripture: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Deuteronomy, Psalms, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Samuel, Numbers, Habakkuk, Proverbs, Jonah, Judges, Chronicles, Kings, Joshua, Gospel of Matthew, Hosea, Ephesians, Gospel of Luke, Acts, 1 Peter, 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Hebrew, Job, Daniel, The Seven Minor Prophets(Joel, Amos, Micah, Nahum, Zechariah, Haggai, Malachi) and Tobit
There are some writings that we previously denounced appear in this list again (1 & 2 Timothy, 2 Thessalonians, Ephesians and 1 Peter) but I think the fact they were quoted allows us to put our doubts about them aside. There are also books referred to which we do no longer exist, Acts of Solomon, Acts of Uziah, Acts of the Kings of Israel, Annals of King David, Book of Gad the Seer, Book of Jashar, Book of Jehu, Book of Nathan the Prophet, Book of Shemaiah the Prophet, Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel, Book of the Wars of the Lord, Chronicles of the Kings of Israel, Chronicles of the Kings of Judah, Laments for Josiah, Prophecy of Ahijah, Sayings of the Seers, Story of the Book of Kings and Story of the Prophet Iddo. For this, nothing can be done but we will do what we must with what we have.
Now with all confirmable scripture, all that is left is to order the books. First I believe as Christians the book of our faith must start with a proclamation of our faith, the Gospel writings. These can be ordered as followed:
The Jewish Gospel (This is what I will call the Gospel of Matthew since scholars generally deny its authorship by the apostle of Matthew)
The Gospel of John the Beloved Apostle
The Gospel according to Luke
The Acts of the Apostles
The First Epistle of John the Beloved Apostle
The Second Epistle of John the Beloved Apostle
The Third Epistle of John the Beloved Apostle
Next, with the insight of the gospel writings can we introduce the Tanakh in the next form of category called the Legendary writings. The reasoning behind this name is that history often does not align with these writings. Nonetheless, the character of importance within them we can affirm to have existed and they convey truths about HaShem.

I am currently looking into changing my firmware to klipper, because it seems like the best firmware out there. I don't know what firmware I am running at the moment, but it is some kind of custom Marlin stuff to make my BL Touch work on my Artillery Genius.

I have everything I need to set it up, the Pi 3B+, which was running Octopi is ready to use.

The only thing I don't like so far, is the touchscreen on the printer itself to stop working with klipper. Should I just forget about it and leave it unplugged or is there any way to keep on using it, maybe use it as display connected to the rasperry pi with KlipperScreen? Has anybody tried something like that?

Yesterday was my second day of pushing carts and I'm proud that i was able to walk 26k steps but at the cost of sore hamstring and a dry cough. Well, I don't want to be rude to my team but I decided to take a day off as I don't want to work with my legs sore.
It was only me and my coworker and 1 other cart pusher flaked on us Apparently. I noticed that 3 cart pushers is needed to have a more carts to leaving customers ratio but damn it we still did well even on the less bussiest day of the week. . I was constantly delaying breaks as we were running out of carts very fast.
As my coworker took his hour break I was hand pushing about 6-8 carts at a time with good speed and consistency. AND I KNOW ABOUT THE CART MACHINE. I rather not use it as it's not optimal for me and it's a safety issue for me. I was pushing in carts as more cars came and customers. Customers leaving trash on the carts and on the ground instead of walking 3 steps to the trash can that was located at every cart station outside[Someone built a baby carrige at one of the leave your cart stations and left the bigcardboard box there with the Styrofoam and parts left in it]. A nice old lady tipped me but I gave that money away to a homeless couple. I only stopped to get a drink of water and went backout. My feet was no longer just sore now it's in slight pain. I continued this for an hour or so and then I started to get a dry caugh and from time to time i would spend 10 seconds constantly coughing. The store finally started to slowdown. I sat down on my butt inside the exit and welcome area as I needed a rest for my feet. Co worker came back and the store was at a stable enough speed to where it was enough for 1 or more cart pushers can take their time. I layer their thinking about my fabricated wife and non existant child.
The hardest part was that the customers would leave their carts to where they see fit. I love the elders for taking care of the carts and making it a bit easier for me.
I left like 10 minutes early since I developed a dry caugh and my feet was in pain. I was not proud of this but I have to listento my body. On my way home I noticed that my average steps per day went from. 2k to 8k with that day alone.
I slept well and soreness hit after I woke up. I won't be going to work as my fabricated wife and nonexistant child wants me to heal up before I go on Sunday as it's the bussiest day of the entire week.
Clocking out - Your fellow cart pusher

posted quite a few times about this so i’m sorry but im on week 3 of 150 XL i’m genuinely at my wits end and about to quit. the positive effects are starting to kick in but the fact that i’m getting 3-4 hours of sleep at night is leaving me fucking exhausted so I can’t really experience the positives here. i called my doctor and he told me to quit even tho the positives are starting to kick in. but the sleep is just so fucking bad.
ANY tips i will try to get some good fucking sleep. i would take it at 7 am and i’d be wide awake until 2 am and then wake up 4 times. i switched to taking it right before bed but i still wake up 4 times but i can fall asleep.
i take magnesium glycinate and ashwaganda before bed and even somehow those can’t make me tried/sleep like they used to before wellbutrin. i work out. i eat well. i’m in bed the same time every night.
please any advice before i quit?

I looked over and there was a church window covered in nests with mother birds sitting on them. There were seagulls, pigeons, eagles pelicans and other birds. I remember thinking "why are there predators nesting with prey" one mama bird a black colored bird flew from her nest. In her nest was one huge egg. Above her nest a seagull was nesting. It reached down and cracked open the egg. In the egg were several fully developed feathered babies looking around. I looked to see if the momma bird was coming because I thought to myself "the seagull is going to eat them" I looked over and the babies seemed fine. I looked for the momma in the sky but when I looked at the babies they were being swallowed by the seagull. Everyone on the ledge watched as it happened. In my head I knew I shouldn't interfere with nature. There were soon only three or four babies left. I jumped off the balcony and ran across the grass and reached in the nest to grab the babies. There was only one left. It was blueish green like a a peacocks colors. It tried to jump out of my hands but I held it firm. It bit my hand. I soothed it and held it differently. I was going to keep it safe till the momma returned. I asked my son to get me something from the car to put the baby in. He came back with a paperbag. I put the baby in the bag and folded the top. As I was talking with others I looked down to check and the baby bird was suffocating. There was no air in the bag. I opened the bag and saw the bird start to breathe again. I folded the top but left a small opening for air this time. I told my son go get a box from the car. This time he came back with a flimsy cookie box. I put the baby bird in it and it tried to fly away but did not know how to fly. So I reached up and caught it. I put it back in the flimsy box. But this time I held it so it would stay closed. I looked over at the nest and momma bird was returning. She looked horrified and started calling for her baby. For some reason I was no longer in my hands. It was off to the side next to my ex husband. The baby was calling back. I told him to hand me the box he didn't. I went to pick up the box myself. I went and put the baby back in the nest with its momma. I returned to the patio and the momma bird flew back over. Leaving her baby alone. She accused me of stealing her babies and I got angry. I yelled at her pointing out the seagull and how it had eaten her babies. I yelled how I tried to save her babies. I went to check on the baby and mom had moved it next to a pelicans nest. I thought to myself. That's not safe either. The pelicans was asleep. It cracked one eye to look at me then went back to sleep. The nest next to the baby bird had no momma and a baby pelican in it. I stood near the nest to make sure my baby bird would be safe. That's when I woke up.

I work in tech consulting in an EU country.
My first 3 years here were very positive. I got promotions, bonuses, constant praise and positive feedback.
But I just finished my 4th year and I don't know what the hell is going on...
Just months after being promoted and called a strong performer, I was added to the "business confirmed low performer" list.
My coach had no idea why, wasn't even consulted on it, but managed to get my name removed.
Months later, she was asked by a partner "does OP need a PIP?". My coach was confused, very against it, and was not told why, just in the end that there would be no PIP.
Months later, a managing director who I was assisting with a proposal asked if I'm okay and how I'm feeling about my PIP that's about to start. Huh?!
My coach, manager, and team lead then confirm that there is no PIP, that they see no notable issues with my performance (to the contrary), and that it must be a misunderstanding.
But weeks later my year-end results are delivered and I'm the only person I know not to get a raise or bonus. The grade increase that everyone told me was automatic was also denied.
My coach was not given a reason. It went completely against her recommendations and all my feedback for the year.
She enquired with the relevant PPMD, who gave a very dismissive and nonsense response.
The PPMD gave a bullet point list of all my (positive to extremely positive) feedback, and did some absolutely wild mental gymnastics to try to turn fully positive statements into negatives? It was actually insane.
They then said that if I don't dramatically improve my performance within weeks that I will have to leave. That my coach should create a PIP immediately.
I am just... puzzled. I was always told I was a strong performer. All my metrics are better than ever. My feedback is all very positive. I've not received a single piece of criticism all year! Yet they keep trying to PIP or BCLP me?
I get along very well with my team & coach. I've wondered... do they PPMDs just really dislike me? But they barely know me.
WTF is going on? My country has very strong employment laws so it'd be very difficult to fire me. Is this just an attempt to make me leave of my own choice? It sucks to be treated this way.
TL;DR: After 3 years of constant praise & promotions, I have my best year so far. Yet PPMDs keep trying to PIP, BCLP, and give me a terrible year end for no apparent reason. My coach, managers, and I are confused AF. WTF is this shit?

On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
   
2. Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join us at our sister sub at /ModCoord - but please don't pester mods you don't know by simply spamming their modmail.
   
3. Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
   
4. Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible. This includes not harassing moderators of subreddits who have chosen not to take part: no one likes a missionary, a used-car salesman, or a flame warrior.
   

I know the general 'rule' is leaving new piercings in for 6-8 weeks minimum. I've got an event coming up next week that needs piercings out if possible. Would swapping my titanium piercings with some bioplastic retainers be okay as a temp change and then back to the titanium? Or should I leave them alone and tape over with some gauze and skin tone tape.
Firsts lobe piercing will be 4 weeks old at the time of the event. Have had no swelling and only minimal discharge/crusties. They were done with a needle by a reputable piercer and been using saline spray twice daily to keep clean

I am currently looking into changing my firmware to klipper, because it seems like the best firmware out there. I don't know what firmware I am running at the moment, but it is some kind of custom Marlin stuff to make my BL Touch work on my Artillery Genius.

I have everything I need to set it up, the Pi 3B+, which was running Octopi is ready to use.

The only thing I don't like so far, is the touchscreen on the printer itself to stop working with klipper. Should I just forget about it and leave it unplugged or is there any way to keep on using it, maybe use it as display connected to the rasperry pi with KlipperScreen? Has anybody tried something like that?

Hi all. Strange one. I went to do a service on a friends 520d. Located the sump plug? Went to undo it and got a spark. Got a better view to make sure I wasn’t touching anything else and spark again.
It’s definitely the sump plug, can’t find anything on it. Could it be something touching the casing? Didn’t go ahead because getting it out is one thing but putting it back in is another.
Should I disconnect the battery and leave as is?

And I'm worried it's going to cause a meltdown because I'm supposed to go out.
Someone I worked with left, and it's supposed to be her leaving drinks. I know 2 people in our team definitely aren't going because they can't today. I'm not sure about many others because they work remotely and don't live nearby - they may travel down though.
It's super hot today - hottest day if the year and I don't do well in the heat. I've put on weight and a lot of my clothes don't fit or are tight, so I don't know what to wear. I need something that will keep the sun off me, because I burn easily and I also don't want to damage my tattoos. I want something loose because it's cooler, but I don't want to be too covered because it's hot.
I'm supposed to be going out at the hottest part of the day. Very soon. Town is a seafront town and will be rammed with people. We're meant to be going to a pub I've never been to, and I don't know who is going or where they'll be in the pub. It's also a walk all the way across town from the station, and did I mention it's hot?
I've been doing some much needed housework this morning and I'm now hot. I've already had a shower to rinse off but it's still not exactly comfortable.
But let's say I get my clothing issues sorted and get there ok, I've then got to put on my happy, sociable mask and that's a lot of effort. I never really know how to have a conversation and I feel awkward because I go blank and don't know what to say. They're people I know well enough, but not enough to really let my guard down with.
Oh, and my partner is working this morning and is going out this afternoon/evening so I may not even see him all day but he is my safe person.
I want to make excuses to not go, but I'll feel bad about not making the effort for them, and also feel bad about not doing something fun. I don't want to miss out but I don't want it to be hard 😭
I would love to be able to go out, and have a few drinks in the sun without worrying about all of this 😭

Oh, and I'm just sitting the sofa reading and feeling nowhere near ready. I just don't have the energy at the moment and want to lie down and nap for a bit, then go out with my partner instead. Somewhere calm and quiet.

So for some context, I (20f) have been living with my aunt (28f) for the past 11 months. I moved in with her after i was kicked out of my parents house after a huge fight.
I come from a different religion which requires me to live with my parents until marriage or in this case with any relatives. Me and my aunt mostly gets along but have fights here and there She is a teacher and sometimes she’s really busy with school so I look after the kids (1f) and (3m).
So lately it’s becoming a lot tiring to take care of two kids at the same time as they are growing older and throwing tantrums a lot, so I just leave the kids with the parents after they come home however the issue started with my aunt complaining about her being tired after work and excepts me to look after them to which I refused
She’s now upset with me because I didn’t do as she said? So Reddit, AITA for refusing to look after my cousins?

With Google's free tier long gone I decided to migrate from Google Photos to iCloud.
When I look at my Google One account I can see that 62GB of the space is taken up by Google Photo. I have around 50,000 photos and 1500 videos.
I am currently in the process of extracting all my photos using Google Takeout and importing them to iCloud via the Photo application on my MacBook and I can already see that my Photo Library is more than 300GB in size and I am running in to space issues on my MacBook.
I am confused and looking answers for the following questions.
1) Why is it on Google Photos my media was only taking up 62GB, which allowed me to stay on a lower tier? With my PhotoLibrary at 300GB and growing I will need to upgrade to the 2TB tier, which was completely unexpected.
2) I have optimize storage enabled so I am expecting my MacBook HD to regain space as media is uploaded to iCloud. I am currently on the 200GB tier and can see that 60GB of Photos and Videos are on iCloud. Is my understanding correct that if I leave my MacBook alone my MacBook storage will increase and more photos and videos will be uploaded to iCloud (until the 200GB limit is reached)?

Saw today Adam posted a video of himself about how upset he was at himself for yelling at the golden geese for leaving the freezer open and the contents go bad. Someone else had the same thought I did thinking how terrible his video was. What I also took notice of was that A made sure he hashtagged the meat company and mentioned he had to throw away 5-7 hundred dollars of bad meat. All this made me think of is Adam will not be paying for his meat going forward......SPONSORSHIP!!!! Just like he does with all his Jeep stuff. And made sure he gave special thanks to the people that made it possible for him to go to Indy 500 a few weeks ago. Overall, reprimanding your kids is a way of life. But making sure you make a video about it is a little overboard. The welled up eyes for effect was special.
