I have been here since this sub was created pretty much and I still find out new things all the time. I still opine that he was framed but I don't rule out that he could be guilty as well.
I was Googling and looking at some old posts from locals right around the time Steven was under investigation for the Halbach murder. Using the wayback machine was the only way to see most articles. Then I ran across an article from TODAY'S TMj4 that said Avery had sent them letter's blaming Kratz for the murder.

"Convicted murderer Steven Avery has sent two letters to TODAY'S TMJ4. Avery was convicted in 2007 for killing freelance photographer Teresa Halbach in 2005. Avery claims he's innocent, but a jury found him guilty and prosecutors said DNA evidence at the scene proved it.
Avery's latest two letters claim that former Calumet County District Attorney Ken Kratz is the killer. Kratz prosecuted the Avery case. Kratz is currently under fire for sending sexually inappropriate text messages to a crime victim, and resigned as district attorney. We checked to make the sure the letters are from Avery, who is serving a life sentence in Boscobel, and his girlfriend confirmed the letters were sent by Avery.
Both letters are filled with grammar and spelling errors. He wrote: "I thank that Kratz won't to have sex with Teresa and she said no and something happen and Kratz did something?"
What is troubling is the scenario he makes up for how she is murdered.

2021.11.18 04:59 Beardchester 1977 Waukesha County, Wisconsin John Doe identified as man from Bistol, Tennessee [Update]

It was September 14th, 1977 when a Waukesha County Sheriff deputy was parked alongside Interstate 94 when a car flew past him. The deputy caught up to the vehicle to pull it over. The driver exited onto Golf Road and attempted to evade the deputy at a high rate of speed. The driver approached the intersection of Golf Road and County Road SS (potentially Prospect Avenue today.)
The driver lost control of his vehicle here and rolled into a wooded area near this intersection. No other vehicles were involved in this incident and the driver appeared to be the only person in the car. The deputy found the vehicle upside down, and found the deceased driver twenty-five feet away. Further investigation found that John Doe's vehicle had been stolen from Gurnee, Illinois, roughly 67 miles southeast of the accident site.
Interesting items found in the vehicle included a Waltham wrist watch, 3 sets of keys, several bags of women's clothes, cash inside a wallet, an envelope with the name Scott written on it containing unidentified pills, and a cigarette lighter with the inscription "To John, love Lauri."
Also in his personal effects were some notes including:

"Belmot Kedzie 2814 (or 2.814)"
An ad for Johhny's Mobile Home Sales
"Employment Office 2860 N. Lincoln No hiring done here"
"Lincolln" and a circular squiggle
"Riddell Inc 1151 W . Roscoe"

Other unspecified items supposedly bore the name "John."
The man who came to be known as Delafield John Doe was a white male estimated to be between 17-30 years old. Fast forward to 2015, and John Doe's DNA is finally collected. The medical examiner's office presented the case to the DNA Doe Project. Sometime in 2021, a family member was identified. The DNA match was made with the John Doe's sister. 44 years after his death, Delafield John Doe has been identified as John Lindbergh Scott from Bristol, Tennessee.
Another Doe has their name back! As 2021 winds down, it looks like it will be yet another strong year in what seems like a golden age for cold cases, especially for the missing and unidentified. I usually cover cases from Georgia or the south, but the details in John's case caught my eye recently and I am so happy he has his name back. Lastly, "Bistol" in the title is supposed to be Bristol. The first source I found misspelled it as well and I forgot to change it before submitting. Oops.

Wisconsin is perhaps the most mediocre state out there. We have maybe two cities that people can name, and then cows. How much do you actually care about cows?
Wisconsin is currently a COVID-19 hotspot. The pandemic may be over by the time you get here, but it says a lot about WI residents.
If you're lactose intolerant: have fun.
The beer really isn't that good.
Snow. So much fucking snow.
You'll probably develop high cholesterol by the time you're 20 due to all the German food we have here.
Wisconsin drivers are okay, but the Illinois assholes who drive up are not.
The Dells are overpriced, and you'll be there during the off-season.
Steven's Point exists.
Milwaukee is one of the most segregated cities in America.
There's no subway or good public transportation. Have fun on the "Hop", which is still free and the city is losing money on because no one fucking uses it.
Have I mentioned the snow? Because it's not just that. It'll be fine the first time, but then it's -5 without the wind chill as you're walking to class and the ice has frozen under the snow and you will fall on your ass.
January weather is brutal, you literally can't breathe when you go outside.

Communities are tight-knit and exclusive.
If you're a POC in anywhere besides Madison... good luck.
There's no good jobs outside of the cities unless you want to work milking cows all day.

With coronavirus numbers still spiking in several states and flu season just around the corner, President Trump has brought out the most reliable tools in his pandemic toolkit: A guy he saw on Fox News, a conspiracy theory he saw on the internet, and some good old fashioned nationalism.

Coronavirus outbreaks have been surging across the midwest over the past week, with case numbers rising dramatically in Iowa and the Dakotas. (A special shout-out to Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) for welcoming the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, which has just been linked to its first death, and for continuing to reject a mask mandate or lockdown orders.) As we head into fall, the U.S. is averaging 40,000 new cases per day—a level that Dr. Anthony Fauci today called “an unacceptably high baseline.”
Unfortunately, for every Fauci there is an equal and opposite anti-Fauci. Trump has increasingly favored the input of Scott Atlas, a neuroradiologist who earned a spot on the White House coronavirus task force last month by dint of having appeared on Fox News a lot. Atlas, who has no epidemiological expertise, has questioned the science of mask-wearing, falsely argued that children can’t transmit the coronavirus, and advocated for the dangerous herd immunity strategy that Trump hollered back into the Fox News echo chamber this week. Atlas was also reportedly behind the CDC’s awful new recommendation that people without symptoms need not get tested.
While Trump takes his cues from the guy who tells him what he wants to hear, his GOP allies are picking up his favorite conspiracy theories and running with them. In Iowa, where the coronavirus has killed 1,126 people as of Wednesday, Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) parroted a QAnon fantasy that the national death toll is inflated: “These health-care providers and others are reimbursed at a higher rate if covid is tied to it, so what do you think they’re doing?” Have fun getting to the bottom of that in your retirement, Joni.

Trump’s one public health interest is the effort to develop a vaccine—so long as he gets to claim full credit for it before the election.

The CDC has notified health officials in all 50 states to be ready to distribute a vaccine to health-care workers and other high risk groups by early November, in the latest very subtle preview of Trump’s October Surprise. The documents were sent out the same day as Trump’s RNC address, in which he said that a vaccine could be in circulation by the end of the year. Both Fauci and FDA chief Stephan Hahn said in interviews this week that a vaccine could be authorized for emergency use before Phase 3 trials have completed, if the trial results are overwhelmingly positive.
No matter the timeline, we’ll be going it alone. The Trump administration said that the U.S. will not participate in an international coalition to find and distribute a coronavirus vaccine, in part because the initiative is co-led by the World Health Organization, which Trump is pretending to be mad at as part of his bid to blame China for his own failures. Even if the U.S. does distribute a viable vaccine on its own, which it seems likely to do, the move could further threaten the global supply chain, lead to vaccine hoarding that hurts higher-risk populations around the world, and squander another opportunity for international leadership.

Here’s a quick side-by-side of the last 24 hours: While Donald Trump demanded the resumption of college football and held another superspreading event in North Carolina, Joe Biden received a briefing from education leaders, and delivered a speech on his plan to safely reopen schools. There is a way out of this purgatory, if we’re willing to put in the work.

The Department of Homeland Security withheld an intelligence bulletin warning law enforcement agencies that Russia would try to sow disinformation about Joe Biden’s mental health. According to the bulletin, analysts had determined with “high confidence” that Russian actors were likely to continue denigrating Biden’s mental fitness in order to influence the election. An hour after a draft of the document was submitted on July 7, a senior DHS official intervened to pause its distribution to federal, state and local law enforcement: “Please hold on sending this one out until you have a chance to speak to [acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf].” The bulletin was never circulated, and the Trump campaign has continued to echo the same false claims. This is what collusion looks like when the colluders control the government.

Ed Markey defeated Joe Kennedy III in their Massachusetts Senate primary, marking (Markey-ing?) the first time a Kennedy has lost a Massachusetts election. It was a split night for progressives: Alex Morse was unable to unseat Richard Neal.
The CDC issued a halt on evictions through December for people unable to pay rent due to the pandemic, but without federal rental assistance (which can only be approved by Congress), those renters will still be in crisis at the end of the year.
The real owner of a burned-down shop in Kenosha, WI, refused to join President Trump on his tour of destruction, so Trump went ahead and posed for a photo-op in front of his store anyway, with the previous owner.
Joe and Jill Biden will visit Kenosha on Thursday, and probably not do that.
Trump campaign press secretary Hogan Gidley doubled down on defending Kyle Rittenhouse’s decision to murder two people at a protest: “If you don’t allow police to do their job, then the American people have to defend themselves some way.” A little wordy, he could really edit that down to “we would like more street violence before the election please.”
An internal Postal Service audit found that more than one million primary ballots were delivered to voters too late, and that audit took place before Postmaster General Louis DeJoy arrived and started making up new delays. Have you requested your absentee ballot yet?
The moderators for the presidential debates will be: Chris Wallace will moderate the first debate on September 29, followed by Steve Scully, then Kristen Welker. Susan Page will moderate the vice presidential debate on October 7.
Georgia likely wrongfully removed 200,000 voters from its rolls, according to a new report. The state, always at the cutting-edge of voter suppression, inaccurately concluded that those voters had moved and not changed the addresses on their voter registrations. The Palast Investigative Fund reviewed a sample and found that 63.3 percent of the voters had not, in fact, moved.
Voice of America staffers say that CEO Michael Pack has been dismantling the firewall meant to protect news reports from political meddling. When two cable networks dispensing round-the-clock propaganda just aren’t enough.
Iowa State has canceled its plan to cram 25,000 fans into a football stadium, perhaps in response to this question from Story County Health Board chairman John Paschen: “We’re talking about are you on the side of Mr. Death or are you against Mr. Death?” Keep it moving, Mr. Death.

Hello again, my fellow truth-seekers. I sincerely appreciate the overwhelmingly positive response I got to my last essay, and have been encouraged to continue my research.
If you haven’t read my previous piece, “From Conspiracy to Fact: An analysis of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Information Control, and the New World Order,” I highly encourage you to do so before reading this article, as it lays the philosophical groundwork for some of the topics I will discuss today. I tried very hard to make it non-biased, as well as to focus primarily on facts and research about things that have already happened, as opposed to conjecture about the future. I hope you find it helpful.
In this new essay, I want to build on many of the topics that many other users have written about recently. There have been some really well-written, thoughtful posts on this sub recently, and I encourage you to follow the embedded links below through to the original posts, read them for yourself, and give these deserving researchers and philosophers some thanks and updoots.

And I feel that’s very true. Despite the trolls, bots, shills, and just plain good old fashioned crazies, I have seen some incredible examples of journalism here, and the MSM has all but abandoned any attempt to inform the public of literally anything going on in the world besides the “Invisible Enemy,” the “Pandemic.”
As u/axolotl_peyotl elaborates in the comments:

“The conspiracy theorists and the narrative swallowers have completely switched roles… When the official story is more unhinged and insane than the wildest conspiracy theory, then you know their disinformation campaign has been complete.”

And the disinformation campaign is working, perhaps better than they could have ever imagined or hoped for. But, I think that we can harness and utilise the research being done here, and I would like to explore methods to get this information out of our echo chamber, and into the hearts and minds of those who really need to hear it.
So here we go. Some philosophy, a lot of facts, and hopefully, a plan of action. I hope you find this information helpful, and I hope you’ll join me in trying to maximize the effectiveness of our words and actions.

It’s All Coming True

Like it or not, the New World Order is coming, it’s coming now, and it’s coming fast. It is a global behemoth, decades in planning, with the whole of the world’s resources and financial backing, and I assure you, it is an unstoppable tide. I say this not to sow defeatism, but simply as a realist.
Stop and read this excellent recent column from u/yellowsnow2 before proceeding:
★ You won't understand anything currently going on if you don't understand the long running, admitted to, conspiracy to create a one world government ruled over by the bankers and oligarchs.
The time for rebellion was long ago. And let’s face it, we really have tried. Occupy. Arab Spring. The Hong Kong Riots. Yellow Vests. The people were almost making some headway too, before the Plandemic™ was rolled out, like metaphorical tear gas. And now, of course, we’re all locked in our homes, and shouting from the rooftops to anyone that will listen that we’re on a slippery slope, only to be met with mockery from our friends and family.
The 50+ year propaganda effort has paid off. They have the hearts and minds of the populace, consumed with fear and panic. And it will be a hugely uphill battle to try to awaken anyone at this point.

“You have to understand. Most people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured and so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it.”-Morpheus

But, I think there are methods that can be used to try to broach these topics gently, so as to not rustle people’s comfortable mental existences too much all at once. Remember “The Slow Walk.” If a large, unexpected piece of information is given suddenly, people tend to react poorly and irrationally. Also known as "letting them down easily," this technique can prevent the audience from balking or being overwhelmed.

Another method that I’ve been trying to use is to simply examine and point out trends, likelihood, and other phenomena that have organically grown and developed within the zeitgeist.
Who am I to make any assertions? I'm not a prophet or even an expert. I’m a fat, alcoholic keyboard warrior, and I bet you are too (sorry not sorry, lol). But, I know how to do research, uncover patterns, and collect and present information in a coherent manner.
You all do too; you learned it in grade school. And although I haven’t done a “proper” research paper in about 2 decades, it’s all coming back to me pretty quickly.
If we simply focus on putting together overwhelming amounts of evidence, of things that are already happening - perhaps things people have already heard a bit about - in a coherent manner without any political bias (this part is crucial), it’s a whole lot easier to get people to take notice.
I have also tried hard to use sources from MSM, and whenever possible from a variety of “reputable” sources, with varying political slants, to try to present information to the unconscious in a way that is familiar and comfortable to them.
“But the MSM is biased! There are lots of alternative sources doing great research and speaking the real truth!”
Yes, but when in Rome. You have GOT to meet these people on their own playing field. And you have to play nice. If you can get them comfortable with the gateway drug (MSM), when you eventually present more inflammatory alternative sources to them, they may not be so resistant.

Allowing the “Plandemic” to Happen

Whether man-made, lab accident, or freak of nature, we’re all more or less in agreement that the powers that be coordinated and allowed this pandemic to occur globally. And we are also pretty much in agreement that this is “the big one,” being used to truly roll out the New World Order. So let’s move away from conjecture and focus on facts.
So, what do we know?

We know TPTB knew about it for a long time before informing the public, and taking action.
We know it was here a lot earlier than we were told.
We know the numbers are incredibly wrong and change daily.

For some incredibly clear math on the numbers that you can cut, paste, and share, please read this excellent recent post by u/OB1_kenobi:

And now, we have a highly visible, MSM admission that the numbers were massively overstated from the very beginning. This video (although the narrator is a liiiitle over-the-top) is a must watch:
★ Government And Media Have Massively Overestimated The Fatality Rate For Covid-19
Stop trying to tell people the government did this to them on purpose; they’re never going to believe you. Instead, simply explain to them how their incompetent, corrupt government stood by and let this happen, because that’s something that everyone can get behind.
We’re also being told, of course, that this is all being done to protect the poor and the elderly, the most vulnerable members of society. This of course is utter horse shit, they have never given a shit about the old and the poor.

The Slow Walk, Part 2

(More on the “slow walk” in my previous essay, “From Conspiracy to Fact: An analysis of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Information Control, and the New World Order”)

It has been a long road to get where we are now, and it has been all but unexpected. Rather, they have been telling us openly of their plans to do this for years. And they have systematically rolled out more and more draconian measures to achieve these goals, damn the human cost.
Again, please consider: If they had come right out in February and announced a national lockdown and a mandatory vaccine, people would have rioted. So instead the lockdown was slow-walked, as the angry people on the television ramped up their fearmongering and rhetoric. One day it’s “suggested” you stay inside, and now a few short weeks later, people are reporting their neighbors to the police through the officially-sanctioned state snitch hotlines for being “quarantine violators.”
I have seen so many calls for violence in comment threads. People saying things ranging from “lock them up,” to “they should be tried for murder,” all the way to “they should be shot on sight.” I know you all have too. It’s terrifying the way they have turned the people against each other. But of course, it’s all by design.
The goal is to stoke fear, turn neighbors on each other, and most importantly, make your fellow man into an “other.” This is one of their key strategies.
I wrote a different, short theory post recently, about the dehumanizing effects of facemasks. I don’t know if I believe it was intentional at first, but I think there is something to be said for the practice creating both anonymity and simultaneous otherness.

Perhaps. But we don’t need to even go that far with the thought. Simply dehumanizing people in each other’s eyes and making them suspicious of each other is a great result. It breaks people down psychologically and lessens our tendencies to trust each other and band together.
And who wants to band together anyway? Many people are delighted to be at home with their families, and the rest of them are terrified of even seeing another person.

The most brilliant part of the plan is that they didn’t even really need traditional Martial Law, all of this was achieved simply by stoking fear through inflammatory rhetoric, and urgent, bright red infographics. And now, even if the restrictions are lifted, many people are already too afraid of things to go back to normal. They'll be afraid forever:

It’s never really going to be over. So much of it is here to stay. Do you think they’re going to take the plexiglas shields back down? Do you think they’re going to stop controlling admission to grocery stores and other public spaces? Do you think they’re just going to disable and stop using all the police drones, temperature checks, and tracking measures?
Remember, citizens, and repeat after me: “THE NEW NORMAL!”

Hello again, my fellow truth-seekers. I sincerely appreciate the overwhelmingly positive response I got to my last essay, and have been encouraged to continue my research.
If you haven’t read my previous piece, “From Conspiracy to Fact: An analysis of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Information Control, and the New World Order,” I highly encourage you to do so before reading this article, as it lays the philosophical groundwork for some of the topics I will discuss today. I tried very hard to make it non-biased, as well as to focus primarily on facts and research about things that have already happened, as opposed to conjecture about the future. I hope you find it helpful.
In this new essay, I want to build on many of the topics that many other users have written about recently. FFS why can't all these manufacturers just test each lot for lead/cadmium/arsenic, not sell the lot if has concerning levels, and make this information publicly available?

Hey Abbot, Enfamil, The Honest Co., Happy Baby, 365 Organic, Plum Organics, Silicon Valley startup disruptors -- if any of you can do that, you can have my baby formula money!

I don't need you to go on about how "We are committed to minimizing environmental and industrial contaminants within our products." Just show me some test results.

Baby formula in the US has no federal limits for heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium.

C'mon FDA, why are you asleep at the wheel? They've been sitting on doing anything about for arsenic in baby food since almost starting to maybe think about doing something in 2016. There are datasets from the FDA and consumer reports on baby food testing, but I don't see formula included.

There is no known level of lead that is safe.
5 ppb is the EPA actionable limit for water.

You can see the test results but the samples are anonymized. Some of the samples were above 5 ppb, some are above 20 ppb.

I disagree with snopes that this data needs to be published in a peer review journal.
Look, it's testing, not research. I can go to my water board and get test results. I can ask to see any restaurant's health inspection records. I do agree I'd like to see which brand / which levels / what from a third party accredited testing agency.

However, the clean label project samples did not seem like a hatchet job -- some samples from different products the same brands were well-rated, some poorly rated.

I still have some formula of my last container of Earth's Best so I may send it in to a lab for testing.

Anyways, if anyone has any better info on lead testing in general, prop 65 testing for lead in formula, or formula manufacturers quality control practices, I'd love to hear.

For now I am slowly backing away from rabbit hole.
