I’m pretty sure my next hardware buy will be an SP404 as whilst I’m not totally averse to DAWs, I prefer DAWless. Very much a hobby/budget level.

- After watching a video on how to connect a midi keyboard to the Korg NTS1 I went ahead and purchased the 5 pin cable to 3.5 jack. So I was looking at midi keyboard/controllers that only have 5 pin midi outs on them. Are there other connecting options/adapters and if so do they cause any issues?
- Videos I stumble across talk about mapping your endless encoders to parameters in midi devices. (Examples being plug ins and my strymon nigtsky). Are these routed thus: midi keyboard/controller - Mac - device? Can I connect a keyboard/controller directly to an iPad app?
- Any recommendations for any specific keyboard/controllers? My budget is up to 300 dollars or so.

So as an almost entirely solo/duo player I do quite appreciate the attempts of making world events less of a hassle for smaller crews. I must make this very clear because I think world events being more active and more frequently done now that you realistically don't need to take either an hour to do them or have 3-4 players on it at once is a fantastic change.
That being said, this is a pirate game, people are going to be pirates, and with Season 9 I've noticed an increased amount of what I like to call "Poaching", which is the term I like to use when a larger crew (so 3-4 people) will forego doing a world event in favor of waiting for a smaller crew (usually a solo, sometimes a duo) to come by and do it "for them". Typically killing and sinking the smaller crew on or after the final wave. (To contrast with Tucking which is more sneaky sneaky and less "lol get 4v1'd scrub")
I've noticed a bit of an uptick in this and honestly it makes sense, why trigger the Ashen Lord in a Fort of Fortune when you can hide two or three islands away, wait for a solo player to do it, and then once you either see the cloud leave or signs of the Ashen Lord fight going on swoop in, kill them and sink their ship because in a matchup of equal skill "more pirates = more winning", and kill an easier version of the Ashen Lord if they haven't already?
What are your thoughts on this? Personally I just find it kinda funny this didn't come to Rare's mind with all the QoL changes.

The day before yesterday I went out with my scooter 🛴 around the park in the suburb there’s that one Cambodian Karen in a car almost run me off and I was too mad I just did a middle finger at them and so they began to chase me and start treating me and calling me names, they said that they will kill me and find my house address. Tho lucky I just let them finish their rent without retaliation and so they just left me alone tho before they leave they said that they will find my house. That’s not all tho yesterday I went on my scooter again this time to the city, I went to the local market all by myself and when I parked my scooter in the parking space and I went in the market just for a few minutes and when I got back my scooter is gone and it’s because the security drove my scooter off without my consent and after a couple minutes they came back and now they asked me for the fees like YOU just invaded my property and now you asked for the fees ?!? And so they threaten me for the money and I was too scared so I just gave them it…and in the end they dare to ask me for “ I thought you were a foreigner, what’s your race ” like excuse me ? And so I drove off without a word. And no didn’t told my parents because they’re a bi*ch. And as for my family is just Chaos, nowadays there is no sign of violence or abused ( physically atlest ) but it used to happened constantly before…tho I’m not going to get into detail with that because…it’s not easy for me to process it. But is the abused stop ? No it’s still here but just less after we went to a family therapy for countless of session till one day I decided to stop because I see nothing is drastically improving. And yes they are very emotionally abusive and I have to deal with them on a “daily basis” so I had enough.
