I've been trying to get coverage for my Ford Nova for so long that scammes just hang up now . So I think it's time to trade in for something new, and see how long it takes them the realize the make and model don't match. Maybe I'll trade in for a BMW Skyline or maybe a Cadillac Matador. I hear the Buick Edsel is not a badd vehicle. Any suggestions?

We have a 2011 Toyota Sienna with right at 150,000 miles. This thing has been Toyota reliable thus far. The wife would really like at some point to get something with leather interior, a backup cam, and some hands free capabilities.
Looking around I see that I could get one of: Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade ESV, model years 2013-2014 with 130,000-150,000 miles for about 20k.
I know these full size GM SUVs are pretty reliable and the 2013-2014 models are some of the best out there due to being the end of a generation (and data supports these have less issues).
What am I looking at risk wise here? I mean the sienna will have similar to more miles than what I would be getting into. I would think the risks of suspension, engine, and transmission wear would be similar. Are there any particular weak spots on the GM full size SUVs? I know the engines are generally considered reliable for these two years.

So a little backstory, back in February mom got into an accident, she’s not been the same since. A month after the accident, grandmother helped buy a car, the car she got has issues, frame is about snap in half, power steering fluid is leaking, and a few other things. The car she got into an accident with is trash as well, she figured that she could just get the headlight fixed and drive it as is but the frame is twisted, so that car is also trash (both of these cars mentioned is a 2007 Buick Rainier and a 2004 Buick Rainier). Grandmother bought a 2003 GMC Envoy XUV recently, mom fucking hates it cause it’s “too long”, anyway, ever since the Envoy was bought, she’s essentially hated it since day one. I’m just fucking tired of hearing about the bullshit, I’m about to snap at her and tell her that I personally do not give a single fuck. What do I do?

Here are all of the new US CHAdeMO (Leaf fast-charging) stations that rolled out in May 2023, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
There were 124 "new" CHAdeMOs added in May. To put it in perspective, there were 112 CHAdeMO chargers added in April. I think the pace of CHAdeMO rollout has stabilized, while the pace of CCS rollout is still increasing. This makes sense given that only Nissan still makes a CHAdeMO car.
Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshes," e.g. the provider replaced them with faster chargers etc. Some may be incorrect. This report is only as good as the Alternative Fuels Data Center data.
We all know that CHAdeMO is a legacy format and will eventually go away, but clearly Nissan and their partners are continuing to support it for the time being. This shouldn't be surprising. After all, you can still buy a new Leaf.
If you'd like to know about new chargers along your routes right away, or reading these monthly reports is just frustrating in your state, I've set up a free service that provides email notifications only when new stations actually open. The analytics company's annual vehicle dependability study found 186 problems per 100 vehicles on average, a slight improvement from last year’s score of 192. I'm looking to custom-order a Chevrolet Bolt from a dealer that participates in the NYS $2000 EV rebate. As per the nyserda.ny.gov website, these are the participating dealerships.
Update - June 7 I went to Arnolds yesterday to place an order. All went well until they informed me that I needed to put down a $1000 non-refundable deposit and they don't take credit cards. I'm okay with the deposit but getting that cash when tellers are closed was impossible. It would have been nice if they had mentioned it when making the appointment with me.
I'm going back today to place the order. At the time of delivery, I'll pay MSRP for the options that I want, plus the standard Tax, Tags, Title, and registration fee. The only dealer-added fee is the ~$180 document fee.
The dealer did mention that the $2000 NYS EV rebate is only available while the program is funded. If funding runs out before my Bolt arrives, I'll have to pay the full price or forfeit my $1000 deposit.
