I am a little new to the Cosmere, as I just started reading in January, though after finishing Tress today I am officially caught up(with the exception of reading White Sands). With that being said I have decided to theory craft!! Please note that as I am new, I am unsure if I am restating old thoughts, and I don't know many WOB.
Theory: The Shards are unoriginal in designing their magic systems, each has a pre-shattering origin.
Taldain/ Autonomy: Having not read white sands I will be brief in discussing, Sandmastery. Through my limiting understanding, practitioners of sand mastery can use water to cause a chain reaction of sudden growth, energy, and Realmatic transition; this reaction can be controlled using a brief cognitive bond. This is very close to the use of the primal Aethers seen in Tress and TLM. The Primal Aethers are known to be pre-shattering and are the likely template Autonomy used.
Nalthis/Endowment: In the case of Breaths, the Dawnshards seem a likely template. Both Breaths and the Dawnshards are forms of investiture that can be held by a person or object. In awakening, the user says a Command and then gives Intent by picturing it. In the cause of the Dawnshards, the command is innate to the investiture, and it is believed that the intent comes from the use of other investiture. The Dawnshards also give Heighting effects.
Scadrial/ Allomancer Jak: Throughout the Cosmere, metals seem to be important and have universal effects on investiture. This is demonstrated by the effects metals have in fabrials, as well as in the tools Sprouters use. (steel push, iron pull) It is likely that Preservation observed these natural phenomena and used that as a scaffold for Allomancy. The connection is looser for Feruchemy and hemalurgy. Sel and the Shardless worlds: Merciful Domi!! We see a large variety of magic systems of Sel, and some on shard-less worlds. I believe that these worlds have some of the first and only 'organic' magic systems in the Cosmere post-shattering.
What are your thoughts? Do you think it is a coincidence that the magic on the Shard worlds looks like pre-Shattering systems? What do you believe the broader implications are of this?

Many ZMI members are trying to get their hands on some extra essence by waylaying outsiders trying to use the Ourania Altar, but Herbert may have a better idea.
His travels in the more civilized parts of Gielinor have seen him acquainted with many adventurers with more pure essence than they can reasonably craft themselves and a voracious need for runes. He has decided to offer to sell these adventurers any quantity of runes, for the piecewise price of a few pure essence1 and a crafting fee2. The ZMI may even be willing to offer a discounted crafting fee for bulk orders3, bringing it down to the current price of buying rune packs from shops.

I a Hispanic male in the US am somewhat Christian. I would like to ask out this girl in my classes and after school programs to prom I have the whole asking part down. However I from previous research realized I have a big problem she wears a hijab this doesn’t bother me in the slightest however I do know that the hijab is from Islamic and Muslim practices. And those cultures can have very strict rules when it comes to dating or even interacting with men. Again I’m open to learn about it as I was before to know this but I don’t have enough time to find this information through her because prom is in 28 days and I have a 30 min window to talk to her 5 days a week. So I need advise preferably from other Islamic or Muslim people however beggars can’t be choosers. I’m stuck between just asking her out right then on a card writing my number and a message saying “I understand there my be some rules or practices I don’t know or understand but I’m open to learning and would be honored to do so.” Or just giving her my number vaguely then texting her about prom and my openness to work out the process with her. But I can’t decide so I ask you the fair people of DA I beg for your opinion.

Okay, hear me out.
Episode 6 revealed quite a few new things about the Ever After. While the Curious Cat previously painted a grand view of Ascension, Jaune offers a far more cynical take on it. Ascension is not some deep, magical thing. It is the Tree chewing you out, taking everything that is you, and spitting you out when you have nothing left.
For Jaune, the Ever After is not some magical wonderland. It is a feeding ground for an eldritch tree, and the Cat is the agent of the tree. The Cat, the Tree, and the whole Ever After are fundamentally wrong, and Jaune uses the fate of Lewis to justify this belief.
As viewers, we can tell Jaune doesn't have the whole story. We can see the gaps Jaune can't. This is made particularly obvious because Alice in Wonderland was written by Lewis Carol. Everyone keeps assuming Alyx got out of the Ever After and wrote her story, but from a watcher's perspective, it is far more likely that Lewis is the one who got out and wrote the tale in honor of his sister.
This matters because it is very possible that Jaune is operating under very misguided misconceptions. Jaune keeps thinking Ascension and the Tree are bad things, but from what we have seen so far, I don't think that's the case. In the opening for this volume, we see the Rusted Knight appear as the book of Alyx's story burns and everything is engulfed in flames. Then, for the first time in RWBY's history, the opening evolves this episode. We no longer see the ominous Rusted Knight but Jaune without his helmet, making the visual considerably less ominous.
But what if that's a fake out? What if Jaune is still meant ominous?
Jaune claims he has a plan. What if Jaune's plan is to kill the tree and, with it, the whole Ever After? And some of you will probably think that's too over the top for Jaune, but Jaune has been trapped in the Ever After for at least a decade if not two or three. Jaune very clearly has not dealt with Penny's death. That he still wields his broken sword and that he sees her reflection in the Ponderstorm says as much.
So yeah, normal Jaune wouldn't do this. But Jaune is not in his right mind. Jaune's clearly carrying a lot of baggage that he hasn't dealt with for years. From Jaune's perspective, he'd be freeing an entire dimension from an eldritch being, but his actions might cause the whole Ever After to collapse.
In other words, it might be Jaune, not Neo or the Jabberwalk, who might be RWBY's final boss in the Ever After.
Now, some of you are probably thinking I am leaning too much on one side. Jaune = Wrong about everything. Cat and Tree = Totally good. I'm doing for the sake of the argument. There is room for a more nuanced discussion, but I want to push the idea of Jaune possibly being the Big Bad of this volume.

Episode 6 revealed quite a few new things about the Ever After. While the Curious Cat previously painted a grand view of Ascension, Jaune offers a far more cynical take on it. Ascension is not some deep, magical thing. It is the Tree chewing you out, taking everything that is you, and spitting you out when you have nothing left.
For Jaune, the Ever After is not some magical wonderland. It is a feeding ground for an eldritch tree, and the Cat is the agent of the tree. The Cat, the Tree, and the whole Ever After are fundamentally wrong, and Jaune uses the fate of Lewis to justify this belief.
As viewers, we can tell Jaune doesn't have the whole story. We can see the gaps Jaune can't. This is made particularly obvious because Alice in Wonderland was written by Lewis Carol. Everyone keeps assuming Alyx got out of the Ever After and wrote her story, but from a watcher's perspective, it is far more likely that Lewis is the one who got out and wrote the tale in honor of his sister.
This matters because it is very possible that Jaune is operating under very misguided misconceptions. Jaune keeps thinking Ascension and the Tree are bad things, but from what we have seen so far, I don't think that's the case. It's only been a few days since some interesting GTA VI gameplay was leaked. The leak, which was authenticated by Rockstar Games, confirmed the location to be Vice City, and that there would be male and female protagonists. Some eagle-eyed viewers noticed something about GTA Online, though. What they found was an art asset that seemed quite familiar. A texture asset specifically.

The original tweet no longer displays the side by side imagery, unfortunately. The Arena War Update for Grand Theft Auto Online was release four years ago after all. While this is interesting, it is not uncommon for developers to re-use assets, especially if there isn't a significant change to the artwork. Asset re-use can shorten development time in most cases and it is not limited to video games. Many people are familiar with the "Pixar Easter Eggs" in that film studio's pieces. It's an excellent way to not waste development cycles on things like debris and common texture work that is repeated throughout the virtual worlds -- whether in games or movies.
It is also not uncommon for Rockstar to hide Easter eggs in their games that may reference other games in the same series, or different titles altogether. Bully even included a Grand Theft Auto vehicle asset in its shop class. Sometimes the developers just throw in things to drive community interest, such as the inclusion of Bigfoot in a later patch of GTA V. Another fun Easter egg is known as the "Mount Chiliad Mystery." When it was found, players suspected it meant there was a jetpack somewhere in GTA V -- there wasn't -- but one eventually appeared in a GTA Online Mission

Still, this particular metro logo was not seen until GTA Online, and now in the unauthorized leak, so in a way, players had confirmation Vice City would be used in GTA VI, if they were paying attention and connected the dots.

Pelo que entendi, o "acto de colocar o PPR como escolha para usufruir os benefícios fiscais" é simplesmente preencher na declaração os dados do PPR aquando da entrega do IRS. e no caso de ter 2 PPRs, retirar ou não declarar o segundo. Sei que se usufruir de benefícios fiscais o resgate do PPR tem a agravante de devolução dos mesmos + 10% por ano se for feito antes do tempo ou fora das condições legalmente previstas. Se não usufruir de benefícios fiscais e o resgate for feito antes dos 5 anos p.e, a taxa será de 21,5%.
Para este caso prático imaginem que amanhã faço 2 PPRs , 2k em cada, e digamos que um deles será para usufruir do benefício fiscal e o outro não.

So just over 2 years ago I received a pair of Sennheiser True Wireless Earbuds as a gift, they retail around 300 dollars. One of the earbuds failed after about 9 months and I sent it in for warranty repair. The earbuds come with a 2 year warranty according to the Sennheiser website.
The replacement pair I received lasted for another 9 months, then also failed. I once again sent it in for warranty repair and received what appeared to be a refurbished set of earbuds.
These lasted just over 6 months, and once again one of them died. Unfortunately this was just past the 2 year date from the original purchase and the company is refusing to honor any sort of repair or replacement as they are now "out of warranty" despite being the 3rd set I've had fail on me.
Is there any additional recourse available to have these repaired/replaced? ie any sort of lemon law/consumer protection law that I am missing. I understand if there isn't, and will certainly never buy a Sennheiser product again, but I'd like to get at least another 6 months use out of this pricey product.

I am also very passionate about community service and received the US congressional gold medal (highest honor for youth in US) and have over 1000 hours of service over last several years and am featured in several media as well. I am not sure where to start with research on colleges where service is given importance so I can continue in college and on campus?
