How true or overblown is this? I´ve heard 2 things frequently in (online) occult spaces. Namely;
1) If you don´t know "who" to work with, do some research and pick the deity you feel pulled/attracted towards
2) Working with Saturn inevitably brings negative energies and can lead to injury, sickness and even death.
I, like many of you I´m sure, have always gravitated towards the Saturnine current. But I have never engaged in any sort of ritual practice to strengthen that bond because I hear time and time again that working with Saturn is dangerous and should only be done (if at all) if you are an experienced magician. I have honestly really heard this so often. For example in Bardon´s evocation book, he advises against working with Saturn altogether, and says if you must, be very careful. Other authors urge a wealth of experience under your belt, others recommend taking "the necessary precautions".
At what point do you consider yourself experienced enough to work with Saturn? What are the "necessary precautions"? Do authors just say these things to scare away neophytes (I don´t feel so)? I have read about the occult for years and just want to start getting my hands dirty so to speak, but I´m honestly just not really interested in working with any other deity than the Saturn one. Am I going to get a loved one killed or something if I made a devotional shrine to him? Incessant vivid nightmares? Schizophrenia? Perhaps you´re knowledgeable on the subject and think what I just said is ridiculous but bare in mind this is literally the impression that multiple writers and practitioners give you.

I’m a software engineer and been working professionally since 2019.
I switched companies every 1 year so far for many different reasons. It seems like switching every year gives off a bad impression but I am thinking about switching. I understand the current state of tech and our economy.

So I need to vent…I’ve passed everything BUT Math. This literally feels like a brick wall down my alley. I had the confidence , energy to study & pass the test. I passed Science, Language Arts & Social Studies within 19 days (2 weeks & 5 days). Of course I did fail Science once which was on 04/21 but retook it on 05/03. It’s like once I got to the Math I slowly started struggling more & more. I haven’t taken the real test for Math at all. I’ve only taken the practice test on 05/23 scored a 139. Then I started to study less, lose confidence & just feel like I can’t grasp the material. I’m using Test Prep Champions, Light & Salt Learning & GetSumMath. I’ve tried in the beginning of the year to enroll in a GED class online because I can’t attend in person that was such a waste & didn’t help at all I ended up leaving before the classes even ended. I just feel STUCK. Like this is going to hold me back from accomplishing what I’ve been afraid to do my whole life since I dropped out at 15 years old. I had my countdown or timeline set up for July 22nd but now…idk anymore I’m stressed. Then to top it off I don’t have a consistent sleep schedule. I do have a alarm set for when I’m supposed to study (every weekday) yet I tend not to study. Idk what’s going on with me…

So I need to vent…I’ve passed everything BUT Math. This literally feels like a brick wall down my alley. I had the confidence , energy to study & pass the test. I passed Science, Language Arts & Social Studies within 19 days (2 weeks & 5 days). Of course I did fail Science once which was on 04/21 but retook it on 05/03. It’s like once I got to the Math I slowly started struggling more & more. I haven’t taken the real test for Math at all. I’ve only taken the practice test on 05/23 scored a 139. Then I started to study less, lose confidence & just feel like I can’t grasp the material. I’m using Test Prep Champions, Light & Salt Learning & GetSumMath. I’ve tried in the beginning of the year to enroll in a GED class online because I can’t attend in person that was such a waste & didn’t help at all I ended up leaving before the classes even ended. I just feel STUCK. Like this is going to hold me back from accomplishing what I’ve been afraid to do my whole life since I dropped out at 15 years old. I had my countdown or timeline set up for July 22nd but now…idk anymore I’m stressed. Then to top it off I don’t have a consistent sleep schedule. I do have a alarm set for when I’m supposed to study (every weekday) yet I tend not to study. Idk what’s going on with me…

Ik kinda of a weird question, but I plan to go into the drone flying industry and soon going to by a laptop to get an online class to do so as recommended by some recently
But the choice of laptop as me concerned since I've been told laptops like Mac may not have the same support for things like Windows does. And a MacBook air is what my price range is rn aswell, some say it's the best but in the future if it doesn't work out for flying drones I might kick my own ass.
