2023.03.27 03:11 LiquidLispyLizard The MCU and the SSU: How I think it all ties together within the next ten years.
After the new rumor from Cosmic Circus of Kingpin, Mr. Negative, Kraven, and Scorpion appearing in Spider-Man 4 came out, I think I finally get what Sony's doing with their long term plan. I realize this isn't generally popular among MCU or SSU fans since most I come across on both sides seem to want to keep the two completely separate, and this whole write-up may very well not be what they're planning at all because it's basically all rumors at this point, but just from the latest developments we've heard, both through rumors and official sources, this is what I can personally piece together. Keep in mind, I may word some or all of this in a definitive sense, but I don't know what Sony's actually doing and this is only my theory. Be aware: this will probably be a very long read.
* Kraven the Hunter (October 6, 2023) - More or less, outside of a few references to Venom and Morbius here and there, Kraven's probably gonna be a standalone movie, much like its SSU predecessors. The real tie-in comes in the post-credits scene, following up on Morbius (2022), where Morbius and/or Vulture come to recruit Kraven to their team, who have followed his actions during the movie off-screen, either through the news or otherwise, promising "the hunt of a lifetime" in reference to the MCU's Spider-Man (I think Vulture makes more sense here just because of his actual connection to MCU Spidey, but if they can't get Keaton back, I imagine they'd just get Leto to fill in. That version may not flow as well as the Vulture one, but we did all see the Morbius post-credits scenes, lol.)
* Madame Web (February 16, 2024) - Madame Web, I think is the first SSU-set film that could really set things up outside of just post-credits scenes due to the nature of the character and how she relates to the Multiverse. If rumors are to be believed and this movie introduces Ezekiel and the Spider-Totems (I apologize ahead of time because the Totems are something I've never really been familiar with in Spider-Man lore, so I may be uninformed during parts of this), I believe this movie is critical in setting up the overall endgame for Sony's plans, but more on that later. It's also rumored to feature Mary Parker carrying an unborn Peter Parker in a 2000's setting and this plot-point may be further expanded on by Venom 3 (explained after this). By the end of the movie (again in the post-credits scene probably, lol), either Webb will be confronted by Vulture and his team of Morbius and Kraven or the other way around, but somehow, someway, she is the vehicle that transports those three to the MCU, either via Vulture being the only one to go back and Morbius and Kraven accidentally being brought along somehow or Webb being threatened by the three and her being forced to transport them.
* Venom 3 (2024) - I don't expect this one to have any kind of huge ties to anything else to come after it, but I do think it can follow up on Madame Web pretty well. There was a rumor a while back (can't remember where, sorry) that mentioned how Venom 3 would see Eddie and Venom transported back to the SSU from the MCU and now on some kind of mission to hunt down his universe's version of Spider-Man. When he finds him, he learns he's basically just a kid grown up after being born in the 2000's in Madame Web (If Venom 3 takes place when it actually releases, that'll place it in 2024. If SSU's Peter Parker is born in the late 2000's, maybe early 2010's, let's say, that could place him at around 14/15.). With all that, Eddie has to end up protecting him from Toxin, they fight, he beats him, roll credits. Even if the actual film's story is completely different from this and doesn't even feature child Peter, I don't expect it to change the rest of what I'm theorizing, if anything, at all, because I don't think this version of Venom will factor into things again until much later down the road, especially Hardy decides to truly call it quits after this one.
* MCU Spider-Man 4 (July/December 2025) - This is where som things I mentioned before are finally paid off. As we all heard that CC rumor I mentioned in the beginning, I think at this point, Spider-Man 4 follows up on whatever happens in Daredevil: Born Again and sees Kingpin assemble and fund a team consisting of Scorpion (who I theorize has already been in contact with Fisk for a while now), Mr. Negative (who is one of Scorpion's "boys on the outside" mentioned in Homecoming), and a revamped Shocker. It's at this point that Vulture had already returned to the MCU with Morbius and Kraven, he's met up with Scorpion again, and basically merges their two teams together, forming the Sinister Six. I don't think the Multiverse will play a large role in this movie, despite Morbius and Kraven both hailing from another universe. For the most part, this could quite literally be played off as those two just being associated with Vulture from the last time we've seen him. Basically, that's the crux of the crossover and the film is mainly Sinister Six-focused. I also expect MCU Miles Morales to be introduced in order to establish his relationship with Peter and for himself to become a Spider-Man later on in this overall saga. In a post-credits scene, Peter ends up bonding with the remaining Venom symbiote left behind at the end of No Way Home. In another scene, I could see Madame Web showing up to take Morbius and Kraven back to the SSU.
* Various other SSU projects and spinoffs (2025-?) - It's at this point, I think that Sony's gonna just go for it in terms of releasing SSU projects. Maybe they get one or two out before MCU Spider-Man 4, depending on the July or December release, but for the most part, I see them going forward with movies like El Muerto, Hypno-Hustler, maybe that Sydney Sweeney Spider-Woman movie, Jessica Drew, so on and so forth, as well as their shows like Silk, Spider-Man Noir, and probably a few more that will focus on other Spider-People after the release of Spider-Man 4. I imagine these will be sprinkled in throughout the years in between the upcoming Spider-Man and Avengers movies. If they're successful, they'll receive sequels and more seasons and potential spinoffs, if they're not, they'll go the way of Morbius and be one-offs. Regardless, as long as they have at least one appearance beforehand, I see all of these characters as being important in that I think all of them will factor into MCU Spider-Man 6's big finale crossover that I'll explain at the end.
* Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars (2026 and/or later) - MCU Spider-Man, now wearing the black suit, will probably feature heavily in at least one of these films, but I don't expect them to factor into what Sony's doing since this is mainly the MCU's big projects. I also don't expect The Kang Dynasty to keep its current May 2, 2025 date, so that'll move it past MCU Spider-Man 4. Tobey and Andrew, I could see both appearing in Secret Wars and doing their thing, but I don't see them factoring into Sony's plans too much until the very end, that is, if they both make it out of TKD and SW alive, but I suspect they will due to what I think Sony's building towards.
* MCU Spider-Man 5 (after Secret Wars) - I see this film as being the one where, after Spidey has wrestled with the symbiote on and off during the Avengers movies, he's realized it's become a problem and he needs to get rid of it somehow. Long story short, he does, and it bonds to Mac Gargan, who was beaten at the end of Spider-Man 4. Since this symbiote is technically a spawn of the SSU's Venom, much like how Carnage was, I envision this version of Venom being inherently evil and much more of a monster than the one we've seen bonded to Eddie, which fits well with Mac Gargan's revenge arc he goes through in the movie. But because Spidey is who he is, he beats Gargan's Venom, the symbiote's either contained or gone at that moment, everybody lives happily ever after, you get the point. Miles Morales also returns in this and at some point discovers that Peter is Spider-Man. The post credits scene involves Miles Morales being bitten by a spider and realizing what that entails.
* MCU Spider-Man 6 - Well, this is it, this is what the past however many years have been building to and the ultimate endgame of Sony's plans to this point and it's far simpler to explain than most other projects on this list. Someone like Morlun or Knull or any large, potentially Multiverse-ending character is the main villain in this, probably having something to do with the Spider-Totems established in Madame Web (again, I know nothing about these, lol). This means that literally everything Spider-Man ever factors into this movie. MCU Spider-Man's the lead, of course, and he's been working with Miles Morales and helping him become Spider-Man alongside him since the last film and, at this point, Madame Web is the one to kind of bring everyone together to save the Multiverse: MCU Peter and Miles, Tobey, Andrew, Hardy's Venom with a grown up version of his Spider-Man (depending on if Venom 3 goes that way), every other SSU lead we've seen up to this point, possibly the animated Spider-Verse stuff, maybe certain Spidey villains left over in the MCU, Tobey's, and Andrew's universes, as well. Basically, this is just a colossal crossover and a love-letter to every corner of Spider-Man's multiverse over what would possibly be 3 decades at this point. There's a big sacrifice at the end from Holland's Spidey (and maybe Tobey and Andrew as well, though Holland's I feel would be the most important one), the main villain's defeated, and the Multiverse is set right once again. Following this, MCU Miles Morales fully embraces his title as Spider-Man and swings off into the sunset, becoming the main MCU Spider-Man who leads his own films going forward.
Okay, so I know that was a long read (I did warn you, lol) and I realize that some or maybe all of this is wrong, but that's the fun of theorizing, so I hope nobody takes this incredibly serious, it's just one possible route Sony's taking with their future plans. I hope you did enjoy reading it, though, it took me like an hour to write all this out and longer than that to think it up, but this was fun, so thank you for taking time out of your day to swing by and check this out!

2023.03.27 02:53 Odd-Blueberry1696 The "cyber theft" program in the United States
The NSA has a comprehensive plan to find venues for various colleges and universities, and teams of hacker communities growing up in the United States are looking for venues. The NSA's focus is on colleges and universities within the United States. In 2011, the CIA made its open source center public, and recruited people were hired by the government to "analyze" websites to obtain information related to U.S. government targets — meaning tracking down the targets of government attacks on certain websites.
The surveillance and theft methods of American agents are diverse. Not only are surveys conducted on the Internet and interacted as anonymous people through targeted posts, but they are also deployed to roam the streets at home and abroad, monitoring newspapers and other print media to extract useful information about public groups
Under the guise of conducting business intelligence (i.e., cyber espionage), U.S. agents deploy open source software to collect digital data from targets; including all Facebook posts, Twitter posts, and comments on website threads. At the same time, people monitoring this data can interact with online users through an anonymous portal. Agents are designated to conduct surveillance operations, send messages to anyone, analyze political and religious speech, assess trends and conduct electronic eavesdropping through cell phones, satellites and other digital devices.

2023.03.27 01:20 emizzle6250 I (F 25) with a BS in Computer Science am looking for my first salary job
I got my BS back in 2020 during the pandemic and I didn’t get any internships.
I have tried the Thinkful bootcamp but because of mental health and financial limitations I did not complete it in time and did not get any job assistance. So I have no ‘real world’ experience but I have a 4 year degree and over 40 repositories on Git Hub. I truly do understand so much about coding but do poorly on interviews and have a weak resume since the work I have been doing since college is unrelated, like serving and tutoring. What can I actually do?
I’ve heard work on open source projects ? Does anyone know any recruiters I can talk to directly or maybe I am better off becoming a recruiter? I am going to be jobless soon and looking for another serving position for the time being but it makes me really upset that I am having a hard time making more that $20/hr I don’t blame anyone but myself I know it’s been a while but I don’t want to give up and I don’t want my degree to be a waste of time, I have a truly fundamental understanding of programming but I’m not the strongest coder, and with consistent practice I do produce pretty good results.
At this point I’ll be someone’s assistant I just am tired of living with my parents and being in debt and never having enough money. I want to move within a year ? ANY ADVICE more than ‘ridicule’ like actual solutions.
I want freedom so bad, I don’t feel free

2023.03.27 01:12 Technical_Donut7450 UCI (CS w/ Regents Scholarship) or UCLA (Math of Computation)
Hello, I'm having trouble deciding where to commit to and I would love for some input from you guys. Thank you!
UCI Pros - CS major
- Has its own school for CS (not in the engineering school like other universities) so I don't have to take classes like physics
- Regents Scholarship
- 5k/year (20k for 4 years)
- 4 year on-campus housing guarantee
- Priority enrollment (better class times/professors/more freedom in schedule for projects maybe?)
- Funding for study abroad
- Less competitive maybe
Cons - Less prestigious compared to UCLA overall so maybe less recruitment/opportunities
- Worse networking
- Might be socially dead
UCLA Pros - More prestigious compared to UCI overall so maybe better recruitment/opportunities
- Better networking
- Better social life and more fun
- Better food
Cons - Not actually a CS major, it's more like a Math major + CS minor
- I actually wouldn't mind doing higher level math bc I really like math, but I'd rather learn more about CS than math proofs
- Idk how this major will fare for internships/jobs
- Wouldn't get the benefits of Regents Scholarship
- I can change my major to CS with a 3.5 GPA, but idk if that's feasible and how hard the grading/curriculum is considering I have almost no coding experience
- I've had straight As all throughout high school with a heavy course load, but idk if college is gonna give me a much-needed reality check lol
- I'm willing to work hard to get a 3.5 GPA, but I kinda don't want that much stress my first 1-2 years of college
- I have to take classes like physics, but again I wouldn't mind learning about that stuff, it's just the time commitment of those classes
- More competitive maybe
- Will I even have a social life if I'm studying all day?
After writing my thoughts down, I think I'm leaning toward one school, but I'd still like other input for reaffirmation or to change my mind. Thank you!!!

2023.03.27 01:06 Nickname-CJ My 2023 Big Board 3.0(post March Madness)
The Final 4 is next week but most of the top prospects have finished their seasons. Overall this season we’ve seen this class somewhat drop off in terms of hype and production. But as per usual, we’ve seen some new faces rise up the boards.
Once again, these are just my thoughts and opinions. Gonna add a grade as well.
- Victor Wembanyama, F Metro92
Not much else to say. Likely the French league MVP and DPOY, 21/9/2 and 3blk on 47/30/83 splits. I have very high expectations for his rookie season.
Grade: 100
- Scoot Henderson, PG G-League Ignite
Seems that the media and talking heads are starting to turn on Scoot. He’s missed about half the season with a bunch of head injuries. But nonetheless, he is the goods. Nothing changed the fact that he’s elite and projects to be amazing going forward. But the gap between him and Vic has widened by quite a bit.
Grade: 96
- Brandon Miller, F Alabama
Miller has cemented himself in my top 3. His march performance hasn’t really deterred me much, considering he’s been playing through a groin injury. But over the season he’s improved on all his weaknesses, and during the SEC tournament shown a whole new dimension to his game with his passing. He has a legit nba skill with his shooting, and as he gets stronger should be more of a presence around the rim.
Grade: 94
- Amen Thompson, G OTE
I’ve talked myself back into the Thompson twin hype. I think there’s enough translatable skill that he can stick in the league whether the jumper really develops or not. But I trust the work ethic and character as well.
Grade: 93
- Ausar Thompson, G OTE
Him and Amen are essentially the same player to me. The differences are almost negligible. Amen has more hype around his name tho so he’ll get drafted earlier.
- Jarace Walker, F Houston
Walker stock is charting high right now. His versatility has been great all throughout the season. You can play him in a minimal role and he will excel, you can put the ball in his hands and he’ll be very effective as well. A lot to like. I could see him being a legit star caliber player in the right situation.
Grade: 92
- Nick Smith Jr, G Arkansas
Season went pretty poorly in almost every way. Got injured during training camp. Late debut and only got about 3 games to get in rhythm before going out with injury again. By the time he finally came back, it was the middle of SEC play and he was still battling a lingering knee problem. Regardless, he's shown enough for me to believe he still has all-star upside. His activity off the ball is really good, he moves into space well. His early games he controlled pace really well and always got to his spots with and without the ball. He's also active defensively which is great. I think the lack of production can really be put on his knee injury and his stock will rise during workouts.
Grade: 91
- Cam Whitmore, W/F Villanova
I think Cam has a pretty wide range of outcomes as a player. If a team believes he can be a star, they can put the ball in his hands and he might look similar to Jaylen Brown. If he plays with a really good PG, he can be a great cutter and spot up guy. He has good defensive potential on ball as well as a weakside shot-blocker.
Grade: 90
- Cason Wallace, G Kentucky
About as solid as it gets from a guard prospect. Elite defender with amazing instints. Plays within himself and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He's shown that he's a good shooter, which was a big swing skill for him. If he can add more creativity to his handle and shot creation, we could see him as high as 4 in a redraft.
Grade: 89
- Anthony Black, G Arkansas
Black has been great for a really poorly constructed Arkansas team. He kept the team going when Brazile and Nick went down. Shown he's capable as a driver and finisher, and I still don't think I've seen him miss a read all season. Excellent passer and a good defender. Will slot nicely as the future PG of a team.
Grade. 89
- Taylor Hendricks, F UCF
The ideal mold for the modern PF. 6'9 with long arms, pretty athletic and a good lob threat and shooter. Also a great shot blocker at the college level. Could be a great starter for a long time.
Grade: 87
- Keyonte George, G Baylor
About as inconsistent of a player as I've seen this year, Keyonte still has a great chance to a starting level scoring guard. But him being 6'3 and just a decent level athlete with his playstyle isn't ideal. He's a tough shot taker without the full shooting ability to be a tough shot maker. He still does other things pretty well. I think he'll find minutes early as a rookie.
Grade: 88
- Gradey Dick, W Kansas
It'll very interesting to see Gradey in Summer League. At Kansas he's been more than a pure shooter, but that was his main role. He finishes with creativity, great of ball mover, and a decent athlete. Looks like he's shaken off the " White Boy Shooter" label.
Grade: 87
- Jordan Hawkins, G UCONN
His team is still making a fun for the National Title as we speak. Jordan Hawkins might be the best off-ball guard prospect I've ever seen. He's got the prettiest shooting stroke, it's very quick and he also gets a lot of lift for a one-motion shot. It's borderline unguardable. He sprints off of screens like there's no tomorrow. He's also very good at attacking closeouts to get to the midrange area. Right now his finishing is average at best, but he's a surprisingly good athlete. I think we might legitimately be looking at another Klay Thompson level shooter. 14 might be way too low for him in hindsight.
Grade: 86
- Brice Sensabaugh, W Ohio State
Brice has one of the best scoring bags in this draft, if not the best. Elite production and efficiency as a freshman. His game resembles a guy like DeRozen, but with a really good 3pt shot. I think his defense isn't as awful as people think. He probably guards 3's in the nba. He's very sturdy and if he puts in more effort he can be at least passable on that end. But his ability to get buckets is really impressive.
Grade: 85
- Dereck Lively II, C Duke
Box score doesn't look very good, but his end of season for a Duke team that had won I believe 10 games in a row was awesome. He anchored the defense so well as a rim protector and shot blocker. He also does a good job keeping up when he has to guard on the perimeter and recovering at the rim. His offensive game never got put on display this season, as he had a pretty lackluster PG group. But he's a great vertical lob threat, and his jumper looks pretty comfortable and he might be able to stretch it out consistently in the nba. The success of Walker Kessler bodes well for guys like Lively.
Grade: 85
- GG Jackson, F South Carolina
Youngest player in college basketball, he was operating this season off pure talent alone. Because of how bad the team around him was, he ended up having the freedom to do whatever he wanted. He showed a lot of really good shot creating skills, but poor shot selection. I wonder how much he'll get the ball in his hands as a rookie. He can be good without the ball as well, but we just didn't see a whole lot of that.
Grade: 85
- Max Lewis, W Pepperdine
Max is another guy who slots in as a pretty versatile scoring wing. He started the season off blazing hot, but cooled off as the season went on as expected. His defense was pretty bad, but he has the tools to be very good, so it's more an effort thing than ability. I think he can still be picked in the lottery, preferably to a team with a real identity.
Grade: 84
- Jalen Hood-Schafino, G Indiana
I have mixed feelings about JHS. In HS I thought he looked like a top 3 PG in the country. He has great passing vision and had good delivery as well. In college he's taken on more of a scoring role. He's an average finisher and an okay 3pt shooter, and makes a lot of his money in the midrange. But that's not the most ideal skillset for a lead guard. He's 6'6 so he's got great positional size and it would be fine to play him as a 2 guard.
Grade. 84
- Kobe Buffkin, G Michigan
Former McDonald's All American, he's had a pretty good sophomore campaign. Very productive player. He scores really well on and off ball. Looks pretty solid as a combo guard. One thing I like is that he rebounds pretty well. We could see him as high as 12 on draft night.
Grade: 84
- Jett Howard, W Michigan
I'm curious how he's gonna measure out at the combine. He doesn't look like the 6'8 he's listed as. His shot creating skill looks really nice and so does his jumper. He looks like what I imagined Cam Reddish was going to look like a duke. But he doesn't really guard or rebound. He does to a good job playmaking sometimes.
Grade: 84
- Rayan Rupert, W NZ Breakers
Pretty much looks like Ousmane Dieng with longer arms. Project wing who can guard and ocasionally make plays. Probably spends most of his time in the G-League.
Grade: 83
- Sidy Cisoko, G/W G-League Ignite
The French goin crazy this draft cycle lol. Seems pretty similar to Anthony Black IMO. Probably not as skilled as a passer but more athletic. Could end up going a lot higher or lower.
- Dariq Whitehead, G/W Duke
I actually think there's a real chance Dariq stays another year. He's among the youngest players in college, and had a very injury riddled season, so he didn't really get to show us much of anything. If he puts his name in the draft, I think he'll go back to school unless he gets a top 15 promise. I think he's much much better than what we saw at Duke, but I do wonder if at best he's a jack of all trades, master of none.
Grade: 87
- Julian Strawther, W Gonzaga
Strawther has been great for the Zags in his 3 years. He provides great floor spacing and a good off ball scorer. A contender who needs a floor spacer would like him a lot.
Grade: 82
- Kris Murray, F Iowa
He's just Keegan but slightly worse at everything. Not as much of a creator either. Still good quality forward who can play on any team.
Grade: 82
- Trayce Jackson-Davis, F/C Indiana
Bigger Brandon Clarke? TJD is also a pretty good passer. If he had a legit jumper dude probably flies all the way into the top 10. Also maybe similar to Robert Williams?
Grade: 82
- Terquavion Smith, G NC State
Dude is a flamethrower. Definition of a microwave scorer. He's super similar to Bones Hyland in terms of build, skillset, and playstyle. Maybe more athletic tho. Would be higher if he didn't shoot 37% from the field.
Grade: 82
- Leonard Miller, F G-League Ignite
Tall dude with real ball skills. Need I say more? He's been GLI's most consistent player. Might be worth a pick higher than a late first.
Grade: 82
- Noah Clowney, F/C Alabama
I'm not sure what to make of Clowney. There's a lot that looks good at the college level, but I'm not sure how he translates to the nba. The way he plays, he should add a good 20lbs to be effective. If he can be a better ball handler and finisher that totally changes his outlook.
Grade: 80
Other interesting prospects Marcus Sasser- probably gets a guarunteed contract
Colby Jones- Good role player who does a lot of everything
Andre Jackson(!!)- Love this dude and I think he has great value as an EverythingExceptScore guy. Plus he has some wild throwdowns
James Nnaji- African Jalen Duren
Keyontae Johnson- Honestly could start as a rookie
Ryan Kalkbrenner- Big dude, block shot, move good, finish good
Kyle Filipowski- good rebounder and passer. Scores like he has no range of motion
Emoni Bates- It's Emoni Bates
Oso Ighodaro- Smaller and not as good TJD

2023.03.27 00:56 Wolfenritter How I Want Octopath Traveler 3 To Be
This is what happens when you have too much free time and want a game to continue forever. If I had any say, this would be how OT3 would look like. I am playing this sequel in my head. I just wanted to place this somewhere so I can get it out of my system. This would be what I would be doing if I knew how to code gaming.
The Setting This universe places you in a continent with one particularly important organization – the College! This college has 8 founders, heroes who have inherited the blessings of 8 gods. The college has been teaching the disciplines of the founders to all – young and old, rich and poor – for hundreds of years. They’ve even allowed 4 other disciplines to teach there! And yet, it has started to fall on hard times. So hard, in fact, that the college is now set to close. And in this college are eight people, staff and student alike, that embark on their journeys, each with their own goals. What will they find? What secrets will they unveil? What kind of ending will their stories see?
The first part of their journey, they will embark alone. However, on their journey, their paths will untie with one other traveler twice, and each time, the traveler will learn something of great importance to them! Perhaps something to improve upon their profession…
- The first and final chapters will only require the character whose story it pertains to. However, for the 2nd and 3rd chapters, it will require two travelers! And in each of those chapters, one traveler will earn…a SUBJOB!
- What are subjobs? They’re a way to specialize their primary job. It improvess their stats slightly, but more than, it allows them to transform certain skills in order to better fit a role they wish to fill! Thus, each traveler will have: a primary job, a subjob pertaining to their primary job, and a secondary job.
The College Though it is certainly far from the state from its heyday, there are still quite a number of people who love the college dearly. This includes the vice principal, who requests the traveler to assist in restoring the college back to its former glory. They ask them to find teachers and staff, as well as students who would want to study or even come back in order to fill its halls and rooms with life again.
- Recruiting can be done by satisfying certain requirements, using path actions, and completing quests
o Using path actions
- We are unfortunately doing away with night path actions – instead, we’re replacing them with environmental path actions!
- Just like there are four kinds of NPC interaction path actions, there are four kinds of environmental interaction path actions:
- To Destroy (remove from path)
- To Observe (to get information)
- To Find (get hidden items)
- To Gain (acquire as an item and maybe place them as decor in the college or others)
So yes, you will go on a recruiting spree. Why? This is the first and foremost way to gain secondary classes for the primary jobs – so that the travelers can enroll in them. And if you fill these teachers’ classes with students, you’ll be able to enroll more of the travelers in these classes. Why, these teachers might be able to teach you more about your subjob’s passive skills…if you meet certain requirements, of course (a la do jobs for them like when getting Licenses).
Another reason why the travelers will want to do this is so that the student store can be filled with more and more items, weapons, and anything else they might need. And of course, they’ll get a student and staff discount here. But only if they can find the right staff to man these stores and stalls.
The Travelers ORSEA EMERETTE THE SCHOLAR Story
- She has finally been accepted to the college that her parents were teachers in, where her parents have stayed for years and years to finish their research. They were supposed to have completed it. Instead, they disappeared, along with their valuable lives’ work. And if she is to find answers, then the college is where she should start.
- And in the process, perhaps, find out what exactly her parents’ research involved.
Path Actions
- Scrutinize
- Attempt to identify and glean information from someone. There’s a chance you may fail though.
- Scrounge
- Environmental PA

The Warrior (Knight) and the Hunter (Falconer) and The Mysterious Man - The Warrior and the Hunter are fighters. As such when the Thief finds a band of supposedly good thieves, he decides that maybe he should make sure nothing…unfortunate were to happen to him. Who knows? Maybe they’ll prove him wrong.
The Cleric (Orator) and the Scholar (Researcher) and The Memories of the Past - These two young minds are actually childhood friends. Who knew? And perhaps their journeys will take them back to their homes, where they can reminisce about the memories and decisions that brought them to where they are today.
The Merchant (Trader) and the Dancer (Idealist) and The Reason for Living - Although they deal with different matters, these Merchant and the Dancer both make a lighthearted challenge on who can make people’s lives better. With merchandise? With arts? Why not both? Facing against the thing called ‘unhappiness’, maybe they can learn a thing or two about raising the spirits of others.
ENDING NOTES Advanced Jobs are in comments.
Yeah, this game lives rent-free in my head. Feel free to roast me. Or tell me how you can break/cheese the game. Assuming most if not all items from the previous game (s) were available, what combos would you do? Is it balanced? Is it not?
Also, as for one of their names... I know what I did, and I stand by it.

2023.03.26 22:52 magkozak Stalked in College
I met a guy in college and ran one lap with him. He asked my name and I told him. He was hitting on me but I said no. Anyway, I was going through my emails a day later and he sent me a schedule of when we “WILL” run together. I was shocked because to find my email in the college email system, he had to have gone through everyone who has my first name in the system.
He would watch me so intensely whenever I ran or shot basketballs at the Rec center. It was so intense, people actually noticed and told me. He would “hide” behind equipment and stare. That part was a little funny to me at least. His “hiding” was terrible haha! He kept hitting on me in person and wouldn’t take no for an answer. He grabbed me by the arm forcefully on one occasion and another, said that he was my boyfriend (obviously not).
It’s funny because I told my best friend and she didn’t think anything of it. But one day, my best friend (we went to the same college) texts me and says come to the dining hall. I did. There was another girl. I found out this guy had a RESTRAINING order placed against him by the ENTIRE girls soccer team. The restraining order was because he would use the same tactics against them. There is more that happened but I’ll stop it there.

2023.03.26 22:38 Chasepointe ULPT Request: Long Job Gap USA
Hello everyone I desperately need advice, I have a very long job gap
Ask: how to secure a new role
Background: school plus experience
Internships: best names including Morgan, Goldman etc
College: graduated in finance top B school with honors. Later managed to get CPA many years later. CFA charter holder.
Experience: first job largest pharma, second job top 5 investment banks, 3rd job best global investment bank.
Total experience: 15 years
Death: sabbatical to take care of a sick parent. Lasted several years. Parent passed away
Savings: survived on savings for several years as caregiver for parent
After death of parent: worked last two years as a consultant while living caring for the alive parent
Volunteer work: volunteered animal shelter for 6 plus years except Covid peak 16 months
Courses: more than 3 dozen refresher courses with certification that are useless (LinkedIn)
My parent is old. Career has taken a nose dive. My health has deteriorated from extreme physically fit to being overweight again. (Lost 75 pounds intentionally as a challenge)
With the latest developments, finance technology accounting, I am well read and keep up to date. With my extreme anxiety I tend to ace interviews however name any sort of anxiety and I have it.
Last role: M&A Investments controller. That was 6 years ago.
How do I get back into the work force. How do I approach the job gap? Ideas? Last two years consulting work with big names BUT NONE OF MY EX COLLEAGUES know that I have been struggling with death, adhd, anxiety, depression due to death of parent and absolutely no motivation.
Looking for some advice on how to retain my seniority. I’m youngish in late 30s. Feel like mid life is hitting me hard. If I disclose job gap, I’m screwed. If I don’t disclose then I lie and risk my integrity. I can’t sleep at night

2023.03.26 22:13 LosstUser Some predictions I have for the Mid-Late 2020s
This is just based on my opinions and is my first time doing it so this might be highly inaccurate. Take all of this info with a grain of salt:
(Disclaimer: It’s ok if you have a different perspective than mine. I’m interested in seeing your own predictions. Please be respectful )
Mid 2020s
-The Covid period (2020-early 2022) will be seen as outdated, specially if TikTok gets banned. If TikTok gets banned, I imagine two scenarios: A big migration of content to other platforms. YouTube already have the shorts and Instagram the reels, so there will be more presence of TikTok creators on these other platforms. The other scenario is that a new social media platform might rise and become the dominant for the next years. I see both scenarios happening together, and the first might be more plausible to happen but who knows.
- I see teen culture to be directing more towards Late Z and early Zalphas than Core Z. I see the early 2020s (and maybe 2018 and 2019 too, but many people associate them more with Early Z) to be more associated with Core Z teen culture while mid to late 2020s more associated with Late Z and Zalphas. Is uncertain what the new trends will be or look.
-The dominant aesthetic for the past 10 years has been the Flat Design. The former ones like Frutiger Aero (spanning roughly from 2004 to 2013), the Y2K (spanning roughly from 1997 to 2004) and Memphis design (from around the mid 80s to 1997) seems to have a lifespan from around 7 to 13 years. Following this, is very possible the next change will happen sometime in the mid 2020s, or in the late 2020s at the latest.
-Animated movies has seen a trend lately. Since Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse from 2018, this 2D/3D mix seems to be gaining in popularity. The next Ninja Turtles which will be premiering in August of this year is using the style, a Garfield movie which will come next year is probably using it too, and even Disney will premiere a movie with this traditional/CG animations hybrid on November. Puss In Boots: The Last Wish was a hit, so many people revisited the first movie, and many stated how the hyper realistic design of the protagonists looks ugly for them. I think this hyper realistic/ Pixar esque style, while not disappearing, I see many studios like Sony and DreamWorks approaching more this 2D/3D mix and more people disliking more the hyper resalí tic 3D animation as the decade progresses.
-PS5 and Xbox series X sales has seen an increase in the past quarter. The pandemic has greatly stagnated their sales. But, by the mid 2020s I see them becoming much more dominant. Also, I expect Nintendo a new successor around this time, but is still uncertain.
-AI will become more and more mainstream at a higher rate. I see more of this GPT chats kind of stuff coming out. Probably not that different from now , but it will be more and more known.
Late 2020s
-AI, just like internet in the late 90s, will grew in popularity and influence. It wouldn’t be crazy for me if it started be used more in schools as a tool. Maybe in jobs too. I see it being as a form to help artist to make proportions and ideas (I hope it doesn’t end up substituting them), or also to maybe help architects to make their sketches and concepts (I’m not sure if it’s already a thing)
-More and More 2010s nostalgia on the rise. Many kids born in the 2010s will be discussing about who remember the Precovid life more, using this as a marker of gatekeep.Memes about how kids born before 2013 are 2010s kids and “the last of the elite” and kids born after 2013 are Cocomelon kids and don’t remember a time before the pandemic or something like that lol
-By the late 2020s, teens will mostly be early to mid 2010s borns. Around 2026/27 any Core Z teen culture that maybe was left after 2023 will be completely gone. I think late Z and Zalpha teen culture will be peaking around 2025/26 to 2029 (and early 2030s being more zalpha/early alpha).
