Just sumn i thought i’d share
So I did a long term save (currently in 2052) managing the likes of Chelsea, Lyon, Leipzig, Atletico and Inter to win a sextuple in all T5 leagues. Having not done so at Lyon (but still winning CL and transforming them from midtable to champions), I returned back to Chelsea to replicate my successes in other leagues with a refined and tested tactic(s) (I dominated almost every league and found it relatively easy after a while with my tactic to go whole seasons with 2 losses and 1 draw or 1 loss and no draws at my best)
Upon returning to prem circa 2050, i notice that there’s no big 6 anymore. it’s the big 8 now basically. traditional big 6 (or big 4 as city and spurs fell off) and some other teams like villa, sheffield, newcastle and everton who gained rich owners or increased in status.
So whereas in LaLiga i’d be competing with, say, Barca and real, it’s as if i’m playing a big team every 2 weeks.
The other option would be my tactic just being bad, but i tested it in an earlier save/version of my save at chelsea (circa 2028) and it works well, tho idk how the quality of players then (bellingham, musiala, havertz, mount etc) compares to what i have now (tho i do most were in unfamiliar roles eg mount at rpm but still produced)

Toby is my husbands favorite (he’s seen this show about 4 times through). However, I just think he’s an asshole and I find him annoying. Did anybody else dislike Toby in the beginning? The only episode I liked him was when he gave the homeless deceased veteran a military funeral. That was a good Toby. I want more of that Toby.

2023.03.27 02:42 canadian12371 Quick fix to reduce back-to-backs: Eliminate the Pre-Season?
The pre-season is about 2.5 weeks, where teams play around 4-6 games. Instead of counting these as exhibition games, if the season starts in place of the pre season it can eliminate 4-6 back to backs. It is also a quick fix because it requires no more time, energy or money to implement. The players have to show up anyway, training camp is already finished, so may as well start the season instead of a useless pre-season. A no cost fix to reduce back to backs by 30-40% is significant, and I believe should be considered by the league. Thoughts?

2023.03.27 02:40 Stock-Succotash-2417 What if Miguel fought Kenny in the S4 All Valley Tournament?
I’ve seen this idea thrown around only a couple of times, but I thought more about it as I was watching Cobra Kai, and I think that if Miguel fought Kenny in the All Valley of Season 4, it could’ve been a very interesting matchup and been awesome within the storyline.
So, to begin, I would have Miguel, obviously, beating Kenny to begin the matchup, and would get the lead to 2-0. He would be holding back on Kenny, but still fighting him to get this lead.
Then, Silver would call Kenny over to the corner, and tell him to attack his weakness, his back. Silver tells Kenny to go after Miguel’s back and Kenny, who is fully corrupted by the Cobra Kai ideology at this point in Season 4, does just this. Robby tries to intervene and tell Kenny not to do this, but Silver would tell him to shut up.
So Kenny would target Miguel’s back throughout the rest of the match, and this would lead to the score being 2-2. Miguel would ultimately get the 3rd point even when Kenny is going after his back. This would then lead to Hawk vs Miguel in the semi-finals where Hawk would want to hold back against Miguel, and Miguel would tell him not to, and then after a few moves Miguel would get hurt just like what actually happened in the show.
You could have Robby’s reaction to seeing Kenny, someone that he has mentored, being corrupted by Cobra Kai. Robby would have to watch Kenny target an injury that he caused Miguel to have, and then this would be the catalyst to Robby leaving Cobra Kai at the end of the episode in Season 4.
Robby would also walk into Kenny beating up Anthony as well, and would be completely shaken up by all of this that he has seen Kenny do.
In addition, Robby seeing Kenny being corrupted by the Cobra Kai teachings by fighting dirty in the tournament would be a direct parallel to Johnny seeing Miguel fighting dirty in the tournament in Season 1.
So, what do you think about this scenario? Would you have liked to have seen Miguel vs Kenny as a matchup in the All Valley during Season 4?
