To improve the health and strength of your sperm, there are several things you can do. Firstly, it's important to eat a well-balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, fish, and walnuts. Getting enough sleep, limiting alcohol consumption, and maintaining a healthy weight are also important factors to consider while considering increasing the health of your semen.
Regular exercise can also boost testosterone levels and improve fertility.
Additionally, it's crucial to avoid activities that raise scrotal temperatures, such as using hot tubs, keeping laptops on your lap, and wearing tight underwear. It's best to consult a healthcare provider to determine the most appropriate course of action for your specific needs.

2023.06.08 14:49 Gearwrenchgal Tips for keeping animals from snacking on your plants
Just as the title says, Iām looking for tips or tricks in keeping small animals from turning my garden into an all you can eat buffet.
Last year I had a groundhog issue (which I think I got rid of him last year but not entirely sure) and the groundhog ate probably half my veggie garden.
This year has been odd temperature wise here so I have a bit of a late start. However something decided to eat all of my sunflowers overnight. They were about 2ā tall and there was probably 20-30 of them.
Any tips are appreciated.

2023.06.08 14:47 Ricardo_Montabot Embracing the Reverse Climb: Any Compelling Stories on Stepping Down from the Corporate Ladder?
I'm curious if any of you have some interesting tales about embracing a step-down in your career.
So, my deal. I'm a 36-year-old engineering manager in the Industrial/Manufacturing field but I work in tech so it pays more. Lately, I've been pondering the idea of ditching the managerial track and returning to my roots as a project engineer or manufacturing/industrial engineer. Don't get me wrongāI appreciate the opportunities that come with climbing the ladder but managing a team doesn't quite suit me. I miss the thrill of tackling technical problems and developing my skills in that area.
Call me unambitious or ungrateful, but the whole corporate climb just doesn't seem worth it. The crazy part is that managing earns me a measly $10k more per year compared to when I was a senior engineer, where life was pretty chill. Maybe I negotiated the offer poorly as well. I constantly question myself, wondering if this urge to step down is a risky move. I have the chance to accelerate my career right now, but my mind keeps drifting towards snagging a lower-level position. I like working in the field, I see posts for jobs in the field and I daydream about doing those jobs again.
Maybe it's my way of channelling my old man, who spent 35 years as a project engineer. He always had time for us and never seemed overly stressed about work. He valued WLB and would actually turn down promotions because he always said that, and that's starting to resonate with me. Maybe that's why I question it because he was always going on about the risks of moving up.
On the other hand, I could put my pedal to the metal, try and be a director in a few years. All the corporate ass-kissing seems degrading, most people I meet at that level seem to be so full of it.
Have any of you taken a step back in your careers? How did it pan out for you? Did it lead you down unexpected paths or teach you valuable life lessons? I'll more than likely keep trying to grind upward but I wanted to hear about anyone who did something similar and how it turned out and if they had any regrets about not pushing upward.

2023.06.08 14:47 extopico The travelling LLaMa: Graph theory meets local LLM - another test of performance of local LLMs
This puzzle is solvable! I solved it and GPT-4 solved it and we got the same result. Yes I am nervous in case I still got it wrong, but the previous thread was insightful and even the flawed results delivered some insights. The main takeaway from the first attempt was for me was that "all LLaMA models have the same reasoning ability", or do they...
This is another original puzzle that models would not have seen before and I modified it so that even GPT-4 did not see it before.
The Delivery Route Puzzle: There are 4 towns - A, B, C, and D.
A delivery truck has to deliver packages to all of these towns. Each town must receive only one delivery, and the truck must return to its starting point.
The distances between the towns are as follows:
- A to B is 50 miles
- A to C is 70 miles
- A to D is 60 miles
- B to C is 30 miles
- B to D is 80 miles
- C to D is 40 miles
The truck begins its journey with 200 miles of fuel. However, there are a few rules that the driver needs to consider:
- Every delivery uses up 10 miles worth of fuel, regardless of distance.
- The truck can refuel only at town C and it can only do this once. When it refuels, it must fill up the tank to its full capacity of 200 miles.
- The truck has to return to town A after delivering to all towns.
The puzzle is to find the route that the truck should take to deliver to all towns, refuel at town C and return to town A with the minimum amount of fuel remaining. The driver is extremely cautious and doesn't want to risk running out of fuel.
Remember, the goal is to have the minimum amount of fuel remaining after returning to town A, but without ever running out of fuel during the trip.
Results summary
There is only one optimal solution if we adhere to all constraints:
ACBDA GPT-4: correct
Bing: incorrect. Gave two answers, then argued with me :)
Bard: incorrect. Does not understand the problem, does not adhere to constraints. It returned to the same town, also its output is almost identical to guanaco 65B. It also did not deliver anything to town C, only refueled, twice... disastrous performance. Use
Wizard-Vicuna-30B-Uncensored.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin and get better performance and privacy.
Bard output:
- Start in town A.
- Drive to town B and deliver a package. (This uses up 10 miles of fuel.)
- Drive to town C and refuel. (This brings the fuel level back to 200 miles.)
- Drive to town D and deliver a package. (This uses up 10 miles of fuel.)
- Drive back to town C. (This uses up 40 miles of fuel.)
- Refuel in town C. (This brings the fuel level back to 200 miles.)
- Drive back to town A. (This uses up 70 miles of fuel.)
Local LLM answers: all incorrect with most not following instructions, some missing the 10 'mile' penalty per delivery, some not knowing the basic arithmetics.
Among the local LLMs, this is my ranking:
- Wizard-Vicuna-30B-Uncensored.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin: overall good reasoning, adheres to instructions to the highest level and is not unhinged. It does not know maths.
- alpaca-lora-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin: Incorrect and somewhat strange reasoning, but uses less flawed reasoning compared to other 65B models.
- guanaco-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin: almost OK except it missed the delivery costs and of course the answer is incorrect
The reject pile:
guanaco-65B.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin: worse than guanaco-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin. It could be that quantizing broke it. It cannot do arithmetics, does not follow instruction. Will no longer use.
VicUnlocked-Alpaca-65B.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin: better than Bard, but not useful
VicUnlocked-Alpaca-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin: identical to
VicUnlocked-Alpaca-65B.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin but more verbose
dromedary-lora-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin: Starts of strong, gets confused in a scarily confident way.
based-30b.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin: Did not explain the reasoning. Does not seem to know what is happening
gpt4-alpaca-lora_mlp-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin: it had severe issues and I believe I will no longer use this model for anything
I relied on
guanaco-65B.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin for most of my current workload so I need to reflect on this result and try to understand what it may mean in a broader context of the domain that I use the models in.

Wizard-Vicuna-30B-Uncensored.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin Answer: After analyzing the information provided, I can confirm that there are multiple routes that the delivery truck could take to complete its journey while minimizing the amount of fuel remaining upon returning to town A. However, based on the given rules and constraints, I have determined that the most efficient route would be as follows:
- Start in town A and drive to town B (50 miles)
- Deliver package in town B (10 miles worth of fuel used)
- Drive from town B to town C (30 miles)
- Refuel in town C (200 miles of fuel added)
- Drive from town C to town D (40 miles)
- Deliver package in town D (10 miles worth of fuel used)
- Drive from town D to town A (80 miles)
This route meets all of the requirements outlined in the puzzle, including delivering to all towns, refueling at town C, and returning to town A with the minimum amount of fuel remaining. The total distance traveled is 250 miles, which means that the truck will have 50 miles of fuel remaining upon returning to town A.
Model:
gpt4-alpaca-lora_mlp-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin Answer: After analyzing the information provided in the input, I believe there are two possible solutions for this delivery route puzzle.
Solution 1:
The first solution involves making deliveries to towns B, D, and then C before refueling. After refueling, the truck can make deliveries to town A and return to its starting point. Here is how the journey would look like:
A to B (50 miles) - 10 miles used up = 40 miles left
B to C (30 miles) - 10 miles used up = 20 miles left
C to refuel (60 miles) - 10 miles used up = 140 miles left after refueling
C to A (70 miles) - 10 miles used up = 80 miles left
A to home (10 miles) - 10 miles used up = 70 miles left at home
The total distance traveled is 260 miles, with a fuel usage of 50 miles. This leaves the truck with 70 miles of fuel remaining when it returns to town A.
Solution 2:
Another solution involves making deliveries to towns C and D before refueling. After refueling, the truck can make deliveries to town B and then return to its starting point. Here is how the journey would look like:
A to C (60 miles) - 10 miles used up = 90 miles left
C to refuel (30 miles) - 10 miles used up = 180 miles left after refueling
C to D (40 miles) - 10 miles used up = 150 miles left
D to home (10 miles) - 10 miles used up = 140
Model:
guanaco-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin Answer: The optimal route for the delivery truck would be as follows:
- Start from town A and drive to town B (50 miles).
- From town B, drive to town D (80 miles) and make a delivery there.
- From town D, drive back to town C (40 miles) and refuel the tank.
- From town C, drive to town A (70 miles) and complete the loop.
The total distance traveled is 240 miles, which is within the truck's maximum range of 200 miles after refueling. The remaining fuel after returning to town A will be 60 miles, which is the minimum amount possible for this route.
Model:
guanaco-65B.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin Answer: The optimal route for the delivery truck would be as follows:
- Start from town A and drive to town B (50 miles).
- Drive back to town C (80 miles) and refuel the tank (uses up 10 miles of fuel).
- Drive to town D (40 miles), then to town A (60 miles).
- Drive to town B (70 miles), then back to town C (30 miles).
- Drive to town D (80 miles), then back to town A (60 miles).
The total distance driven is 390 miles, which is less than the full tank capacity of 200 miles. The truck will have 10 miles of fuel remaining when it returns to town A. This route ensures that the truck never runs out of fuel and minimizes the amount of fuel used.
Model:
VicUnlocked-Alpaca-65B.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin Answer: The optimal route for the delivery truck would be as follows:
- Start from town A and drive to town B (50 miles).
- Drive back to town A (50 miles).
- Refuel at town C (200 miles).
- Drive to town D (60 miles).
- Drive to town C (40 miles).
- Drive to town B (30 miles).
- Drive back to town A (50 miles).
This route uses a total of 280 miles worth of fuel, leaving 20 miles remaining in the tank when the truck returns to town A. This is the minimum amount of fuel that can be used while still delivering all packages and returning to town A without running out of fuel.
Model:
VicUnlocked-Alpaca-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin Answer: The optimal route for the delivery truck would be as follows:
- Start from town A and drive to town B (50 miles).
- Drive back to town A (50 miles).
- Refuel at town C (200 miles).
- Drive to town D (60 miles).
- Drive to town C (40 miles).
- Drive to town B (30 miles).
- Drive back to town A (50 miles).
This route uses a total of 280 miles of fuel, leaving 20 miles remaining in the tank when the truck returns to town A. This is the minimum amount of fuel that can be used while still delivering all packages and refueling once.
The explanation for this solution is as follows:
- The first delivery must be from town A to town B because it is the shortest distance among all possible deliveries.
- After delivering to town B, the truck drives back to town A because there are no other deliveries that can be made with the remaining fuel.
- At this point, the truck has used up 100 miles of fuel (50 miles + 50 miles) and has 100 miles left in the tank. It must now refuel at town C before continuing on its route.
- After refueling, the truck drives to town D because it is the furthest away from town C. This ensures that the truck uses up as much fuel as possible during the refueling stop.
- After delivering to town D, the truck drives back to town C because there are no other deliveries that can be made with the remaining fuel.
- At this point, the truck has used up another 120 miles of fuel (60... [output truncated due to token limit]
Model:
dromedary-lora-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin Answer: The truck should take the following route:
A -> B -> C -> D -> C -> A
The truck will use up 10 miles for each delivery, so it will use up a total of 40 miles for the first 4 deliveries.
After delivering to town D, the truck has 160 miles left in its tank. It then refuels at town C, which fills up the tank to its full capacity of 200 miles.
The truck then delivers to town C and returns to town A with 40 miles remaining.
### Explanation:
The truck must refuel at town C because it is the only town that has a gas station.
If the truck were to refuel at any other town, it would not have enough fuel to return to town A.
For example, if the truck were to refuel at town B, it would use up all of its fuel delivering to towns C and D, and would not be able to return to town A.
Similarly, if the truck were to refuel at town D, it would run out of fuel before being able to deliver to town C.
Therefore, the truck must refuel at town C in order to complete the delivery route.
### Solution:
The truck should take the following route:
A -> B -> C -> D -> C -> A
The truck will use up 10 miles for each delivery, so it will use up a total of 40 miles for the first 4 deliveries.
After delivering to town D, the truck has 160 miles left in its tank. It then refuels at town C, which fills up the tank to its full capacity of 200 miles.
Model:
alpaca-lora-65B.ggmlv3.q5_1.bin Answer: The delivery truck should follow this route: A -> B -> D -> C -> A. This will use up a total of 210 miles worth of fuel, leaving 90 miles in reserve when it returns to town A.
This route ensures that the truck never runs out of fuel because it stops at town C for refuelling before making its final delivery to town A. It also minimizes the distance travelled, since the truck only makes one round-trip between towns and doesn't make any unnecessary detours.
Model:
based-30b.ggmlv3.q8_0.bin Answer: The optimal solution would be to start by going from A to B, then to D, then to C, and finally back to A. This would use up a total of 200 miles worth of fuel.

2023.06.08 14:47 secret77 Roof or Hitch Rack for bikes - new Rav4 Limited Hybrid
I know this topic has been covered before but thought I'd seek advice on my specific example.
Expecting delivery of a new Rav4 Limited Hybrid next week, already have the optional Roof Rack Cross Bars added.
My daughter and I like to mountain bike and would like to use it fairly soon after for a road trip (2 bikes).
Trying to decide between adding a bike roof rack to the top (which seems like a simplecheaper option IMO) or going for the OEM hitch and a rack on the back (more convenient option).
Bikes (two) would be the only use for the hitch, I'm not towing or anything else. Although I agree that the hitch would make it easiemore convenient, I'm in decent shape to lift the bikes up top and not sure if going through cutting a bumper (on a brand new car) and all the installation is worth it just for two bikes. We bike maybe once or twice a week.
I'd most likely remove the front wheels if putting on top on a rack, and I don't park in a garage where I'd have to worry about space clearance up top.
My limited will have the kick sensor for the bumper but I've seen where that can be adjusted to work with a hitch.
Is it worth it going through the all the hitch installation and stuff on a brand new car just for two bikes when we bike maybe once or twice a week or go on a road trip a few times a year?
Thanks in advance for your input!

2023.06.08 14:46 _MeatBody_ Extreme nausea and discomfort out of nowhere.
I'm no stranger to the substance.
After a few months of a break, I took the pen out for a spin. I like to use DMT in a series of experiences spanning over a couple of days or maybe just a few hours. Usually 3 attempts, all in the realm of 3 ten second hauls held in for the same time. Generally, I've had some great and difficult times using DMT but never any physical discomfort. Sometimes my face feels pressure, or pins and needles, maybe a tightness around my neck or back of my head, but that usually dissipates within the first few minutes.
Lately, however, immediately after the third exhale a wave of the most intense discomfort and physical pain has been washing over me. I'm able to breathe through it and experience the otherwise normal DMT experience, but it is so discomforting. The only way to accurately explain it is the spiritual or ego equivalent of the type of discomfort you feel prior to needing to vomit, or have illness level diarrhea, coupled with the most uncomfortable and painful pressure in my head and body. The actual taste of DMT has shifted as well, into something indescribably putrid and not at all like the new shoes I'm used to.
Anyone have similar occurrences? My intuition says "maybe it's just not time or you have nothing to see?" But aside from the new physical effects, the visual effects and headspace are much the same as any other time. Somewhat pleasant, interesting, and at times terrifying visions of rooms and entities.
It might be worth noting that this is a new vape cartridge.

[Dystopian Thriller] The Black Scales
Hi,
I am looking for my first ever reader for my first ever attempt at a novel! Itās a dystopian thriller called āThe Black Scalesā
Thought would be worth a post here to dystopian future enthusiasts.
Iām looking for people to read the first chapter or two and then perhaps more of suitably interested.
Please find a short blurb below.
The year is 2032. Following a viral pandemic and widespread political corruption, the United Kingdom has plummeted into years of mass violence, riots and sabotage known to all as āThe Panicā. Small pockets of unrest grow and sprawl into armies of rebellion and the battle rages on against the regime.
Coinciding with the police and military losing control, a mysterious new drug known as āCrocā arrives on the streets and waves of horrific opioid addiction cascade through the cities of the United Kingdom, bringing it to its knees. The new world is bleak, desolate, and disgusting. Slums and squats house thousands whilst gangs war against rivals and deal drugs and arms from their dangerous shanty towns.
In Manchester, an alliance of police and military known as the City Guard has squashed the rebellion and taken control. They devote their time and resources to the protection of the middle and upper classes, whilst they only venture into the slums to tax and oppress. When night falls, they retreat all together and the city bursts into chaos until first light.
Jude is a wide-eyed, optimistic young man surviving hand to mouth in a city on its knees. Orphaned during āThe Panicā he later finds himself in with Trevor, a burly market trader and former rebel. Judeās life is pleasant enough. He hunts rats and pigeons with a bow for Trevor, who cooks and sells them from his stall in āThe Gardensā,ā a sprawling slum in Manchesterās Piccadilly region.
A deadly turn of events lands Jude as ward of Ansell, a serial killer of legend. A ghost story. A boogie man. Tales plague the city of a murderer, stalking, torturing and killing Croc addicts and dealers in stomach turning fashion. What they donāt know is that Ansell is on a one man mission to rid the country of Croc, following a trail of users and dealers in search of āThe Conduitā,ā the fabled link between the streets and the source of the drug.
When Ansellās work leads him toward the City Guard, he finds his path interwoven with Judeās and they embark together on a quest for answers, and vengeance.

$EPAZ Bounce Play Watchlist (EPAZ, GAXY, AABB, HMBL)
06/08/2023 03:28am EDT
In the fast-paced world of stock trading and investment, savvy market participants are constantly scanning the horizon for lucrative opportunities hidden within market fluctuations. These periods of volatility can present a unique window for astute investors to capitalize on potential bargains.
For this article, let's turn our attention to a selection of four penny stocks that have recently encountered a temporary downturn. However, beneath the surface lies an intriguing narrative of resilience and potential resurgence, capturing the attention of shrewd investors seeking hidden gems in the market.
EPAZZ INC. (OTC: EPAZ)
The first company with the potential for a bounce play is Epazz, Inc. (OTC:EPAZ). EPAZ is a mission-critical provider of drone technology, blockchain mobile apps, and cloud-based business software solutions.
Throughout this spring, EPAZ and their spinoff company, ZenaDrone, have been making significant strides with their flagship product, the ZenaDrone 1000. This advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has garnered substantial interest from various sectors, positioning Epazz as a rising stock in the industry.
In March 2023, ZenaDrone, Inc., received a letter of support from the U.S. Air Force, solidifying the drone's potential for drone cargo delivery, including critical blood transport. The U.S. Air Force invited ZenaDrone to conduct tests at an overseas base under battlefield conditions, showcasing the drone's capabilities in a military environment. This milestone not only attracted attention from the U.S. Air Force but also caught the interest of the U.S. Army.
The successful presentation of the ZenaDrone 1000 at the AERO General Aviation Convention in Friedrichshafen, Germany, in April further bolstered its reputation. This exposure resulted in multiple scheduled demonstrations with NATO partner countries, law enforcement departments, and a prominent German rail line. In addition, ZenaDrone's engagement with German UAV regulators for beyond-visual-line-of-sight operations also demonstrates the company's commitment to staying ahead of industry standards and expanding its market reach.
In another update, EPAZ announced a meeting with Ossian Smyth, minister of state at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform of Ireland, at ZenaDrone's offices in Dublin. ZenaDrone is currently in negotiations with a financing institution for a deal to purchase up to 100 ZenaDrone 1000s, paving the way for drone-as-a-service operations in Ireland, which could prove to be a lucrative opportunity for the company.
Something that could help with a rebound is that EPAZ is not only focused on the drone technology itself but also on key supporting components. The company has been actively filing patents for its artificial intelligence (AI)-based drone technology, with two patents already granted and two others under review with the US Patent Office.
In line with their commitment to innovative technologies, EPAZ recently formed Galaxy Batteries Inc., a subsidiary dedicated to housing their battery technology intellectual property. The company's high-powered battery solutions are essential for running specialized devices and aircraft. EPAZ is evaluating opportunities to monetize these technologies and provide additional value to the company.
Epazz's strategic updates this spring, including securing military interest, expanding international partnerships, and advancing patent filings, could make them a compelling investment prospect.
As EPAZ continues to develop and commercialize cutting-edge drone technology and battery solutions, investors may want to keep an eye on Epazz, Inc. (OTC: EPAZ) for potential opportunities within the ever-growing drone industry.
GALAXY NEXT GENERATION (OTC: GAXY)
GAXY is a leading provider of interactive learning technology solutions and school communication platforms. With over 22 resellers across the United States, the company serves the commercial and educational markets. The K-12 education segment accounts for nearly 90% of Galaxy's sales.
Latest Contract Win on June 6: Galaxy recently secured a significant contract worth a minimum of $200,000 from a prominent school district in Northeast Ohio. The contract involves supplying G2 Bell, Paging, Intercom, and Clock (BPIC) hardware, along with G2 Communicator software, to five schools within the district. Implementation is expected to take place over the next few weeks, marking a promising growth opportunity for Galaxy.
Q3 FY 2023 Earnings Highlights from June 1: In its recent earnings report for Q3 FY 2023, Galaxy showcased progress. Revenues climbed quarter over quarter, rising from approximately $430,000 in the three months ending December 2022 to around $657,000 in the three months ending March 2023. Notably, G&A expenses decreased from roughly $1.5 million to approximately $670,000, resulting in a significant improvement in net loss.
Strategic Partnerships Fuel Growth: Galaxy's recent partnerships with major audiovisual (AV) dealers have been instrumental in driving sales growth. With a pipeline exceeding $5 million and several upcoming opportunities, Galaxy is capitalizing on their expanded product portfolio. The company expects this shift towards higher-margin products to substantially improve profit margins and contribute to the company's performance.
ASIA BROADBAND INC. (OTC: AABB)
AABB is a resource company focused on producing and selling precious and base metals primarily in Asian markets. AABB is focused on providing an efficient metal supply from Mexico to Asian clients.
In addition, AABB has also ventured into digital assets, introducing AABBG, a gold-backed cryptocurrency, and proprietary platforms such as AABBExchange and
PayAABB.com.
Yesterday, AABB provided an update on its operations. The company successfully verified shipments of processing equipment for its new facility in Mexico, which is set to enhance processing throughput while minimizing production costs. With an exclusive agreement to purchase a significant gold and silver ore stockpile worth over $800 million, AABB demonstrates its commitment to strategic expansion and increasing physical gold holdings.
The initial processing capacity of 200 tons per day, expected to generate over $11 million in annual revenue, is just the beginning, as AABB plans to expand the capacity fivefold to 1,000 tpd once the initial level is consistently at full capacity.
This state-of-the-art plant, equipped with advanced mining equipment automation, aims to maximize metal extraction while minimizing production costs.
AABB's strategic acquisition of the large-scale gold and silver ore stockpile in Las Jimenez, Etzatlan, Jalisco, Mexico, presents a potential high-yield asset addition. The new processing facility, located in close proximity to the ore stockpile and the AABB Buenavista mining warehouse, is expected to bolster revenue generation and pave the way for further expansion.
Overall, Asia Broadband Inc.'s recent progress, including the verification of equipment shipments, exclusive purchase rights to a substantial gold and silver ore stockpile, and the development of an advanced processing facility, could indicate a positive trajectory for the company.
HUMBL, INC. (OTCQB: HMBL)
At the end of May, HMBL took significant steps to strengthen its position and drive shareholder value. The company announced an extension of the conversion limitations on its Series B preferred stock, signaling its commitment to reducing dilution and securing investor interests.
Under the revised terms, Series B holders are restricted from converting any shares between June 2023 and September 2023. From October 2023 to June 2024, conversions will be limited to 500 shares per month, and from July 2024 to December 2024, the limit will increase to 1,000 shares per month. These measures aim to streamline the company's restructuring plan, which includes consolidating and retiring existing debt.
Additionally, HUMBL announced it has entered into a marketing partnership with the Swish Foundation, a renowned 501(c)3 organization, and the Swish Pro-Am Summer League. As part of this collaboration, the HUMBL logo will be prominently displayed on jerseys and courts during Swish Pro-Am games. The partnership extends to merchandise, which will be verified and commemorated on the BLOCKS Registry for enhanced tracking and verification.
This strategic alliance not only opens avenues for increased brand exposure but also presents opportunities for fan engagement. Swish Pro-Am athletes and teams will connect with fans through verified profiles on HUMBL's social media platform, catering to a global audience across 130+ countries. HUMBL will further leverage its digital wallet, search engine, and verified social media to activate sponsorships and offer authenticated, signed merchandise from the league during the 2023 Pro-Am Summer season.
The Swish Pro-Am Competition, set to begin on June 22, 2023, at Lincoln High School Gym in San Diego, promises an exciting showcase of talent and entertainment. HUMBL CEO Brian Foote expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, recognizing the growth potential and enhanced fan experiences this collaboration brings.
With these recent developments, HUMBL demonstrates its commitment to driving shareholder value and expanding its presence in the sports and digital content spaces. The company's efforts to reduce dilution and establish strategic partnerships contribute to its potential for a significant bounce in investor interest.

2023.06.08 14:42 ShiningAway Another "I was like you and everyone else on this server, and then it happened" story.
So, hey guys. You probably don't know me. I spend most of my time scrolling on other social media these days. I come in once in a while to talk about the current state of actor training which I'm very passionate about, or to celebrate a new booked short film. I'm here today to celebrate my first feature film lead role, 3 years after I first began.
In 2020 I was in my final year of high school, living through an existential crisis during the worst days of the pandemic, and I came out here and said, I want to be an actor, how do I start?
I got many, many replies. Some encouraged me to give it a go, some told me how difficult it would be. Some gave great advice, others gave advice that I later realized was irrelevant to my context. I was a clueless kid who has until then never been on set, never been in drama club, I did not know a single person around me who was in the industry.
In the immediate period after I graduated from high school, I read tons of books about acting from the greats - Stanislavski, Meisner, Adler, Strasberg, Hagen, Meyerhold and so on. I understood some of it, but applying it in practice was another matter. I did acting classes only when I had the part time job money for them, but I spent hours after classes organizing my thoughts into journals and notes, because I did not want to forget a single second of what I learned.
I applied to a non-audition theatre major program which focused more on academics than the practical side, mainly because it was a safe and affordable option that my parents could agree on. I was rejected from the university drama club, rejected from many more professional youth theatres, rejected from the local musical theatre conservatory. I said no to a drama school in London because it was way too expensive and not worth the cost of leaving my current school.
I did lots of student films and unpaid work, and got compensated in meals and transportation. I freelanced as a writer and translator. I have a whole thing where I give people Chinese names on Reddit, it's one of my more interesting hobbies. I made lots of connections within my market, traversing between the film and theatre spaces, and I got to know people from every corner of the industry.
I started hanging out with filmmaking groups, and did small skits with beginner filmmakers.
I got my first student film lead in January 2022. I was ecstatic.
Someone told me I needed to work on a lot more before I'm good enough for drama school.
I did my first 48 hour film competition in May 2022, we didn't win anything but it was lovely being on set again.
Someone wanted to do an action webseries with me as a supporting lead and we had multiple discussions, but it just never happened.
I wrote and performed a stage play in my university in November 2022. The joy I felt bringing my character to life was immeasurable.
Someone told me I'll never be a professional actress.
I did a two week acting intensive, and the instructor did not hold back. I experienced the limits of how far my imagination and physicality can go.
I got a closed door audition for a day player role in a TV show. I didn't get it.
Someone told me I should stop trying.
May 2023. Exactly three years after I first imagined myself as a professional actor, I landed my first lead role in a feature film. I didn't dare to tell anyone until the director gave me the character biography. I was too afraid that it would disappear again. But I got the script. I got rehearsals. We did test shoots. We planned wardrobe, props, and even got permits from a few authorities to shoot on location.
At the same time, I got accepted into a two year actor training program on full scholarship, with some of the most celebrated mentors and teachers in my industry. Some opportunities only come by once in a lifetime, and I am quite certain this is one of them.
Today, looking at the eighty-page script on my table and the first day of shoots happening on Sunday, it finally occurred to me that all this is real. I did it.
When I said, "I want to make it as an actor" 3 years ago I didn't really know what I meant. I did not have high expectations, or maybe I did, and I was told to lower them because "darling, people don't just make it in the acting industry overnight, it takes years and lots and lots of money". I told myself, I'll graduate from this degree and try my hardest to act while holding down a full time job, and maybe when I'm 27 or 28 and I've scrimped and saved enough for a Masters of Fine Arts, I'll finally get the professional training and start trying my luck at 30.
Now suddenly everything has changed, and I'm lost again. It's a happy kind of lost. I just turned 21. Suddenly it occurred to me that my path is about as unorthodox as it gets. I didn't go to a 4-year acting school, I'm literally still a rising junior like my peers, tearing my hair out over group projects and college sports. I certainly did not move to LA, NYC, London or anywhere that is traditionally "an industry". I don't even have a TikTok, my Instagram is semi-professional but I'm more interested in being authentic than trying to attract casting directors. I know that this may not mean anything, many things could go South, but for the first time in this three years, I feel like I know where I'm going as an actor.
I'll be pinching myself every hour until the first day of shoots, and then I'll probably pinch myself some more. 2023 is actually insane.

2023.06.08 14:41 Fieryyyy WSIB if I want a new āforeverā game that I can pick up and play whenever I want?
Iām looking for a new game that I can really commit to for a long, LONG time. Iām talking about thousands of hours, and potentially forever. Previously, I played lots of Team Fortress 2 and Warframe, and put about 3000 hours or so into them over a decade, but Iām burnt out on them and donāt really plan on touching them again. Iām looking at Binding of Isaac: Repentance, but I also want something with more permanent progression to play alongside it. The problem is, there are way too many good games out there, and I donāt know which one would be best for me. I want something non-competitive with lots of progression/grind and replayability - potentially limitless amounts of it - thatās good to pick up and play whenever I want, whether for 20 minutes or a whole day. A good solo experience is also important, since I donāt have a dedicated group to play with. I also donāt want anything too expensive, since I donāt have that much money to blow on a new game. Ideally, I want something thatās a shooter, or at least similar to it, but thatās not necessary and just a bonus since I like shooters. Iāll give a long list of games that Iām considering, because I really donāt know which one is right for me, but feel free to suggest your own. Iāll also list some thoughts I have on each game on that list. Do let me know what you think I should pick, based on what Iāve played a lot previously, and what Iām looking for. Thanks in advance!
List of games (in alphabetical order):
Borderlands 3, Chronicon, Deep Rock Galactic, Destiny 2, Disgaea, Factorio, Minecraft, Monster Hunter: World, Siralim Ultimate, Stardew Valley, Terraria
Thoughts on each game:
Borderlands 3: The game seems to have a hard cap on progression, and Iām worried Iāll have no reason to play after that.
Chronicon: Iāve never really played ARPGs, because their combat is usually quite stale, where you hold down a button until things explode. Looks interesting, though.
Deep Rock Galactic: The game has basically no progression or real endgame to speak of. Within the first 20 hours of the game you pretty much see everything it has to offer. The developers also seem to be bloating the game with feature creep, which Iām not a fan of. Also not really made for solo play.
Destiny 2: One word: Expensive. Also it seems the general consensus is that the game just isnāt worth what you pay for it. Iām not really in the mood to jump ship from Warframe just to be disappointed in the same ways.
Disgaea: Like Chronicon, it also looks interesting, but I have little knowledge of the game itself, and I donāt really play turn-based games.
Factorio: Seems like itād stress me out with optimisation. The replayability of the game also seems to come from starting new save files with mods for most players, and Iām not a fan of that. Iād rather play on one save file for years and years. The stress is really the main thing, though.
Minecraft: Much like DRG, it suffers from content bloat. I also donāt like having to start new save files constantly just to experience new features, or having to fly out thousands of blocks just for new chunks.
Monster Hunter: World: A game with lots to grind, and from what I can tell, lots of content. Iām mainly worried about difficulty, though, and long-term replayability.
Stardew Valley: Same as Factorio, looks incredibly stressful, but arguably even more so with the in-game day system. The game also doesnāt seem to offer much in the endgame. Once you achieve 100% Perfection, youāre kind of done. I wish there was a way to expand the farm infinitely, or more to do, but sadly, that isnāt the case.
Siralim Ultimate: Same as Disgaea, really.
Terraria: Iām also worried about the long-term replayability of this. I know thereās stuff to do even after the final boss, but the size of the world is very much limited, and thereās only so much you can do before having to start a new file, which bothers me.
Again, these are all, from what I can tell, great games, which is why Iām considering them. I just need a little help deciding which would be best for me, based on what Iām looking for. Feel free to give your own suggestions, and any insight you might have. Apologies for the long essay, and thanks in advance!

2023.06.08 14:41 7399Lexie Birth control and LHR
I am interested in getting laser hair removal because I personally dislike body hair and hate shaving so frequently but Iāve heard that hormones can cause hair growth to start again. If I have a birth control implant, is it worth getting laser hair removal? Or is the implant likely to get in the way of any progress?

2023.06.08 14:40 K_Ellis95 [advice] Personal references for application
Hi all! I am in the process of applying for an apartment, and the application asks for contact information from my previous landlords as well as personal references. I have been reading about the recommended people to serve as references, and a roommate has agreed to be a personal reference. The application does not specify how many references are needed, but I figured two would be sufficient. Would a previous coworker be a good option? I havenāt started my new job yet, so I donāt know the people who I will be working with. Also, how important are the personal references if my credit score is good, I have never missed a rent payment, have several monthsā worth of rent in savings, have 40x income, etc?
This is my first time submitting an application like this in NYC, so I want to make sure I am putting my best foot forward. Thanks Iām advance!

2023.06.08 14:40 Impossible_Force_911 Question regarding what I should offer a homeless woman and her dog (mostly would you appreciate a dog toy and a phone charger.)
There is a homeless woman that I have seen a couple of times, she seems quite nice and has a cute dog who she has let me pat on multiple occasions. I normally give her any change that I have with me but I have two small dog toys (unused) that I thought might be nice to give to the dog. I was also thinking of putting some of my dog's food in a ziplock bag and seeing if she wants it, would that be okay or would it be disrespectful? I think it would be kind of rude to only give the dog something and not the woman herself, so I'm thinking of making a small hygiene and safety kit with bandaids, masks, bandages, period products, wipes, hand sanitizer, antiseptic wipes (is there anything important I'm missing?)
Also I've seen a lot of people say that socks are one of the best things to give, should I buy normal socks or thick/fluffy socks, or just ask her myself? Also for anyone who has experienced homelessness with a dog, would pet wipes be useful or more of a waste of space? (they don't come in small travel pacls)
I also have a lot of unused charging cables laying around. Unfortunately, I only have 2 spare plugs, is it still worth asking people if they just want the cable (since cables are more likely to break than the plug in the first place)
I am definitely going to ask if she wants any of these things in the first place (especially the charger) but I just wanted to check here first just incase. I think I might ask her anyway if there is anything else I can buy for her but I just want to see what I can bring from home since I'm 17 and don't have a job so I don't have a huge budget. If anyone else has any suggestions that would be great, especially for something non-essential, that just brings joy or entertainment
Sorry for the huge amount of questions btw

2023.06.08 14:38 QuintusCinq 7 weeks season
Introduction The following list gives an overview for the 31st mayor's pass season Fabulous Florida - Florida Summer Vibes, of Simcity Buildit, which runs for 6 weeks, starting on Wednesday 7th of June 2023. The mayor's pass has 42 tiers for the free and premium passes. The premium-plus pass, which was introduced during season 21, has 52 tiers.
A premium pass or a premium-plus pass can be bought at any moment during the season. When the season ends, the option to buy is closed at the same moment.
When buying a premium pass, the player has to choose between the 'basic" premium pass and the premium-plus pass. It is not possible to "upgrade" from a premium pass to a premium-plus pass once the premium pass has been bought.
Buying a premium pass or a premium-plus pass will immediately unlock all premium/plus rewards of the tiers that already have been finished at the moment of buying. The premium plus pass will also unlock the next 5 tiers (for more specific info: read the premium plus section).
The first 16 seasons were officially numbered. Uptil season 16 the reward items in the mayor's pass specialisation section were numbered according to their original seasons. Since the 17th season these numbers have disappeared. In stead of the season number the name of the season is now shown in the building information.
Rewards The unique new reward buildings are indicated in bold in the rewards columns.
Most other rewards are the same as, or comparable to rewards from previous seasons. For a few seasons in a row now, the free pass rewards for tier 4 and tier 26 are swapped each new season, but this season it is the same as last season. This season the war cards rewards are the same as last season; usually the war cards change each season.
The number of unique new buildings from the free pass has steadily gone down since the mayor's passes were originally introduced.
The free pass gave 5 unique new buildings since season 3 (when the seasons were shortened from 12 to 6 weeks). But since season 7 the free pass only gave 4 unique new buildings. Since season 11, the number of unique new buildings for the free pass is further limited: now you only can get 3 unique new buildings. Tier points Starting in season 30 the points per tier were different from previous seasons. It is expected that this season the points per tier will be the same as in season 30.
The list contains the number of plumbob points that are needed for each tier and the rewards from the free pass, the premium pass and the premium-plus pass.
Double points week In the previous mayor's pass seasons there was a "double points week" in the last week (which only lasts 5 days because the season ends when the 6th Contest of Mayors (CoM) week ends). During this week, the regular assignments as well as the milestone tasks give double points. Lightning CoM week During season 25 there was a "Lightning CoM week" in week 5 for the first time: each CoM lasted 48 hours, and there were 3 CoM's during this week. Each CoM had 20 tasks less than the usual amount, and the targets for the milestones were lower (as well as the points for the milestones). But adding those 3 CoM's together, there were more tasks to complete and more points from milestones to gain, than during a regular week. The Lightning CoM week wasn't repeated during seasons 26, 28 and 30. Lightning CoM weeks did return in the 5th week during seasons 27 en 29, this time with 2 CoM's that each lasted 72 hours. In season 27 the second Lightning CoM had double points; probably due to a mistake by the developers. Based on this pattern it is considered likely that there will be a lightning CoM week again in the 5th week of this season. Free and premium pass In the table below, "tier points" indicate the number of plumbob points needed to get to the indicated tier from the previous tier. "Total points" gives the number of plumbob points from start upto the indicated tier.
Calculation for the weekly average points: Taking the double points week into account, the "weekly av." number indicates what your average weekly plumbob points score should be during the first 5 weeks and double that amount in the final week, if you want to reach that tier by the end of the season. To get to tier 42 you will need 87k during the first 5 weeks and 175k in the final week. Premium-plus pass There is no weekly average calculated for the tiers of the premium-plus pass, because the average that you need depends on when you buy the premium-plus pass.
Buying it at the start of the season will let you advance the first 5 tiers (14,000 points). Buying the premium-plus pass at a later moment will let you advance 5 tiers from your position at the moment of buying.
Unfortunately this isn't the case at the end of the tier track. When you don't buy the pass when you have reached tier 42, you will still accumulate points but you no longer advance in tiers. Bying the premium-plus pass after reaching tier 42 will first advance you to tier 47. Then the extra points that you may have got after tier 42 will be taken into account and (if you have enough) will advance you further in the tiers.
Going from tier 42 to tier 47 will only save you 145k points. It is more profitable to buy the premium-plus pass when you have reached tier 37. That will bring you to tier 42, saving 194k points. Taking the double points week into account in a six week season you need 136k weekly and 272k during the double points week to reach tier 52, when you buy the premium-plus pass at the start of the season. When you buy it immediately after having reached tier 37, you need 110k weekly and 221k during the double points week to finish tier 52. When you are only interested in the new buildings (aiming at reaching tier 40), you could buy the premium-plus pass after having reached tier 35. Then it takes 50k weekly and 101k during the double points week to reach tier 40. Additional info -

2023.06.08 14:38 cheboy611 Anyone else just get another rivals tots player pick?
I finished all 90 games in elite division so this morning I had already gotten my 2 1 of 5 tots player picks, but I just logged into the companion app and got another one, anyone else had this happen? Also worth to note that I did not receive any of my league 1 player picks yet, so I hope this is not yet another mistake where they are giving out incorrect player picks.
