It was REALLY sing-songy and rhymed and also had english parts to the song. It went something like:

I got a real kick out of it and remember finding it on youtube. Googling turned up nothing because I have such little information to go on.

Respect Zeon Bell and Dufaux!
Zeon Bell, son of the king of the Demon World, is the older twin brother of Gash Bell, but despite being identical in appearances they had starkly different upbringings that resulted in Zeon being far more trained than Gash. In terms of physical abilities, spell power, and general knowledge, Zeon far outstrips Gash in all categories for the majority of the series.However, unlike Gash, Zeon does not possess their father's ultimate spell, Baou Zakeruga, which was sealed within Gash. For the majority of his life, Zeon greatly resented Gash, thinking that his hardships in life had been the result of Gash being the favoured child who was granted the ultimate spell and did not have to go through the torturous training that Zeon did. It was not until Zeon was defeated did he come to realize that neither of the two were beloved, with Gash going through his own separate traumatic childhood, and not being "gifted" Baou but cursed with it.
Dufaux, the wielder of Zeon's book, is an equally unique and powerful individual to Gash, at some point in his life he gained the ability Answer-Talker, allowing him to instantly receive the problem to any question he could think of. Due to this odd ability, Dufaux was sold by his own mother to a scientist who performed cruel tests on him for many years before leaving him for dead, only for him to be saved by Zeon. As a result of these events, Dufaux is an extremely threatening opponent who shows zero fear in the face of danger, coupled with his nigh-unbeatable Answer-Talker, these two were among the most powerful duo in the race to become king.
Physicals
Zeon displays exceptional strength for a demon of his size, and is shown to be one of the most physically capable demons in the entire series, even easily outdoing other demons who use spells to amplify their physiques.Strength
- Stops a high level demon spell with his bare hands
- Catches Leo's attack and flings him to the ground before shattering his staff with just his grip strength and pinning him to the ground with a single foot
- Shatters Leo's armour, breaks through his guard and sends him flying with a single kick
- Even after Leo uses his most powerful spell to grow into a giant demon that is "at least ten times stronger" Zeon is capable of easily battering him around without even using a spell
- Bats away his own reflected projectile with his bare hand.
- Launches a demon with a punch
- Rushes Apollo from several meters away and moves his hand too quickly for Apollo to avoid.
- Got behind Leo in mid-air and held onto his hair while remaining completely undetected.
- Moves so quickly he is capable of getting on top of Leo's head without him reacting, despite said demon staring directly at him and speaking to him.
- Traverses many meters in a burst of speed and gets right on top of his opponents
- Keeps up with Gash while he is using a spell that amplifies his speed
- Moves so fast he seems to create an after image and gets behind Gash's partner in the midst of fighting Gash
- Catches a crystal, bullet-like, projectile out of the air, though he is told where it is going to hit
- While there is no indication of the exact speed of the projectile, it is bullet shaped, fired from a gun-like weapon, and from a very far distance, far enough that they were incapable of spotting them with their sight, on top of being directed by an actual marksman.
- Dodges Umagon's charge and gets on top of him in the midst of the attack, despite Umagon's speed being praised on the very same page.
- Dufaux states that it would take Gash four years of physical training to match Zeon's speed
- Takes a blast of lightning from his father, the king of the demon world, and stands up on his own
- His hand is only bruised after being struck by a crystal traveling at high speed
- Fine after being purposefully struck by a bullet, and then struck by another directly in the chest.
- Purposefully takes a demon's most powerful spell and is relatively unharmed afterwards, despite it having enough power to damage his mantle.
- Without the majority of his mantle, gets struck by the ultimate lightning spell and survives, though is immobilized.
Spells
Like Gash, Zeon's spells are powered by lightning, however his spells are at such a level where even his weakest spells carry immense power and can massively damage other demons.- Creates a large pillar of lightning that chars a man and destroys his book.
- Again, calls down a pillar of lightning that creates a several meter wide charred crater in the dirt, this was done using his very weakest spell.
- Smashes a windmill to pieces with a single cast of his lowest level spell.
- Another demon is shocked by the strength of Zeon's weakest spell
- Blasts straight through another demon's high-level spell and badly injures him with a single cast of a mid-level spell
- One cast of a higher level spell is enough to completely overwhelm Leo in a giant amplified state
- His more powerful spells completely enrapture a demon in lightning and chars them entirely
- Even after Gash undergoes a notable increase in power, Zeon still overwhelms him in a clash of the very same spell
- He even states that this should have instantly killed Gash and his partner had they not fired their spell into the weakest point of his, this itself was only possible due to Gash's partner gaining Answer-Talker, which is described below in Dufaux's section.
- Creates a massive blade with lightning, being struck by it drops Gash to the ground and creates a large burst of electricity.
- Summons a massive bladed spinning yo-yo and carves through one of Gash's most powerful spells
- After an extended clash with Gash's ultimate spell, and with direction from Dufaux, Zeon's ultimate spell is capable of smashing through and defeating Gash's spell. (I cut out a lot of pages of dialogue, it's possible that Gash's spell became weakened due to it consuming his body, but it's not definitively stated one way or another.)
- Dispels a cloud of smoke with an omnidirectional burst of lightning.
- Hits a target from a long range with his beam, presumably this was far enough away that he could not physically see it.
- Takes out Umagon and Kyanchome with a single spell each
Magic
Unlike most other demons, Zeon possesses some ability to use magic outside of the spells in his spell book.Mantle
Zeon is capable of manipulating his mantle, extending and pull it as he pleases to deflect attacks and grant him additional mobility.
- Deflects a demon's spell with a simple flick of his mantle
- Blocks a huge fire from spreading, albeit a "weak" one.
- Extends his mantle a large distance, both deflecting one of Gash's blasts and slamming the ground with the same movement
- Completely shields himself from a high powered spell from Gash
- Acts as a platform for his partner to drop down onto
- Deflects a high speed projectile that bruised his arm previously
- Blocks a high level spell from an amplified demon
- Envelopes his partner and detaches from Zeon while carrying off Dufaux
- Manipulates Gash's mind and removes all memories of his time in the demon world, which was practically the entirety of his life.
- Creates a familiar that tracks down Kiyomaru and relays information to him before disappearing, he demonstrates the creation at a later point.
- Capable of hiding the amount of energy he produces
- Creates a "crystallization of his lightning" that can be given to others, though it is weaker than his real lightning.
- Returns the memories he stole.
- Transfers the power of his lightning to Gash.
- Transforms his hair into a letter.
Intelligence
- Immediately determines an attack was not intended to hit him and neither flinches nor moves in the face of it
- Allows an attack to hit him so he can determine the direction it came from
Dufaux
Zeon's book holder, Dufaux possesses an ability known as "Answer-Talker" which answers any questions he thinks of, even ones that he would have no knowledge of otherwise.Physicals
- Walks straight into an oncoming series of blades and ignores the wounds he takes.
- Avoids a series of oncoming projectiles by moving subtly at the last possible moment.
- Side-steps a bullet like projectile, albeit one that was weakened enough to kill him.
- Can read people's innermost thoughts by sticking his fingers in their head. Ok honestly I don't know what the fuck this is supposed to be or why he can do this.
- Directs Zeon to shoot a blast of lightning that slightly diverts an attack causing it to completely miss him.
- By simply thinking a question, an answer immediately pops into the head of those who possess the ability.
- Counters Gash's much stronger spell by directing Zeon with more precision.
- Manages to direct Zeon to hit Kiyomaru, despite him also possessing Answer-Talker.
- Outdoes Kiyomaru's exact same ability and is in position to counter his next move before he even starts it.
- Creates a recipe for a cure to an unknown disease that is made of exclusively ingredients that can be found locally.
- States that his ability can "find the answer to any problem in an instant" even such things as "where does x person live."
- Determines the best way for several demons to train in order to increase their powers by extreme amounts in a relatively short time.

It's looking like I will be moving to Houston for school this Summer, and will be staying for 4 years. Having been born and raised in Colorado, as well as completing my undergrad there, most of my identity is wrapped up in outdoor activities. Hiking, mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, etc. Name it and I've probably done it. With this move coming up, I am starting to look for ways to stay involved in my passions despite the obvious geographic limitations. Are there any good hiking areas around Houston? What about "mountain" biking? Or if not trail riding, what does road biking look like here? What is the best climbing gym in town (bonus points if it's close to the med center, which is where I'll be living). Also, how is Galveston for surfing? That is something I'd love to try my hand at as well. Basically I'm just looking for any useful tidbits for anything outdoors-related.
In addition to tips on different outdoor activities, does anybody know where I might look for other outdoor-minded people? I'm thinking climbing gyms would be a good bet, but other suggestions would be helpful as well. Cycling clubs, hiking groups, I'm open to anything.

I’d be interested to read about authors we loved when we were younger that stay with us to this day. Not the “classic” authors we’ve all heard of, rather the author you read for pleasure not because it was required reading in English lit.
I’ll start with three…
Nevil Shute I started reading his books in the 70s because he was my grampa’s favorite writer. Shute died in 1960 so obviously his books are from another era.
My favorites are The Trustee From The Tool Room which I found to be a story of how a seemingly small and little life has a worldwide influence. I recently reread it and still came to tears from the sheer beauty of the prose and the story. I love this book.
Also A Town Life Alice which is story of love and loss and hope. Again his prose is like reading poetry in the form of an enthralling story. The mini series was quite good.
Others I would mention are On The Beach, No Highway (movie was lovely), The Chequer Board and so many others.
Next would be Rumer Godden. In This House of Brede spoke to my heart when I was in high school. I don’t even know how many times I have re-read it. The movie does it no justice at all. Warning it takes place in a cloistered convent before Vatican II so the setting may be somewhat foreign to most people. It’s the story of a woman who gives up her high powered career to seek a life of contemplation in a cloister, which was not easy. I think the underlying themes remain relevant. And Godden can do prose to make your heart soar. She written other books of equal beauty worth looking at. The Greenage Summer, The Peacock Spring, Episode of The Sparrows to name a few.
E F Benson The Mapp and Lucia books
These books are so deliciously wickedly funny without a single reliance on cheap innuendo.
Lastly Thorne Smith (not to be confused with the singer)
His books take place in the 20s and 30s and they are hilarious. Topper and Night Life of The Gods are my two favorites.

I'm 37, she's 65. She is happily retired, just bought a house in Hawaii last year where she lives with my stepdad, who she married years after I moved out of the house.
She wasn't the worst mom or anything. It's just that every time we speak it really brings me down. She split up with my dad when I was pretty young so for a lot of my childhood she was a single mom, working 6-7 days a week and late in the evenings. I spent most of my time in daycare. I endured the teasing poor kids get wearing the cheapest clothes, watching the other kids eat nice meals and whatnot. I never resented her for that, in fact I grew to resent myself for being such a burden and causing her to work all the time. It seemed like I could never make her happy, I couldn't do the chores 100% of the time and I struggled in school.
She didn't want my dad in the picture at all and fought tooth and nail over it, even though I was close with my dad. He wasn't a drug addict or anything, just maybe a bit of a slacker. The reason I think she made such a big deal out of keeping him away from us is that the man she was seeing used to be friends with my dad and once he was with my mom he hated my dad's guts and made no reservations about telling me so. By extension he was pretty harsh to me as well, constantly criticizing me and yelling at me almost on a daily basis. Whether it was deserved or not it's hard to say. I struggled in school as I said, and struggled with depression and missing the parent who actually acted happy that I existed.
Anyway this all seemed more or less normal to me as these things do to kids who grow up in rough situations. I grew up and struggled, dropped out of college, was a vagabond for a few years, eventually got into working construction. It wasn't until some of my friends and peers began to have kids that I questioned how she acted towards me. How she scrimped and saved so she could buy a house (which she did when I was 14) not so much that she couldn't afford any time or support for me, it was her choice. She is very budget oriented and frugal and I was just a factor to account for in her bookkeeping.
In our adult life our relationship seemed to improve somewhat and she did offer some support here and there. The guy she had been with died unexpectedly when I was 18 and she found a new partner about a year after that who has always kind of resented me whenever I am around but in a more quiet and passive aggressive way rather than the yelling from before. I am very crafty and arty and was making handmade gifts for every Christmas/birthday/mothers day for a while but they were never really reciprocated so after a while I stopped putting in much effort. There are a few things the two of them did over the last ten years that were so disrespectful to my partner and I that my partner eventually decided he wanted nothing at all to do with them and would be angry at me for seeing them at all.
I'm in a rough patch right now. Partner and I split up last summer and so far I've been struggling to find a new direction in life. I could really use some kind of advice or guidance or support. I'm getting by ok, renting a room, have a small support network in terms of friends. I don't really need my mom's help but I do wish I had some sort of family. I talk to dad fairly often, he's barely scraping by on social security now, a little crazy and hard to talk to but he does check in and we have a good relationship considering everything that has gone on.
Anyway my mom sold the house she bought in 99, sale just closed the other day. She sent a text saying it had gone to a couple who were buying it for their child to attend the local university, I kind of lost it. Not that she should be buying me a house or anything, I was brought up to expect nothing, and appreciate any little thing I could get. I just don't want to think about the past anymore. I don't want to think about the nasty sexual notes that her ex (deceased) partner had written to me that I found in the house earlier this year and burned - the man who she begged me to just accept as part of the family when I was a teen, when she was in court fighting to not allow any contact between me and my dad. Imagine a couple who supported their kid and tried to help the kid have a bright future instead of treating them as an obstacle. I don't know if I would think of my mom as a narcissist, that doesn't quite fit. Just emotionally very cold.
I just broke down and called, (feeling guilty for ignoring the text), talked to her for an hour on the phone, trying to find some way to relate, talking about all the beautiful plants she is planting at her place in Hawaii and how I'm not sure where to go in life and how most successful people have some kind of support. Conversation went nowhere but she did mention we should talk more often. But I think maybe I'm done. She's the only mom I will ever have and she is getting older, I dunno. This is more of a rant than anything but I would appreciate anyone's input.

i feel like my bsf doesn’t want to talk/hang out with me. they’ve kept declining my offers to hang and then go out to hang with others. the thing is they don’t say they already have plans they just give whatver excuse or just a straight up no. which is fine. i’m not owed their time, i guess i’m worried bc i’ve had friends just completely drop me out of left field and they never addressed it with me despite my attempts to talk about it with them face to face. it started similarly as well (would talk over text but never commit to hang out).
it’s also a double whammy bc another close friend of mine came to town and crashed at my place and barely hung out with me (literally just came to sleep and would leave in the morning, if not then we would have idle chit chat. didn’t seem interested in doing much else with me) but hung with my bsf (also their bsf) and s/o a lot.
i could be completely in my head about this bc of past events. maybe i’m interpreting it in a different way that they didn’t mean it. and it’s only my side after all
idk what to do. i feel heavily rejected and all over the place. i want to block them and never speak to them again but ik i don’t have the whole image. i’m taking a break from talking to them or anyone for that matter, so i don’t blow up in their face. i’m also on my period and i’m very convinced i have PMDD which could make this 10x worse lol
i swear my period makes me overthink more than i already do, i read in b/w the lines and i can’t for the life of me not, take anything personally. i’m a mess and i feel so weird and out of my element. i project it onto people, i play victim. and i’m sure i’m just pushing them away bc of this. this is wack, i didn’t ask for this

2023.03.27 01:58 Ok-Goal-5855 How to get back on my feet
I (F22) feel like I’ve hit a little bit of rock bottom. Within this year, so the last 3 months. I have had two really big deaths in my family, bought a new car that someone immediately backed into. I’m also in the last semester (and one summer class) of my masters program in actuarial science and I feel like I’m struggling so hard and I’m getting help from tutors, but I still feel as though I’m super behind even though I’ve turned in and completed all assignments. My boyfriend of a little over a year who has become my best friend and biggest blessing recently deployed, so I went and visited my family 5 hours away for the weekend for comfort. I left around noon today so I can make it back for my full time (demanding) job tomorrow. While I was home nothing seemed wrong and actually seemed normal, the problem is my mom called me about an hour after I got back and told me she asked my dad for a divorce. I know this is something a lot of people go through me and my brother are super worried about my dad because even my mom said he did not know and was caught off guard. I guess a lot of things I’m still trying to wrap my head around. My mom said my dad never did anything wrong she just fell out of love, which I don’t fault her it’s life and I know it happens I’m just heart broken a little bit because they’ve been married for 25+ years and I’m so worried for my dad because of how blind sided he was. I still love my mom but we’ve had a rough rough past and can have trouble getting along.. I’m sorry I rambled but all of it together I just feel lost kind of and I’m not sure how to not feel lost and depressed anymore. I’m on my phone so I’m sorry for any bad grammar.
