I’ve (37M) been struggling with a breakup after a bad incident. I want to move on but I can’t stop thinking about her (38F). When we first met, we instantly connected with little effort. It was the first time that I have ever spent 8+ hours on a first date. We were very comfortable and enjoyed each other’s company. I could tell that she really liked me and I felt the same. Throughout the 3 month relationship, we became close and spent a lot of time together, including the winter holidays. Even though we were only together for 3 months, the time that we spent together felt longer, because it felt like we had known each other for a long time. Things between us seemed to be going great, with a couple hiccups, until the night of the incident.
The Incident
On the night of the incident night I had passed out on the couch. I had just experienced a painful accident in the kitchen which is how I ended up on the couch. She asked me to come to bed, but I was feeling too exhausted from the pain to move off the couch and just felt like resting and not move so much to not agitate my injury. Around 2AM, I was awoken to the sound of cups and dishes crashing into the kitchen sink. I guess she had grabbed the glass of beer from the coffee table that I hadn’t finished and forcefully threw it into the sink. She was seemingly irritated and started yelling at me about how she had to beg me to come to the bed and how she found it rude for guest to sleep on the couch at her place. At this point, I was feeling uncomfortable and decided that the best move was to go home for the night. As I went to grab my coat, she started throwing some of my belongings that I left at her apartment at me, as if she was kicking me out. On my out, she then threw glass jars in my direction. There was no confrontation from me up until she threw the jars. I just yelled her to stop throwing things. I left her apartment in distraught while she blew up my phone on my home.
The next morning, she seemed remorseful about what had happen, that she was worried, and that she didn’t deserve me. I had to take a couple days to myself to process what had happened. I couldn’t help but feel that I was a victim of abuse, that if it was like this now, then would it be like if I were to remain in the relationship. This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen her snap, but it was the first time that it felt like an attack at me. I had a strong uneasy feeling about it. I eventually called her after ignoring many of her missed calls and texts. We both seemed sad about what transpired. It was during this phone call, I told that I didn’t think I could continue on with the relationship. Honestly, I was really conflicted about what I wanted to do. I went to pick up the rest of my belongings at her place. It felt so surreal that it would be last time seeing her. We exchanged goodbye gifts, as if we were prepared for the end. She probably wanted to talk it out but I was still feeling mostly speechless. It was hard to bear seeing how sad she was. I know that she didn’t want to hurt me, that she acted out of anger. She admitted that she maybe not ready to date. She said that she wished that we had met a year earlier, perhaps because she felt that she was not at a worser place then. I feel like I lost my best friend.
She was going through somethings and she was working on herself through therapy and medication - grieving the death of a parent, depression, self harm, abandonment and insecurity issues. I emphasized with her because I am going through depression amongst other things as well. We both recognized this and wanted to help each other. I noticed that she was very also pessimistic at times. At some point I felt like I knew all the things she hated rather than what she she loved. But deep down in her, I know she has a heart. I know that I’m pointing out a bunch of red flags here, but I figured to leave some context to hopefully find explanation of the letter that she sent me 2.5 months after the break up.
The Letter
It’s been about 2.5 long months since I last saw her.
Besides a couple of apologetic text messages right after the breakup, there hasn’t been any contact between us, until she sent me a letter last week. I didn’t expect to hear from her at all. The letter wasn’t what I expected at all. It was full of resentment and frustration. She didn’t address it to me, or ask how I was, or say goodbye. I’m not sure what to fully make of it. It felt like something that she journaled and may have accidentally sent it to me. She used many strong adverbs throughout such as “always” and “never”. She says that I am selfish and that I took advantage of her kindness. She outlined my flaws to point out why she was “always” angry at me. She felt that I diminished her grief and judged her depression and constantly judged her and doubt her. Because of all this, she was “always” upset and annoyed with me.
I’m completely baffled by this letter. The words on this letter don’t sound like the woman that I fell for or remember. It pains me to see that she may not be processing the breakup well, that she has chosen to forget the good times and focus on what angers her, and that she may have put me in her long list of things she hates.
Did I cause her to behave the way she did? Was this my fault? Should I have tried harder to make amend things after the incident? Is she being abusive? Am I the asshole?
All I know is that I am still hurt by what she did and this letter feels like another attack.
We had many beautiful memories that outweigh the bad and my mind wants to keep remembering those moments. The woman that occupies my mind when I wake up and before going to sleep feels like a fantasy that mind is making up. This hurts because I can’t stop thinking about her and that I still care about her. I have no regrets about our time together. In fact, I cherish them. Am I a fool to do so?
I thought about sending a thank you letter for closure, but after this letter I feel like I don’t know her anymore. If I were to send her one, I wouldn’t mention the letter she sent, or mention the night of the incident, or flaws, or anything that I wished I would have do differently. Just a simple thank you and goodbye. I just want to close things on a positive not. Hit her back with kindness. I want her to know that I’m not angry at her, nor do I hate her. I really to do appreciate her. We did our best. I know we desperately wanted to make it work.
TL;DR - I dated a girl for 3 months and received a resentful email from her 2.5 months after the break up and I don't know what to make of it.

So the lost stories. For a short book considering 2 of the short stories were included in the first and second kill count respectively it took me time. Longer than it should have and I really need to pick up the pace now.
Anyways only really the first short story "the inkwell and the dagger" which covers Gilan going after Foldar as Halt is "banished" has many kills with most of them unfortunately not going to Gilan. Then there was 1 in by Will in the wedding and 1 by Will and Halt in the story following the roamers.

Hey all. Im keen to get back into shooters since I built my PC but Ive been having a hard time with some of the features.
Not getting much help from PC or audio subreddits and I want to get into apex so maybe someone here can help.
Ok firstly. My headphones. I thought I was being smart when I chose them. Sennheiser 450BT Not gaming headphones. Bluetooth and all that.
Had a touch of trouble with the PC bluetooth connectivity but I've managed to sort that with a bt dongle thing.
I was playing splitgate for ages but as soon as I would turn on the mic on the headphones, the game audio takes a back seat and I can hear myself breathing and yeah. No fun. Tried a few work arounds like having my old PS4 headset plugged in for the mic and then my sennies for sound and it was a cable nightmare. Used them for chat and had sound on my soundbar and it so far has been the best set up but I know people can hear feedback from my speakers through the mic.
Is there anything I should know? Like something obvious im glancing over. Would it be best for me to by some sort of table top usb mic or just retire these for gaming and get .. steelseries 7+ or something.
Thats all it is really. Im having a hard time getting into Apex alone. Also Ive been meaning to start streaming now that my PC has seemingly fixed its stability issues (im guessing win11 is getting better?) So a mic setup that would be multi purpose would be dope. I have roccat kb+m and was looking at the roccat usb mic. I dont care as much for the brand loyalty or anything, i just dont like having to have 10,000 different software on my pc for each peripheral. (Im looking at you, corsair ram sticks)

AMD processors without AMD PSP / Secure Technology
The above link is a list of the last AMD processors that do not include the Platform Security Processor. I am very glad the list exists…but I can't find any computer that uses any of them!
search with Google for queries like "FX-770K" PC, "PRO A6-8550B" PC, and "FX-4300" PC and I get almost 0 results for pages that talk about a computer that uses one of these chips.
Compare this to when I search for AMD G-T56N PC. I get results that mention computers that use the processor such as the HP t610, the fit-PC3, and others.
I don't get it. Did no one use the listed in the linked-to blog post?

Left to grab lunch, when I came back monitor was flashing repeatedly. Not a flicker, but like if someone was turning it on and off 3-4 times a second. Does it at any resolution, at any refresh rate. Any ideas? Other monitors are fine, and does it even when no input cable is connected.

Aspects aren't a terrible idea exactly, it's an easy way to actively update your skill tree /w functions on a patch basis. Rerolling or swapping skill trees around with changing aspects…. is something they can figure out.
The problem really is, most of the sh!t that passes as function on the skill tree. And getting to use very little of the meaningful mechanics, in one single build.
The majority of comments I've read for people referencing how classes "feels"; make no mention of good mechanics or interaction. Instead people seem to be focused on powerfulness or clear time.
There are things that do feel and function better than ever. And there are entire components of skill trees and kits, that are feedback-less clicking.
I think it's lost on people how low they set the bar for consistency across all skills, and class tailored mechanics. it's clearly not about ease of use, or layering player skill. It's the design philosophy, it's not going to change and it's unlikely improve.
Quick examples:
the rogue's skill block of "imbuement" skills. That passing as design, is philosophy, nothing else. On the other hand, the Rogue validates their approach to basic attack generators in a way no other character does.
Counter to that, the Sorcerer has enough interesting function that they could fill "4 interesting core spells." Currently Chain lightning is the best "feeling" iteration, of any chain lightning in any game. But the generators are 3+1 bolt powers.
There was a blatantly missed opportunity to tailor class mechanics for how generators and core mechanics interact. Things that can't be patched with implementation of item aspects or skill nodes.

How could this have been conceptualized, if function was prioritized? With One skill selection (for basic + core) over two "level blocks" (with double the branching and crossing pathing options)
Example#1: package Firewall and Incinerate. At base, can have one firewall active, incinerate's stream increases intensity as it passes through the wall. (damage with firewall generates resource)
then think of anyone of the countless potential actions.

a) Reduce the length of firewall and incinerate, But when incinerate passes through firewall, its stream can extend and redraw the bounds of firewall. b) incinerate reinforces a small area where it passes through firewall, slowing and reducing the damage of any incoming projectiles or monsters that move through. C) with thoughtful interactions, even very simple things could create significance; increase the number of active firewalls to 2. 

Example#2: chain lighting and charge bolt. At base, chain lightning that bounces back to your staff releases charge bolts, Recall actively increases the gravity of your staff.
…..Again a million potential actions. Simple things greater effect, etc, etc.

I would rather see them simply condense skill trees so that more builds could have more functions. Some of this is simple enough to get done in the launch window /w production check list.
As an example; the Barbarian has 3 of 4 generators, and 3 of 5 core skills that have bare bone functionality. 70% of the choices you can make, for 70% of what you will be doing….is clickyness.
Solution: Take 3 of the 5 core skills, and roll them into their respective attack generator - to proc every (x) number of attacks. Create a third core skill that uses said "combo feature" as an active skill + adds whatever interesting aspect.

There are many examples of good and bad, But it's too obvious that "core and basic" gameplay functions didn't have to merit themselves whatsoever. Open world story mode buys, and a subset of people to play for the loot table….
Maybe they could give a f#&k about the gameplay. Maybe they misinterpreted what success they could mime from PoE components. They certainly don't share 100% of the design goals. But nowhere is it more clear than in the summoning, curse & aura skills; that one offers something, and the other offers an absence of any motivations. They put the cart before the horse, and the cart is filled with sh!t. If they shovel well they can have a good game on their hands, but it's never going to be great.

I'm running Stremio on Nvidia Shield TV and add ons OpenSubtitles and Community OpenSubtitles. When I'm watch The Adventurers with Andy Lau, English subtitles works fine but Chinese subtitles are shown as random alphabet characters. Almost like there's no fonts to support Chinese text. Any ideas?

I'm planning to build a new PC to replace my old one I built 7 years ago that is definitely starting to show its age. The only intensive task it will be used for is playing games. Don't intend on overclocking.

Okay, hear me out on this. A while ago, Mat made a theory where he suggested that the Glamrock animatronics are re-skinned Toy animatronics, because of the similarities in design. He’s also made numerous theories surrounding the Puppet, its role in the whole story, and the mask appearing as part of the Blob.
But recently, when he posted his GTLive video talking about the character encyclopedia, something popped into my head, and now it won’t go away, so here you are. I know it's insane, and more than likely completely impossible, but I got bitten by a theory bug, and now I'm here.
What if the Toy Animatronics weren’t the only thing from the FNAF 2 location that were repurposed/reskinned/reused? What if the Puppet’s design and some of the coding was reused to create Sundrop/Moondrop, a.k.a. the Daycare Attendant?
Let’s start with the obvious things, their appearances. Both characters have a very slender body with long arms and legs. They have fairly fluid movements in comparison to their animatronic counterparts. They also have semi-humanoid facial features, albeit modified and made more cartoonish. Not to mention that both Security Puppet and Moon can fly using string and/or a cable system, something that literally no other character has.
Now, that could just be them reusing design elements, but the behaviors/encounters make me think that they reused/repurposed the coding as well. Think about their general purposes. They were both designed with watching or protecting kids in mind, Security Puppet to stop kids from leaving the restaurant, and Sun/Moon to watch kids in the daycare. But if you try to leave the area where Sun is, he will come, pick you up, and bring you back to where he can watch you, just like Security Puppet. In addition, both characters are very organized and rigid in their behaviors, albeit in slightly different ways given the settings they are in and how advanced their systems are. Sun/Moon insists on cleaning up and making sure kids follow the rules, while the Puppet was literally designed to enforce the rule of kids staying in the restaurant.
Finally, and what I think is the biggest piece, is just how neurotic Sun/Moon is about finding and keeping the kids in sight. If the Security Puppet mini-game showed us anything, it’s that the Puppet will stop at nothing to protect Charlotte. However, it fails. Charlotte dies, and the two merge together. Now, fast forward to Security Breach and the Pizzaplex. If you do actually manage to get away from Sun, you can actually hear him freaking out about finding you. What if this is the remnant, the AGONY of the original Puppet coding, not wanting to fail another child?
What remains of the Puppet, the security device of an older pizzeria, remembers that it wasn’t able to do its job, and a child died. We know these animatronics are at least somewhat sentient. What’s left of the Puppet is terrified of losing track of another child, of failing again, of having another child they were responsible for die because they couldn’t do their job. They can’t fail again.
They may not have been the first, they may not have seen everything, but they know what happens to animatronics that fail. They saw the Toy Animatronics get scrapped for not doing their job right. They saw the others become like animals, attacking adults, not doing their jobs and burning for it. They will not fail again.
But then the child that they were trying to protect, to watch over, turns off the lights, breaks the only rule they set. And now, both of them must face the consequences.
Anyways, that’s just a theory, a “oh my gosh more FNAF content from MatPat, hey that sounds familiar, wait, what if” theory. Thanks for reading.

ATX cases, black/darker colours, windows yes, pref. light or no lighting, going for a black/ambewood color theme, black components are nice, but I know how to paint if that is cheaper.

I think so, I saw somewhere there are free sources, but a usb version might be safer

I've been waiting for a fractal north case, if it doesn't become available by the time I order the rest I will buy a diff case.
I'd like to use an AIO for the build, but I've heard it is wise to use the built in fans that come with pc cases instead for lower mid builds like I want so that's fine.

Here is a build that I kind of slapped together in pcpartpicker, but I have a feeling it's not great

The list of potential Juryo promotees looks pretty straightforward since Tohakuryu lost today meaning he will remain in Juryo. There's only been 5 rikishi with 10+ wins and only 3 of those are anywhere near promotion territory - Ichinojo, Asanoyama, & Gonoyama have all got scores that should see them promoted, but of course this involves an equal number coming down...
Azumaryu and Bushozan are no-brainers - neither did well enough to stay up. Even though there's been some woeful performances, most rikishi should be safe. The only two I can envisage possibly going down are Oho (7-8 @ M15w) & Kagayaki (5-10 @ M12e). Both are very borderline - ordinarily, Oho would only drop to M16w at worst, but there's still going to be a M17e slot you'd assume, so do you drop him to M17e or do you put someone else below him? Equally, Kagayaki deservers to drop to around M16. Could one of them feasibly drop into Juryo to allow the impressive Gonoyama to come up? I'd like to see it, but I'm not at all confident

howdy all and happy Sunday! Looking to Trade, Sell, or Buy today! I just upgraded to an Xbox X so looking to get rid of this little guy, console is in great condition, will come with power cable and HDMI that came in the box, plus these little 3d printed feet/stands that I thought looked cool and helps with airflow.
only minor caveat is controller, its the original that came with the console, and has a small black mark that I suspect is from my GFs grubby hands covered in nail polish. Also she thought it was a good idea to attempt Elden Ring while I was away, and when I got back the X and B buttons were slightly sticking (probably from panic rolling and chugging flasks). Gave the controller a quick clean though and now it works great.

Yes i understand true load balance isn't a real option unless worked with your ISP.
I currently have an OPNsense router. works flawless, setup when i or the family want to watch tv or do whatever.
I have 3 WAN inputs 2 towers and starlink. for the most part each connection gives me 100m down. and have no issues. Upload is the issue, the multi wan works great. yes its not a true load balance but works great.
i have 3 connections at one location and fiber 1.5 gig up/down and another.
i can't find any information on how to setup a multi wan connection from OPNsense router to OPNsense router. Cottage to House

Since my 3 connections are natted and cause me a headache. but home with fiber no issues. yes theres work arounds. but i figured if someone had any info on 3 ipsec tunnels from OPNsense to OPNsense and out the fiber would work better then the work around
