past week, we saw some shit.
Monday we saw a nice run get fucked over by a shadow halt or whatever the hell happened with the CTA tapes.
Tuesday was ups and downs. Wednesday was the usual earnings fuckery, with the added bonus of Furlong's departure being announced, and a subsequent massive attack on our stonk.
then we see this ledger business.

This last is what's really on my mind. There's enough fud flying around out there without apes tearing each other apart over whether or not their name is found on the share voting list. people are being doxxed (with permission or not, whatever,) over this.
There's calls for people to get verified. to dox themselves.
This smells like some sort of fucked up way of tearing apart the community. Maybe it's not intentional. Maybe people are meaning well. Maybe, maybe maybe...
The end result is going to be the same. Division.
We say that "APE" stands for "All People Equal." this isn't a call to be 'nice'. Some people want you to think it is. no. It's an ideal. The ideal that it doesn't matter if you hold ten shares or ten thousand. that it doesn't matter if you're rich, well educated, or dirt poor.
Everybody whose here is an ape. We all care about the stock, we all hold the stock. I'm DRS'd, but I have no need to prove it to any of you. And you have no need to trust me, either.

SO WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH YOU ASSHOLES CALLING FOR PROVING DRS BY LOOKING AT THE 'LEDGER' THING

No. Seriously. WHAT THE FUCK. Are we apes or are we hedgies? Are all apes equal? Or are some more equal than others? it's the hedgies who fight each other, who stab each other in the back to get ahead. That's their tactic.
At what point do is it enough to be a "True APE"? maybe if I have xx shares registered? am a I true ape? what about xxx? What about our brother and sisters- all true apes- holding internationally? whose only brokers are shit and won't let them DRS? what about people holding in IRAs?

Fuck me... don't you get it? These calls are in direct position to the spirit of the community. It's even the first rule in this sub. ... ...

And before you get at it, "what's the big deal?"... DON'T you get it? I believe in the MOASS. I belieave the hedgies are fucked. I believe it's only a matter of time (maybe a lot of time, sure,) Before we all earn life-changing sums of money.
if you believe that, too, then you should be aware that protecting your privacy now matters. More than you can possibly imagine. You get doxed, now, you stay doxed. the kind of money attracts all sorts of unsavory people. you're literally endangering your life, and doxing people is literally endangering theirs.
NO, I am not exaggerating. This is truth. you think you won't suddenly have long lost cousins showing up, or you think your family won't be a target when they go off to a summer vacation someplace fun? abducted and held for ransom? You think the never-give-a-fuck-again kind of money is really going to be that?
Our first line of safety is privacy, and maintaining it now. some of you are going to scoff. I know I've more or less said all of this before, elsewhere. Don't scoff. Don't argue. Just think about. Once you're doxed, you stay doxed. Once people know you have money... they'll look out for you. Some will just be annoying. Some will want stock tips. Some will just gossip about you. But some will want to steal yours. or run a con on you. Or hurt you because they used to be rich and we fucked them over.


next week is going to be crazy again. reddit blackouts hit Monday. Trump arraignment Tuesday, annual meeting Thursday. who knows what else is going to happen. We're going to be wondering who to trust.
And the answer to that is simple. Don't trust anyone. check their sources, look at their conclusions. Logic and reason are what's going to get us through this. If the facts in their sources are correct, and the conclusions they draw from it are sound, you don't need to trust them. facts remain true regardless of who says them. For example, we all know that DRS is the way. Does that change if Kenny comes down and says DRS is the way?
(okay, so I'll be wondering if somethings maybe changed... I'm human, too.)
What's not going to help is purity tests. that just makes an In-Group. and an Out-Group. It's not a tool of inclusion, but of exclusion. Yes, holding GME in pure-book is best. Yes. plan shares are second best. but it's most important to simply hold GME.

Hey all. Currently dealing with some end of the month expenses and looking for a loan through to next monday. I can repay 820 euro on Wednesday 14th of June and can provide proof that I'll have income on that day. Please let me know if any additional info is needed.
I think the loanbot thing is going to show a similar loan from December as outstanding, but it was repaid, I just haven't been able to reach the lender to mark it as paid.

Hey everyone, as we earnestly approach the next arc of my story when it comes to exploring the world beyond Vitmori's mountain and forest, I find myself having a bit of writer's block. So I hope that while I'm still working things out, you all don't mind several chapters of this sidestory following the future Emperor and his otherworlderly Empress and their first meeting.
First
Ferodias POV / 10 Years Earlier
The morning had come before long, the smell of delectable bug legs wafting through the air as Monty made breakfast during the last watch. Ferodias stirred from his place in the tree he had decided to sleep in, claws flexing and digging into the tree bark as he stretched his flexible feline body and yawned audibly. While he did have his own tent, Ferodias and Brasyl had given up their tents to the noble ladies so they could sleep in relative comfort. Brasyl, for one, didn't mind sleeping in the open air. As for Ferodias, he had long since grown accustomed to rougher living and was not unfamiliar with napping in trees during his youth.
"Mornin Rodi." Monty called up to Ferodias, looking up from his space beside the grill as he worked hard to ensure the meal would taste even better than yesterday's since he had a little more experience with this particular protein. "What's the plan today?" He asked, adding another leg to a growing pile of cooked legs on a wooden plate.
Ferodias let out a deep sigh of delight as he managed to pop his back, finding the relief he was looking for before slumping back against the tree trunk he had been sleeping against. "I... " He started to say before yawning again as his left ear flicked. "Don't know." He said simply, looking down at Monty before scratching the back of his head. "I'm thinking we head back to that farming village that made the commission, sure we'll have to backtrack a little, but between the fact that there are potential bandits in the area and the state those noble ladies are in; we're better off getting a farmer to give us a ride in their cart." He explained as he decided to make his way down to the tree, soon settling down across from Monty around the fire.
Monty nodded intently, grabbing a plate and setting two cooked bug legs on it before passing it over to Ferodias. "Sounds good to me. Maybe I can get a good deal on some crops and other goods before they hit the market stalls in the city." He mentioned with a bit of a smile as he went back to his work. "Besides, I'm sure the people will want to help, even if not out of the kindness of their hearts." Monty said simply, though that earned a curious head tilt from Ferodias as Monty smiled kindly before continuing. "They'll help either because we just saved them a lot of trouble by dealing with those bugs, thus earning their favor, or they'll help us in the hopes that their 'gracious' deeds will earn goodwill with their local lord and maybe get some breaks on taxes or things like that." He explained before shrugging a bit.
"I see..." Ferodias said thoughtfully, having taken the plate and gone about cracking the bug chitin. "Well, either way, it'll be easier on the ladies, and we can rest our own feet while we're at it." He considered before biting off a chunk of bug meat.
Regan was the next to wake up, fully dressed this time as he stretched and grunted before rubbing his eyes. "Morning..." He murmured before taking a seat around the fire with his pack in his lap as he rummaged through it. He then took up a small vial with green liquid after a minute or so of looking. He took a moment to eye the contents before uncorking it and downing the vial, though he immediately shuddered and made a face. "Blech... Last time I cheap out with an herbalist." He muttered miserably.
"What was that?" Ferodias asked between bites while gesturing at the bottle with his tail.
"Some kind of energy drink, the ingredients that they told me were in it sounded right according to my research, but it may be a knock-off, the taste wasn't nearly as good as I heard it was supposed to be." He explained as he smacked his lips, chasing down the energy drink with water from his skin before corking it and putting it away.
"Did you not sleep well or something? Bug nightmares?" Ferodias asked, licking at his teeth as he attempted to free a chunk of meat that was stuck between them. Though he looked genuinely concerned for his friend as he watched Regan.
Regan scoffed at the notion of nightmares, glancing over at Ferodias before flashing a smile. "Nah, nothing like that, I just used more mana than usual. I would prefer a longer rest in order to recuperate better, but we would be better off resting in a town rather than attempting to get a couple of extra hours of shut-eye in the woods." He explained, yawning as he took up a plate of bug legs. "Though I will say, the only good thing about bugs is that they sure do taste good." He mused, digging in with no complaint as he cracked the chitin.
Before long, everyone else started to wake; Brasyl not saying much as he immediately started digging into breakfast. Danica was next, ruffling Monty's hair as she passed him to go into Ferodias and Brasyl's tents, checking in with the ladies. Danica was quick to leave the tent Historietta was staying in. However, she lingered in the tent with the other two ladies. Ferodias could hear quiet sniffling and sobbing coming from the two women, his ears twitching while Danica did her very best to comfort them. His heart did go out to those ladies. They likely haven't really experienced the world, and this was their first bitter taste of it. He hoped that it wouldn't drive them from society altogether, but it wasn't anything he could really control. Well... He could do his best to show them that the world altogether isn't cruel like their kidnappers, but it will be up to them to take the message to heart.
Historietta emerged from the tent she was staying in, looking fairly rested and leagues better than she had last night. Her throat and face still looked discolored from the lingering bruising that had been left over last night. Otherwise, she appeared to be in fair spirits. Ferodias couldn't help but steal a few glances at her. She was wearing his clothes after all, and she certainly wore them better than he ever would. She managed to catch him staring and smiled in response as she walked over to the fire and settled down beside him before looking at Monty as he passed her a plate. "Thank you, sir, I'm grateful for the meal." She said politely, her voice sounding even nicer than the night before if that was possible. She ate well too, casually breaking the chitin and eating without reservation, even the other ladies attempted to be modest and polite with how they ate last night, but it seemed Historietta didn't seem to mind her manners. She caught Ferodias watching her again, flashing a mischievous smile as she wiped her lips with the sleeve of her shirt. "Don't you know it's rude to stare at a lady while she's eating?" She teased almost coyly.
Ferodias could feel his cheeks heat up under his fur, pointedly averting his gaze as the other guy snickered at his expense. "S-sorry, I don't exactly have a lot of experience with noble ladies..." He lied, glancing over at her as his ears waggled. "But I was under the impression that most ladies were rather picky and haughty for the most part, I just... Well... I..." He started stammering a bit, not sure what else to say without accidentally offending her as he anxiously scratched his cheek.
Historietta snickered softly as she sipped at a cup of water before looking over at Ferodias more pointedly. "I've gone through this before, and I have a little experience with survival camping and roughing it. Honestly, I'm doing a lot better right now than I originally planned thanks to you and your merry band." She mentioned, sounding genuinely grateful at that point as she looked at the other guys before looking back to Ferodias. "Try everything once. It is a motto I live by." She said as she worked on cracking the other bug leg on her plate. "It helped me to keep an open mind about many things and allowed me to experience things I would have otherwise missed out on." She explained as she took a bite of bug meat, taking a moment to chew and swallow before continuing. "Of course, moderation is to be exercised with a motto like mine, but it's gone okay so far." She said with a smile.
Ferodias was unsure how to move forward, not used to being on the backfoot around other nobles, let alone noble girls around his age. Yet she displayed a rather unique sense of maturity that threw him off. It was refreshing, and he found himself wanting to get to know her more while he still could at least. He was gonna speak up again when Danica emerged with the other noble ladies; those two looked pretty bad. If he was being honest, they looked exhausted and emotionally drained, among other things. They didn't say much besides their thanks after receiving some food and water. After a while longer, Ferodias spoke up again as he looked among his party and the ladies. "Alright, everyone, we're gonna be backtracking today and heading towards one of the farming villages in the area. From there, we're gonna see about hiring or buying a cart and taking the road back to the city. This way, we can save on energy and avoid more danger than we need to." He explained as he looked among his party. He got nods of approval all around, though it looked like Historietta had something on her mind.
"You're doing this because of us, aren't you?" She asked, sounding almost regretful, if not a little disappointed as she looked at the other ladies. The other ladies averted their gazes but didn't say anything in response as they had no footing to argue with a Count's daughter. Before Ferodias could respond, she looked back at him, gazing intently into his eyes. "I shall reimburse you once we get to the city. It's the least I can do." She said, no room for argument in her voice.
Though Ferodias attempted to argue anyway as he looked over to her. "What? No, there's no need for that. You're in our care. It's only right to make sure you're looked after and supported, especially when you are so far from home." He retorted, his ear flicking as he watched her. "This isn't a job or a request. This is just people helping people." He said more gently as he finished up his breakfast.
Historietta quirked a brow, staring Ferodias down before flashing a smirk as she finished up the last of her food and stood, looking him over when she met his gaze and spoke up. "Noblesse Oblige, it is the duty of those who are well off and in positions of power to behave morally upright and act for the benefit of those in their care, to watch out for those who we are responsible for. You have done me a great service, and you did so freely and at an inconvenience to yourself and those who follow you. It would be a disgrace if I did not compensate you for your services." She stated with a grin before starting to step away. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some flowers to pick." She said simply as she moved away from the group.
The others ate in silence for a little while longer before getting to their feet to start packing up camp now that breakfast was done. However, Ferodias was lost in thought, occasionally glancing in the direction he had last seen Historietta before going back to his packing. He was in awe of her. She had brains, ferocity, compassion, worldliness, and a strong sense of duty. He never heard of the concept of Noblesse Oblige, but it was something he knew he was going to live by if he ever ascended to the throne... No... When he ascended to the throne. By the time she had returned, the camp was packed, and they were ready to go. The walk, in itself, was uneventful. Feeling more along the lines of a simple hike through the woods if it wasn't for the quiet whimpering of sore noble feet. Ferodias felt that the ladies were at least lucky in the sense that they had been kidnapped while they were wearing flats, he couldn't even imagine having to run or even hike in heels like they would have likely worn at the banquet they were coming from. Though he was more impressed by Historietta once again, the noble lady having kept pace with him as he walked at the head of the group.
As a group, they had to stop multiple times for the other two ladies, the whole walk taking much longer than Ferodias would have liked, though they eventually ended up at the village as the sun began its descent into the horizon, smoke stacks rising into the sky as families no doubt got ready for dinner. As they neared the village gate, a militia guard came out to meet the party, the man flashing a smile as he recognized Ferodias and his group. "Ah, good evening adventurers. I take it you're back from the hunt?" He asked pleasantly, though he only just then noticed the ladies, looking curious but waiting for Ferodias to speak.
Ferodias offered a kind smile as his tail curled behind him. "Good evening. Yes, we finished the hunt. Thirty-seven bark bugs have fallen by our hands." He enthused before clearing his throat. "In all actuality, we are here on more serious matters, we found three noble ladies who had been kidnapped and are now escorting them. We are looking to hire anyone with a cart or a wagon willing to go to the city." He said, his ear flicking as he considered something else. "In fact, we are willing to escort a group of wagons with produce and goods for free if you'll allow the ladies to ride along as passengers." He offered, though before the guard could respond, Ferodias reached into his coin pouch in his pack and procured eight silver pieces, and placed them in the guard's hand. "Bring this to your village head. Tell him that we are also looking for room and board for the night if anyone is willing to take us in."
The guard stammered a bit at the overload of information, taking a moment to consider everything Ferodias said as he glanced over at his fellow guard who had been standing at the village gate. He then looked back to Ferodias and his party before lowering his head with a nod. "Very well, ser adventurer, come in and wait, I'll go fetch the village head." He said, taking one curious look at the ladies before allowing them through the gate and hurrying off to find the village head.
"Well, it looks like we'll get to rest with a roof over our heads, at least." Regan said with a bit of a smile, rolling his shoulders before leaning on his staff, looking admittedly worn out.
"Maybe we'll get some fresh vegetables and soft bread too." Monty mentioned as he flashed a grin. "These village mother types always cook the best foods for the soul." He mused cheerfully.
"Oh gods, soft bread." Danica parroted almost dreamily. "Probably freshly baked too." She considered with a smile.
"Alright, alright, enough talking about food. You're making me hungry." Ferodias mused as he looked among the party. Two of the ladies had taken to sitting against some random crates along someone's fence line, looking especially exhausted. But Historietta seemed to be fine overall. If not as tired as Ferodias' group, she caught him watching her again and only offered a smile but didn't say anything while they waited.
Before long, the guard returned with an older rabbitkin man. He appeared to be in his late fifties but stood strong and tall as he smiled at the group. "Welcome back, adventurers. I'm glad to see your safe return and hear of your success. It seems we have business to talk about, but for now, let's get you all inside and fed, I'll have someone draw water for baths, no doubt you all are rather weary and could use some creature comforts." He said as he looked at everyone.
Ferodias smiled before lowering his head out of polite respect and looked up at the village head. "Thank you for your hospitality." He said politely, his left ear flicking contently.
The rabbitkin flashed a charming grin. "Thank you for your work. It's thanks to you that we won't have to worry about our fall crops later this year." He expressed before turning to lead the group.
Historietta came up beside Ferodias and smiled as she nudged him with her elbow. "You handled all that pretty well, good work, mister adventurer." She mused almost playfully before looking after the rabbitkin man and speaking more softly into Ferodias' ears, causing them to waggle at the sensation of her breath. "He's a good man. You can trust his sincerity." She whispered before stepping away and rejoining the other ladies.
Ferodias could feel his face warm up, his heart thumping at the sudden interaction he had with Historietta. He wasn't sure how she knew what she knew or how she even knew that he had some doubts about the village head, but he'll admit it was something that he was vaguely worried about. But if someone of her character said he could trust the village head, then he would let his worries rest. It's strange though, how is it that he could so readily trust the opinion of a girl he barely met a day ago? Maybe Regan was right. Maybe he really is hopelessly in love with that girl already.

2023.06.10 10:32 No-Researcher-7529 How to cope when Work anxiety is keeping me up at night

I have been having the worst anxiety about work over the weekends, so much that it is keeping me up and causing random bursts of panic. For example, it’s 4:30 am and I am up worrying if I misunderstood an email and didn’t send out an agenda for a meeting later this week. In the grand scheme is it a big deal? No. Am I going to essentially panic all weekend? Yes. I know there is nothing I can do about it until Monday, but I really can’t find a way to cope and put it in the back of my mind until then.

In a few years from now I will graduate college and work. I am wondering about where I should live or what place is right for me. Right now I live in a small town in Indiana. I was thinking about moving to a somewhat bigger city in Indiana, but now I’m not to sure if I want to stay here or not. One of my friends thinks I would like it in Japan and another thinks I would like it in California. So I’m going to list my preferences for what kind of area I would want to live in or just random information that might make a difference.
-I prefer to live in a suburban type area. (Somewhere that isn’t a huge city but not a small town either.)
-I want to live in a house. I would hate living in an apartment building forever.
-I would want to have my own car and drive it around. I don’t think I would like being in a subway all the time.
-I don’t want to live somewhere that has a high crime rate. I want there to be little crime.
-I want to live in a safe place. I don’t want to deal with dangerous places weather that be people or issues with nature.
-I think it would be cool to live in a beachy area but I also don’t want to deal with hurricanes.
-I think it would be cool to live in California but they have a lot of wildfires and things are expensive there. But maybe it wouldn’t matter if I made a lot of money.
-I want a decent sized backyard. I want to own a trampoline.
-I don’t plan on having kids and I probably won’t get married either.
-I want to be able to walk around and get exercise.
-I would want there to be nice places to shop.
-I don’t want to live in a boring place with nothing to do.
-I would love to explore my city and go to new places in it and walk around a lot.
-I would prefer to be in a liberal area. I would want to be around people that are pro lgbt.
-If I ever got raped and got pregnant I would want to get an abortion.
-I want to live around kind and chill people.
-I want it to be quite around my house, or at least pretty quite. As for in town I don’t care as much.
-I can’t handle supper hot environments. I have been to Florida and it’s too hot for me. I wouldn’t prefer to live in a super cold environment either but if I had to choose I would prefer a cold environment over a hot one. But a place with like a 60 degree Fahrenheit temperature would be nice.
-I don’t want to live in a poor area. I want to live in a place that I would make a lot of money from or at least a decent amount. (I plan on becoming an interior designer.)
-I would probably need to live in a somewhat busy city for my job. There aren’t many interior design jobs in small towns.
-I would probably prefer to live in the U.S. If I did move to a different country I would probably go to Canada.
-I hate super busy traffic.
-I get lost easily and I need to use a GPS a lot.
-I don’t know if I really care about being around relatives. A lot of my friends and family live out of state and my parents and grandparents and a couple of other relatives live in Indiana. I wouldn’t mind not seeing them all the time.
-I would want to live in a house that’s modern, minimalistic, and an average size.
-I would prefer to live at least somewhat close to work.
-I don’t want to work more than 40 hours a week. A couple of hours less would be cool. I would want a lot of vacation breaks. I would not want to work on the weekends. I would probably like a normal Monday through Friday 9-5 job.
-I would prefer to stay in one area and not move around all the time.
-I have a tree but allergy so even if I did move to a random country I would have to be careful about the food. I also hate seafood.
-I want to do my own laundry at my house.
-I like cloudy weather the best.
-I hate snow and ice and I get super anxious when driving in the winter.
-I don’t like wind and I don’t care for super sunny weather.
-I don’t mind rain that much.
-I don’t want to be in a super foggy place.
-I want to be able to hang out with friends on the weekends.
So based on this information, what place do you think would fit best for me? Thanks!

2023.06.10 09:39 H3avyW3apons Miles Morales "imma do my own thing" is a bit too meta / post movie ramblings

Honestly dont even know if that is the right title for this but this is one of the few things that were bugging me about this otherwise pretty great movie.
Lets get the highlighst out of the way first:
-I love what they did with spot, both naratively as well as the visuals
-Visually great, though might be a bit too overlaoding at times
-I thought all the previous spiderman references were neat, spectacular you were taken away from us too soon
-I think they did multiverse really well in presentation, dr strange has nothing on this, my favourite is probably the davinchi vulture.
I feel like that the whole canon thing in spiderverse as well as miles being the anomaly is probably the weakpoint of the movie, plotwise. I think this plot point was made due to the real world issue people have with the comic character and how people see him as just a spiderman derivative, which he kinda is despite them trying to say otherwise since he most of his rouges gallery is mostly just the normal spiderman ones and that a lot of the race/gender swapped characters were, in part, made to screw the orginial creators out of royalties. The messaging is that miles is his own thing yet still uses the spiderman name instead of his own hero name and that he has the same powers (but better) feels hypocritical, both in and out of universe. I feel like the whole canon thing is kinda contrived, made purely just so they can do the imma do my own thing.
Also, dont really like how punk spiderman just makes his own multiverse watches offscreen. I feel like there should have been more to that plot thread. Also somehow miguel doesnt notice all the stuff hes been stealing, and neither does his ai.
Also also, I think gwen needs to take more blame for this as well since the spot got more spots since she went to hang out with miles instead of doing her job and then maybe sneaking off to go see him after stopping the spot. Also the fact that they seems to only send in one spider person to deal with the spot at a time with gradual renforcements instead of just multiple from the get go given that there are so many of them feels contrived.
Problems other stuff people have already probably pointed out but imma list anyway:
-Dad peter being incredibly irresponsible with his daughter
-Pregnant spiderman being incredibly irresponsible with her unborn child, which in the time skip still isnt born or at least at that point she shouldnt be active.

I've just been suspended (with pay) pending investigation at work. My manager pulled me into the office this morning and told me to turn in my badge and to go get my things and then walked me out.
They said HR is gonna get in contact with me either tomorrow or Monday to tell me what this is all about, and that they can't say anymore. I'm in the total dark. Not gonna lie I have stolen so I'm afraid it'll be about that. I mean why else would they be so secretive?
What evidence do they need to have of me stealing and what's the worst punishment they can give me? I mean can they make this into some criminal office where it stays on my record for all my future jobs to see? Or will they simply sack me?
What are my rights right now and what should I do? Should I confess if they mention anything about stealing or should I try to deny it? Should I get a lawyer?
Worth mentioning I don't care about keeping the job, I just want my record to be clean since I'd like to get my dream job in a few months.
Any help is appreciated

I'm at the point in the novel where Klein goes to deal with the Parasyte that's been bugging Hazel just after he got back from the arms deal in the south. 
I've been scared with a few pathways and how they make people go crazily evil.
Rose Bishop, Shepperd, literally playing with people as if they're a clay toy ready to molding. Killing and stealing their abilities. It's terryfing to think what one would have to do in order to digest a potion. The Marauder that's lead to lie and screw people constantly getting to a point of inserting themselves inside people's minds and using them.
But then, imagine a villain as the seer pathway:
Seer Clown Magician = They don't appear evil at all, some of the stuff that helps their diggesting is related to making people happy and being happy and giving a nice show that will stir nice emotions. But notice how all 3 are around controlling your own emotions and leading others to fell how you want them to. When the next pathways come after this, it'll make total sense why these were the basis.
Faceless = And then, this happens, imagine you're enemy of a faceless, and then, one night, while prepping to go to bed, your lovely wife gives you a creppy smile and says "BANG!". The faceless can be anyone, and it's easier to become someone that already existis than creating a entire new persona.
Puppeteer (can't say the nimblewstuff) = If becoming someone else wasn't enough you can now steal other people. Again, enemy of a Puppeteer, one day you come home, your wife isn't there. Next day, you find her to the side of your best friend, she doesn't want you anymore, you're confused, your best friend says that it was your fault, you get all messed up emotionally and BANG! The levels of torture that someone able to not only steal other appearances, but work in group with themselves is absurd!
Bizarro Sorcerer = To start, you need to kill someone, AND MAKE A SHOW OUT OF IT! This is the most villanic thing a villain in a comic would do. When compared to the Parasyte, they're much worst! The parasyte is able to live in a symbiotic relationship with their target, they don't need to do evil things. But the Bizarro Sorcerer? Oh boy, dozens of people under their control, changing faces as he wants, trading bodies and whatever. Imagine you're Derrick in the City of Silver and a single Bizarro Sorcerer is there. It'd start with a person acting weird and being locked up, and end with people killing each other afraid of the other to be in a marionet state. A single Bizarro Sorcerer can destroy a entire society.
And yeah, other demi-gods are strong, maybe even stronger than the Bizarro Sorcerer. But the level of evilness in this one is absurd. You control emotions, you treat people as your audience, you make them your subjects, your tools.
A bizarro sorcerer enters a ball... Five minutes latter, everyone but the target is Bizarro Sorcerer... The target may notice the strangeness, he may fight and try to kill the Bizarro Sorcerer, he would have to fight his friends, maybe family, they could even claim for him to stop with pleads of still being in control of themselves. The target could end up destroying every single person inside that ball, just to find out that the Bizarro Sorcerer was already leaving the place as he finished his last friend, at a speed of a killometer by finger snap.
I still have no idea what sequences 3 2 1 and 0 have to do with this villanesque stuff, but noticing how the pathway that our hero Klein follows with his good morals turning up to be the perfect description of a lot of villains from multiple books and comics finally made this quote to click for me:
"We are guardians, but also a bunch of miserable wretches that are constantly fighting against threats and madness."
