I'm posting this to mostly vent most of my support circle is asleep in diffrent timezones and I don't have anyone in person with me so I really don't have anyone to talk to unless I want to wake someone up and I don't really want to do that.
For context, I am an otherwise healthy 26 year old male.
Friday i went in for a appointment at my university clinic because on Tuesday I fell down 3 times walking home and the last time i fell i was in a crosswalk and i was not able to stand on my on my legs just stopped responding to what i wanted them to do(I live like a mile from the school) and they recommended me to get an MRI. I talked to them a little more, and they basically recomend me to go to the ER. As my symptoms are pretty severe, both my legs are hyper reflexive, and there is clonus in both of my feet.
And like I said, I fell down in the street and could not stand back up. I have been falling down since around January, and while I had some trouble getting up a few times sitting in the middle of the road, helplessness was absolutely terrifying for me. I vividly remember grabbing my leg and dragging it with my arms, trying to get to a sitting position so I could attempt to stand up. Thankfully, someone got out of his car and helped me up. He even gave me a ride to my apartment, but I really hate that feeling of needing help at all.
Fast forward, like 2ish hours on friday, and I'm in the ER they are telling me they want a neurologist to come down and look at me. She says that she thinks something is wrong with my nervous system and that they need to run a bunch of MRIs on me and that they were recommending me to be hospitalized.
I did around 2 and a half hours of MRIs (like 3 or 4 areas, I think, and contrasts) on saturday morning. At around 2 in the afternoon, a doctor came in and told me they had the MRI results and wanted the neurologist to look at them before they came to any conclusions.
At around 6ish the night shit doc came in and told me that there where like 5 plauques on my brain, and while they still have to rule things out that the neurologist on this weekend and the other docs think it might be MS and that they wanted to start me on highdose steroids asap and that they will continue to evaluate and adjust if needed.
I just got my first dose of steroids (1250 mg), and I am already noticing that my symptoms are lessening. my legs are responding like I want them to that I am walking better. Also, the spasms in my legs I was not even really registering as a problem have stopped, and the numbness and tingling is going away.
I think they are doing a lumbar tap tomorrow. And I have at least 2 more doses of steroids prescribed unless something changes. This means I'm in the hospital through at least Monday.
I really don't know what to do or feel this whole situation is really overwhelming.
I had plans this weekend and I have class on Monday. I really can't miss more class. I have already missed to much class because of my depression flaried up(diagnosed since 2021 not currently medicated). I know I need to email my professors but it is really fucking hard for me. I don't like asking for help or making excuses and logically I know this is not really either of those, but I still don't like feeling I guess, needy.
Like I really don't like that they are taking me everywhere in the hospital in a wheel chair, again I know logically I shouldn't be but I'm a 26 tear old guy and I can walk (barely at this point) and it feels like I'm losing independence and I do t like that.
Sorry for the long winded post and any formatting errors this is all typed on my phone because I didn't know I was going to be hospitalized I thought I could just get the MRI and go home or just schedule it.
One more thing that's really upsetting me is that I have been having some issues walking dating back to like may-june of last year and I brought it up a few times to my primary care who kind of brushed me off. Like I was telling people that something was fucked up with my nervous system and even if ends up not being MS I was right and should have pushed harder because something was obviously wrong.

My history: Female, 37 y/o with many food allergies and IBS. But under.
Took ibuprofen for 6 years for sciatica and lower backpain. Most of the time without omeprazole. Omeprazole gives me anxiety and closes up my throat. Pantoprazole does this as well. I'm afraid I'm allergic to it. I have now become allergic to ibuprofen as well. It gives me urticaria. So I'm seeing an allergist soon because my allergies are broadening and asthma is worsening.
Never had stomach issues before. Did have bowel issues for many years, but when i learned my allergies that went away. Since 2020 Im getting on and off burning sour stomach with bloating and nausea. Sometimes diarrhea and darker stool. This stays for a few months and then goes away. It's daily in those flare ups.
I can't do the endoscopy. I know I should. My gp doesn't find it necessary. But gave me a referrel anyway. I chickened out 3 times and I can't bring myself to do it. Due to medical ptsd I suffer from surgeries gone wrong and even a colonscopy gone wrong. A long story but it was very traumatic. I saw a psychologist for support and the sessions were great. But I'm still too scared to do the endoscopy.
I was offered some sort of tranquillizer for the endoscopy which I Def dont want to take. Cause it was the same one that was given to me before when things went wrong. Hospital says there's no other options. So that's that. They're not really helpful.
I also had a gallbladder ultrasound last year which was fine. The gastrointestinal specialst I saw for my bowel endometriosis said it sounded like gallbladder issues, because I could pinpoint the discomfort. I has an ultrasound and i was told it was OK.
I have a sour burning feeling coming from the spot where my gallbladder is located. I don't have a burning feeling in my oesophagus. I do have a weird taste in my mouth. I'm scared it's an ulcer. Since my stool is also darker.
I had a monster covid infection 3 weeks ago. And have been infected 3 times, with long haul covid as a result. I really wonder if my issues come from covid or from ibuprofen use.
Had covid in March 2020. These stomach issues started in April 2020. Stayed for 5 months. Then subsided. 2021 was an "ok" year. Had a few bouts of the same issues. A week here and there. Had covid again in August of 22. In Sept same issues arose. Had covid 3 weeks ago. Now 3 weeks later, same issues arrise.
I also have sudden urticaria since last covid infection. I've had urticaria since 2020 but very mild. Some spots here and there. That would go away. Now it's daily. It's dermatographia urticaria. So lightly scratching and there they are. It's skin writing urticaria.
I was given antibiotics in Sept 2022. And I wonder if they have something to do with my symptoms. But then again, I already had them since 2020.
Does this sound like gerd? Are there any other tests or scans that can be done? Instead of endoscopy?
I'm not losing weight, and my stool is either soft, normal, diarrhea or dark at the moment. And can gallbladder issues cause GERD-like symptoms??

(Long rant incoming. TL;DR :- Just a bunch of reasons why the 2021-22 batch didn't had it as easy as suggested by the current batch. So stop comparing ffs).
Yesterday someone posted on this sub that the 2021-22 batch had easy board exams, and 90% of the comments were filled with everyone agreeing with the post. Sigh... I'm requesting all the current 12th students on behalf of all of us 12th passouts, y'all think ki the board exams you're giving rn are very tough, nobody is stopping you from thinking that way.
But don't bring our batch into your stupid discussion and say shit like we guys had it very easy just because we had MCQ and 40 marks papers. Ek baar boards dene mein sabki phatt jaati hai humne 2 baar diye.
I don't think anyone remembers the outrage after the first board exam in which the MCQs in English had atrocious choices and made no sense. Still the focus was shifted towards the 10th grade English paper which was termed as misogynistic and all our complaints landed on a deaf ear. Not only English, MCQs of other subjects also didn't make much sense, but English was the worst.
Don't forget the students who had their term 1 boards in their own school, majority of the schools allowed them to cheat and there was also a marksheet list of a Delhi school circulating on this sub at the time in which we could see that the lowest marks scored were around 95%. Yes, 95% were the lowest marks because everyone was allowed to cheat in MCQs. It was unfair to the students who were allotted other schools as their exam centres.
Term 1 and term 2 exams only had a 4 months gap between them, we had to shift from MCQs to subjective type questions in such a little time period. As a result, our exams ended in June, we gave our boards in the brutal heatwave, (and my exam centre had frequent power cuts, aur bina light ke pankhe bhi nahi chalte the).
Also, majority of our session was during the COVID period, we had to attend online classes. Atleast you guys had offline classes and we all know the difference between online and offline classes is night and day.
Exams ended in June, results were declared late by CBSE and also the weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 exams was deviated by a significant margin. As a result, college started late, we didn't get sufficient time for the first semester as well.

During COVID we saw lots of nonsense "end of FIRE" articles. Well, I'd say this situation is far more gritty and with few signs of abatement yet (though still no reason to believe it's the end of FIRE - this is far yet from the worst ever).
Of course for most here this situation is great for building your FIRE pot and I hope you aren't hesitating to throw more into your pensions and ISAs.
In my case it's my first grinding bear market as a FIRE'ee. There's no point pretending it isn't a little disconcerting to see both the market falling and prices rising sharply, but at the same time we've just had one of the longest bull markets ever, and so you just have to get on with it.

Hi, I have doubts about Zombicide Rue Morgue, but i think it’s the sams for all Zombicide. If i fire a weapon in a distant area i hit the survivor first. For example, if i do 3 damage would the survivor take all of it? If i attack with melee weapon in the same space as a zombie and a survivor, do i hit the zombie? Or do i always hit the survivor first? Last question, if i am in the same space as a zombie and a survivor and i use a shotgun that has 0-1 as distance target, do i hit the zombie or th survivor?

A recent long ECG report from a holder monitor shows AFib when walking (including going up and downstairs). It also shows 4,000 ventricular ectopic beats. It is marked 'abnormal ECG', but was cleared as 'okay'/no arrhythmia by the hospital. I saw this in the data and do not have a copy of the ECG read out at those points.
I was surprised as I feel okay when walking. Could it be an error with the holder monitor being disturbed by movement (also shows a max bpm of nearly 300 and a min of 15, which I hope is a glitch - my Apple Watch showed a max of 130 and a min of 50) or likely to be real AFib? I had post-MRNA myocarditis in 2021 (inflammation persisted for a year) that has left scarring and am on long-term steroids (5mg a day) as it also triggered an auto-immune reaction. It has also left me with a lot of anxiety. Can the steroids cause AFib? I am working on a plan to taper, but am scared of having any flare-up of myocarditis.
