Ever since I was a small child I have had some disdain for women. Back then I disliked them because of their behavior, I hated how emotional they were and how they always created drama. Also how spoiled girls were. I especially despised that. As the years have passed my dislike has swollen to a burning hatred. In highschool girls would bully me because I'm ugly. It is worth noting that I am a homosexual so luckily unlike other ugly men I didn't have to become obsessed with getting something I couldn't, but still what they did to me and what I absorbed in highschool was burned into my memory. I saw many a time girls just copying all the hobbies from guys they were into. Outside that I also noticed how they would bully each other over looks. Boys I knew would drop an occasional insult towards me or other ugly guys but it was never to the extent girls would. The way they treat short men is also horrible. I'm 5'1 myself so I am rather abnormally short and women (even adult women) will go out of their way to mock you for your height. After I finished highschool and I now enter college I thought maybe my opinion would change but it has only intensified. Women from what I've seen are extremely illogical and hypocritical. I'll see a woman complaining about a husband not keeping in shape for his wife and praising the wife for leaving him or refusing sex; but then I'll see the same woman later on talking about how awful it is a guy left his wife for being fat. My cousin actually made a joke at a recent family reunion about men with small dicks when previously she went on a rant about how awful it is men mock womens labia size. I want to change my opinion on this matter and I've talked to multiple women at this point but from what I've seen they're l extremely hypocritical in their opinions and everything seems to be driven by emotions.

So, during the entire book or at least the second half, Big Jim Rennie is really thankful for the dome and wants to make sure it sticks around so he can keep doing his evil plans.
I'll be honest I don't have the specifics worked out for this like what he would use or how he would get to a safe part of the dome with fans on the other side when before he was in the middle of it, but just hear me out.
So Big Jim is with the rest of the cast or at least the government, maybe Charlie Cox in particular. He knows they want to get rid of the dome so as like some sort of protest from a newly insane Jim Rennie he somehow tapes or glues or just sticks himself to the side of the dome, he's probably too heavy too but I'm sure there's something that could work that he could get his hands on.
So he's like glued to the dome, screaming about how he doesn't want it to go at the same time Julia convinces the Leatherheads to let them go. As a result the dome lifts... with Big Jim still attached to it, now hollering and screaming about wanting someone to help get him off and save him but the dome whisks itself and him into the sky, never to be seen again.
Or you could even say what is holding him to the dome isn't strong enough but the dome lifts so quickly into the air by the time the glue gives up and he separates from the dome he's falling a big enough drop that will kill him.
I dunno I just thought that would be interesting and satisfying if something like that happened. Yet again I don't know how he'd be able to stick himself to the dome in the first place but still.

Hello! This is my first post.
I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit, so if I violate any rules please delete the post.
Background: Had T1 for 10 years now, diagnosed back in 2013. I always had a good A1C level, around 7-8%, and also good blood sugar levels in general, Fasting used to be between 90-120 mg/dl and PP used to be 110-140 md/dl, this was back in 2019. Then covid came and a lot of things went downhill, I lost someone dear to me and I became depressed, didn't want to live anymore, my levels became a mess, it took a lot of time and courage for me to get my head straight. Since then I've tried my best to change my lifestyle (although my eating times are a mess because work) and started eating healthy food, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong here, my A1C is 11% and won't go down whatever I do, Fasting goes up to 150-300 mg/dl sometimes even if I don't eat much, while other times it goes to 50-60 mg/dl, while PP ranges between 250-400 at any given time, My doctor says I should workout more, which I already do. I do light warmup and brisk walk for 7-10km daily, cannot do any heavy workouts since I have a mild case of hernia which I developed after an accident. I also tried to eat less carbs and eat more salads etc. I just have no idea why it doesn't go down. I'm not on a pump, I take insulin shots through pens. Currently I take 34 Units of NovoMix 30 before breakfast and 12 Units before dinner.
I need some insight of how you guys manage your levels since I've seen a lot of people talk about their A1C in the range of 5-7%, I want to get there too. It would be helpful if you can share your routine and foods you consume, this will help me in understanding what I might be doing wrong.

So I just found out about mods existing in Fortnite and this mod Project Era apparently lets you play season 2 of og Fortnite. This mod has been promoted by many big names of the OG Fortnite days like Fearless and Nick Eh 30 so it got my interest. It has gotten me extremely excited since I have made so many memories playing this game and it is practically my childhood.

1. My question is since this is a 3rd party software is it allowed by Epic?
2. Can your account get banned?
3. And probably the most important, is it actually safe, at least file wise? Does it contain any viruses?

I’m 46F and my mom is 76. My mother is narcissistic and has an extremely negative view of the world. From as young as I can remember, she terrorized me in a specific way and I’m wondering if anyone else experienced this. For background, I was raised in a fire and brimstone Pentacostal church and the main thing I remember was endless sermons and hell and death and how we, even the children, could die at any moment and burn for all eternity. My mom would go to these churches for a few months, decide they were full of people who hated her and were mistreating her and then we’d be off a new church, rinse, repeat. When she was upset with me, she’d threaten to end her life. For example, if I didn’t comply w her wishes, she’d get sullen and say things like, ‘well, when you call the paramedics, make sure my body is decently covered.’ Horrible to do to an 8yo, but it’s standard manipulation. I can ‘understand’ it. What I didn’t and still don’t understand: She made me scared all the time. I’m playing and cuddling a pet— ‘well, just remember they don’t live long, so enjoy them bc they won’t be here forever.’ Enjoying Christmas? —‘it’s sad to think that we may never do this again. You never know what will happen.’ Looking forward to summer camp? ‘I hope we’re alright when you get back. Don’t worry about me, you go have fun and don’t think about me you siblings,’etc. This has been directed at me much more than anyone else. It turned me into a child who was completely unable to be ‘in the moment’ bc all my moments were spent ruminating about whether something awful was about to happened. Until recently, I’ve gone through life with a huge stone around my neck. I developed panic attacks and bipolar disorder. I tried to do it myself and the rhythmn while analyzing with SPAN but I just cant do it. I think its an ARP in the bassline and a seperate ARP on the higher notes but I'm not sure, so please correct me if I'm wrong. I tried to do it in one MIDI Track but I gave up after 2 hours.
I even tried to find a Cthulhu pattern/sequence which the note change is based on but I had no success at all.
Somehow I cant here the exact difference or recognize the frequencies on SPAN bc of the overlap.
I hope someone of you geniouses can help me. It drives me crazy that I cant recreate how this was written.

just reached 10 months no contact yesterday. ive made and deleted many posts here, usually asking for help, and this is the first time ive felt compelled to share my own hope with others.
I could’ve made an “inspirational” post months ago, but until now, it wouldn’t have felt genuine. what I am trying to say is it does take time, and that if you feel upset that you don’t feel hopeful after a certain amount of months, please at least give yourself the chance to see how you feel after a couple more months.
I understand it can be hard to keep up with this when it doesn’t always feel instantly rewarding. it can feel long and gruesome. what I will say is dips are VERY NORMAL, they are going to happen.
in terms of progress, as long as you are truly sticking to no contact, your baseline content-ness will reach its highest point at least once each new month. doesn’t matter how many drops you have. doesn’t matter if you have points that feel more low than prior months. I promise you each month down you will catch yourself at least once feeling better than you did the month before. and I promise that is enough hope to be proud of yourself and keep going.
I hope this doesn’t sound too cliche or repetitive. I just tend to be a person who does wallow in my feelings and feel bad for myself. so for me to feel this confident calm hope finally confident enough to share with others, just know this is a pretty big deal. no contact really is the real deal. not saying everyday is easy, but I honestly haven’t felt this hopeful in years.

I have a love/hate relationship with my mom. She’s had several years of migraines and the pain management, IMO, has affected her mental capacity to hold a conversation. As a result, attempting to hold a conversation is a challenge and sometimes not worth attempting
My mom is also excessively overbearing about her new grandson. And I can understand, my mom only had two boys and now she has a grandson to dote on. Except they’re 2 hours away from us, which I personally like cuz I don’t like spending time with them.
I’ve only been a dad for about a week, and the biggest messages I’ve got from my parents were first when they came up to see my son when he was still in the hospital and I was told by my dad that they felt essentially screwed out of their time with him.

Now fast forward a week, the first text I got from my mom was when can we see our grandson again. Not, how are you or how’s your wife just when can we see him again
I tried to address this with my dad in a more tactful manner, my mom can’t take criticism or that ppl don’t want her around which makes having an adult convo impossible.
I tell my dad I want to talk to him privately about some things and don’t want my mom to hear them. Told me to give him a few minutes. We talk, we hang up, was gonna video chat them to show them their grandson…only to find a text from my dad that my mom heard the conversation

Tonight was the second time I’ve gotten cussed out and verbally assaulted by the manager of college bar…….
For context, I’m a 20 year old dj on a big college campus, I have residencies at the 3 biggest bars in town, and I have my own promotion/event business. I’ve been djing for 2 years now and have played over 30 paid gigs. If it was up to me I’d play house all night but due to college crowd I gotta play open format/rap. I think I’m one of the better djs my town has to offer but that’s beside the point. Anyways,
Bar has recently had a problem with there crowd and they told djs to not play rap music. Two saturdays ago I played and twice during my set manager came up to me and told me not to play rap. Crowd was pretty dead and wasn’t responding to dance music so I naturally kept playing rap to keep crowd engaged. The night ends and i asks manger to write me a check and he blows up on me. Saying stuff like your the worst fucking dj we have, I hope you never play her again, your a cocksucker etc etc. The tirade was extremely out of line, and they additionally underpaid me $100. I have played at this place probably 10-15 times and have good relationship with owner. I talked to him the following week and he said eveything was just don’t let anything like that happen again. All was good until my gig tonight.
Everything was smooth, bar packed to the brim, high energy set, no rap music. I thought I definateky earned my cred back. I cut the music off at 2 and call last call like i have at every single gig I’ve played there in the past. As I’m cleaning up manager walks up to me and I was expecting a friendlyish comment cuz I thought might went well. He proceeds to go on another tirade, saying that last call is at 2:30 not 2. Saying I’m sabatoging the bar, I fucking suck, calling me cocksucker, pussy etc. keep in mind this dude is probably 50 and I’m 20. Anyways, he writes me a check and tells me to fuck off. Before my Uber arrives I go back into the bar and call him a piece of shit in front of staff, he tries to come at me and has to be held back by bouncers.
Am I the asshole? In the first instance I did disobey orders of not playing rap, but honestly as a dj my goal is to make a crowd dance and I’m not gonna torture them with tech house if they’re not feeling it. As for tonight, I feel like the guy was completely out of line and I’m gonna stand up for myself in that kinda situation.
