In the winter, I was getting around ~5g Salt (NaCl) and ~2-3g Potassium (K) and some Magnesium (this only occasionally coz was sparing the tablets :D) and had no problem up to ~80-hours fast. I was drinking them with around 3lt of water. I fasted 4 times for ~80-hours in cool weather and this recipe worked great.
Now, the weather starts hitting 85 °F (~29.5 °C) and will go even higher. The kind that skin starts feeling a bit sweaty, that hand on leg starts sweating,... etc... How to adjust the electrolytes since I need way more water and sweat way more?
I tried one 48hr on a very hot-sweaty day and it seemed I felt I had some electrolyte imbalance, hence my question. I want to be active outside home which means more sweat, so I guess I could drink like 5 liters of water per day!
My goal is rolling-72/80 hr fasts.

Male, 60 years old, 180 lbs. Whenever he goes out in the sun on a warm or hot day, he feels extremely drained of energy, dizzy, overheated, fatigued and overall really unwell within minutes. Rarely sweats, even when very, very well hydrated and other people in the vicinity are sweating. Feels like he will faint/pass out whenever outside in a warm temperature, but this has never actually happened. Symptoms have steadily gotten worse over a 15+ year period.
Has been seen by cardiologist and endocrinologist who found nothing obviously abnormal, shrug, and dismiss him because the severity of symptoms doesn't show in an air conditioned office. PCP has also been very dismissive.
Has Type 2 Diabetes and hypertension, both well managed with medication and diet. Overheating symptoms started years before diabetes or blood pressure were an issue.
What specialist should he try to see? Symptoms are quite distressing but because they aren't seen in an air conditioned office and appears generally healthy, no one he's talked to is taking this seriously.

Last Rite is very much a solid Ritual Weapon. It doesn’t exist as an incredibly strong scout, but it does come with a solid set of perks. Reconstruction and Focused Fury do allow you to use a legendary 120 RPM scout rifle in PvE without it being Dead Man’s Tale. I cannot think of many situations where that’s necessary, nor really a need to use a 120 RPM scout. This does break up the need for an exotic as both Long Arm and Last Rite are legendary and therefore allow some loadout variation. However, the lack of specific perks like Rapid Hit, Explosive Payload, Kill Clip, or even Kinetic Tremors would bump this scout way up into usage. It’s certainly one of the scouts of all time.
Last Rite does not fare any better in PvP. Dead Man’s Tale is the best 120 RPM scout and has hip firing capabilities. All other legendary 120s feel fine while hip firing but feel night and day different comparatively. Keep Away feels like a throw away perk because scouts barely need any range. Rapid Hit would bump Last Rite up for me, but Reconstruction could work. I would not use this for hip firing but as a classic scout I wouldn’t be upset with a teammate using this.

Randy’s Throwing Knife is back! My favorite little scout-auto love child. This time with random rolls!!! I do enjoy seeing older ritual / pinnacle weapons refreshed with more options, especially post sunsetting. It does feel good grinding them out again. Randy’s Throwing Knife was the best rapid-fire scout for its time but unfortunately fell into a time where scouts were just awful to use and did not have a set place outside of MIDA Multi-Tool or a few specific options. Randy’s Throwing Knife with Kinetic Tremors will feel great as it fires fast enough to get the AoE back to back. Cascade Point is really funny to me, seeing a 260 scout bumping the RPM all the way up to 428 via D2Foundry. If this lands for me I don’t even really care about viability, it will just be fun.
Randy’s Throwing Knife did find its slight niche within PvP, hopefully the new version delivers. I think it does and then some. The old version had Rapid Hit and Kill Clip, which you can get again, but with Extended Mag instead of a better mag boosting perk. You also have the option of bumping up the recoil direction making those quick headshots a lot easier. While the old Randy’s Throwing Knife didn’t have a bad roll, getting it again with slightly better options feels good.

The new competitive weapon is a sniper, and while there are a lot of perks to look out for, I don’t think your main priority should be PvE. Snipers dedicated for PvE have ammo refreshing perks and a solid damage perk. Discord is nice, but require constant kills in order to keep up their utility. Snipers for damage don’t usually get constant flows of kills, and snipers for add clear (if you’re one of those odd balls, like me) need a better AoE damage perk. Mercurial Overreach is a PvP sniper.
In PvP you’ll find a lot of Guardians opting for the tried and true Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot Combo. With the right investments (aka all handling) you can have the most coveted sniper perks alongside 92 handling. Almost making this the fastest sniper in the game, but certainly one with both Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot at the same time. The Supremacy can also reach 92, but that’s on a rapid-fire frame. Defiance of Yasmin (Harrowed) can reach 82 but that is with adept mods. Silicon Neuroma (Adept) is the highest aggressive frame at 59. On an adaptive sniper, this is the highest handling you can get without using things like Dragon’s Shadow, Ophidians, or even Slickdraw.

Positive Outlook was one of my favorite guns from Year 1. I still have mine in my vault with 4,600 kills on it. Nothing better than old reliable Kill Clip from Curse of Osiris. This new version gives us access to Golden Tricorn, Destabilizing Rounds, and even Repulsor Brace making it a really great void option for anyone drawn to the void. Ambitious Assassin isn’t a replacement for reload, but it does help make reloads feel a bit further away instead of making them faster.
In PvP I cannot reliably see a way to make Positive Outlook meta. Tap the Trigger and Kill Clip will give you the best footing for multikills and sprees. Eye of the Storm also helps win duels for a more consistent 1v1 experience. Both Zen Moment and Dynamic Sway Reduction could swap in for Tap the Trigger as your consistency perk.

Laser Painter has a fun name as you’re painting the target with a laser. Normally I don’t love Bungie’s names but this one earned a chuckle from me. I wish this was either a new archetype entirely or another aggressive frame. Regular linear fusion rifles just don’t feel as good to me anymore, and the huge perk pool just feels unrewarding now. You can craft Taipan and you’re basically done. Strand is nice for breaking the few shields, but the removal of match game belittles strand damage types for now.
In PvP if you didn’t craft a Taipan, you just missed the mark entirely. Buffed Fragile Focus and Opening Shot for great range and specifically what you want? Instant shards for Laser Painter.

Pressurized Precision is a great choice for a Strand fusion rifle. Discord will regenerate ammo for you as long as you get the kill, which will pair well with High-Impact Reserves or Vorpal for damage. Hatchling does not refund you ammo, but does pair well with Strand subclasses. Use whatever build you’d like.
In PvP I don’t think Pressurized Precision is the best in its class. You can also get away with the Discord shenanigans but with zoom decoupling from Rangefinder soon I wouldn’t rush out to get one. Firmly Planted did receive a nerf a while back and the effects can still be felt, it is not as consistent as it used to be. You can still make it work, but I would look elsewhere for a better fusion.

There aren’t many places I see myself using a grenade launcher in PvE nowadays. Cascade Point is very fun and Full Court will net you some solid damage from afar, but I find myself using rockets over grenade launchers. Maybe for GMs or activities where ammo is a bit more scarce and using a rocket launcher wouldn’t be the best choice. Explosive Light really is carrying my weapons this season.
In PvP you could definitely surprise a few players with an extra rapid rapid-fire frame grenade launcher with Cascade Point, but I find those groupings to be way less common than you think. Otherwise I would just go for Disruption Break to enhance my kinetic weapon.

Controlled Burst feels like a better Backup Plan. With full investments into charge time and Controlled Burst you could voop as fast as an adaptive or even a rapid-fire while maintaining or increasing your damage through surge mods and other means. Auto-Loading Holster is the obvious choice, but Overflow is incredibly strong for keeping up those bursts. Envious Assassin and Demolitionist are also great shouts as well. Reservoir Burst is the tried and true, so keep using that if you like booms. But Controlled Burst feels strong and it’s all about the power fantasy, right?
In PvP Controlled Burst will be great for going on those streaks but we haven’t seen many fusion rifles with Eye of the Storm. Dreambreaker was the first and then came Glacioclasm, but we haven’t seen Eye of the Storm on an adept fusion before. Making this a really strong contender for being the most consistent high-impact fusion in the game. Under Pressure or Firmly Planted paired with Eye of the Storm will give you huge amounts of consistency. Maybe a better 3v3 weapon compared to Controlled Bursts 6v6 focus.

There is nothing more I want this season than BrayTech Osprey with Cluster Bomb and Chain Reaction. Seeing all those explosions, especially at once, will bring a smile across my face. I’d also like to see how it interacts with Lasting Impression. Do the clusters drop on the initial hit or, more likely, once the explosion goes off? There will be some obvious testing to do this season, but I want this rocket launcher for the sheer fun of it. Cluster Bomb might be useful again when coupled with Frenzy or Golden Tricorn’s damage increase.
In PvP my boom-splosion rocket will be the best to get, I do think that the Cluster Bomb getting the kill will result in Chain Reaction going off, it might affect the damage but that will have to be tested a bit more. There is nothing holding back my excitement for so many explosions.

The Messenger returns to us. A once great pulse has returned to take its throne. Move aside No Time to Explain, we don’t have time to explain how good Messenger is. Go away Graviton Lance, no one liked you before your multiple buffs. The king is back to retake the crown. Messenger needs a few things to make it the best roll possible, the first being Arrowhead Brake to bring up the low stability. Rapid Hit is the clear winner in the third column, but Outlaw is great if you don’t want the change in burst pattern depending on what stack of Rapid Hit you have. Kill Clip is an easy damage buff, and Kinetic Tremors is fun for the AoE. Desperado fell off a bit, but I would still use it in PvE if I were looking for a good time.
A very similar situation is present in PvP. Arrowhead Brake and Rapid Hit are the staples to look out for. You can certainly get by without one or the other but the true King has both. Headseeker takes over for Desperado since the adjustment. Securing those blistering two-bursts is a feeling like no other. Headseeker makes those bursts more consistent and frequent.

Truthfully I don’t know how to feel about the new glaive, it might need more time in my hands but it felt bad despite its beefed up stats. Thresh is great for getting super kills on both melee and powered shots. Subsistence for keeping the mag topped off or Feeding Frenzy for just reliable reload. I found the best success with Frenzy, but that’s due to it being a straightforward damage bonus, your mileage may vary. Prove me wrong with this glaive.
In PvP glaive users might find a niche with adept mods being present on the first ever adept glaive. While there are at least 3 of you I might finally encounter a wild glaive in the crucible. If you are set on using glaives in PvP you do not need me to tell you what works and what doesn't.

Good evening, fellow Apex players. I came across a problem recently, and It's exactly what title says. I think my friends are pulling me down and making me the worse player than I actually am.
I play Apex from Season 15, so I'm not any high-tier player, but I play every day, and actually improving, step by step. Most of the time i play solo with randoms, and of course I have some bad moments, and some good moments, just like any other player. But usually, I'm pretty decent player, that means I do damage, I can actually kill people, I can be a kill leader or win a game, from time to time. But sometimes, we play 3stack with my friends, and you would expect it to be a huge advantage, but the exact opposite is true. For some reason, I'm doing terrible, while in the premade squad, or duo. Important to say, that my friends are lower skilled than me, and they don't put as much time and effort to the game as I do, but that means I'm the one who's supposed to carry them, and help them, but I just can't do it, and it's ruining experience for everyone. I don't know why, probably I'm not good enough, or they're just distracting me? I mean, for me, a person with ADHD, it can be really hard to focus on a multiple things at once. Maybe that's the reason? I don't know what to tell them. Of course, I don't want to be mean, so I can't just be like: "I'm not playing with you, cause you make me trash". I just want to have fun, and dying over and over again, because I'm not good enough to be a carry, isn't my definition of fun.
Here's another thing. A while ago, I was playing with a guy from my old school. He was Plat, and certainly better at the game than me (I'm silver) But I did great with him, and by that I mean playing actually good, somethimes even better than him. So, do I just need a good teammates to not suck ass in Apex? I don't know. Let me know in the comments, if any of you have experienced something similiar, and how I should deal with this? I've (40f) been hang out/hooking up with a friend (40m) for a month but things fizzle out the past few days and I don't know what to do.

Today was such a bad day with my psychosis and paranoia, the reasons were so many, some were even really delusional. It had a lot to do with complex trauma, crippling self hate and schizophrenia. This time though it's just me realising how much of a burden I am because of my disabilities. I can't do anything, can't handle a job, I spend most of my life so anxious and in a loop of negative thoughts for no cleae reason that I can't even do the things that usually being me comfort, I need people to babysit me like my mom and my ex bf, and then people get angry and start ab*sing me and kick me out. And I've got to find someone else to parasite. It's the same cycle over and over again and I feel like I have zero to loose, zero to live for, zero goals at my reach, zero chances to be a decent human being and then bulimia comes knocking at my door. It's not polite to leave her out in the cold you know
I don't know how to cope with hard times and feelings without purging and I'm losing hope I was doing so well now this starts all over again I've managed to stop for 40 days but I dont this destructive coping mechanism back 😢 💔

Yellow everyone! Today was for some reason awful, i had some of the worst urges to smoke I've had in awhile. I tried cutting down my coffee intake to find out the withdrawals are horrible. (Even with eliminating 1 to 2 cups) these headaches are worse than when i quit smoking. In fact i learned that me not quitting coffee when i quit smoking was 100 percent the correct call because i wouldn't have made it through my first week. Maybe that's why i was quitting a little easier this time because i forced myself to deink coffee when i had no cigarettes to pair with the coffee.
And my caffeine intake was much higher when i did smoke. Perhaps some of my "nicotine" withdrawals were actually from cutting down caffeine. Wow i did not know how badly my body was addicted to caffeine. Like it's literally fighting me. I have to quit. Im going cold turkey on the coffee tomorrow and i am asking for help next week so i don't have to go anywhere. Im going to not do anything. Period while i get through this next week or two. Im going to do what i did when i quit smoking and just deink a normal regular days worth of coffee.
Ill literally have to just quit for awhile. Perhaps do like Saturday coffee or something with a friend. But this is crazy...
Anyway lol 98 days... 14 weeks... Were chugging along right into week 15. Good luck everyone! None of my symptoms got better this week and in fact worse and partially i dont even want to count some of them due to the caffeine withdrawal. Im still going to track but month 4 is going to have a ton of caffeine withdrawal symptoms
Who knows maybe this is the last thing i need to change to really start feeling ok again.

So, to cut a long tale short, I'm 26 years old, didn't technically graduate from high school approximately 4 years ago, and have been avoiding employment ever since.
After high school, my family would constantly remind me that I needed to get employment. I would ignore them and claim that I would eventually do so, although not attempt to do so. I'm NEET due to social anxiety and some past trauma, so finding a job is a pretty daunting prospect for me.
I ultimately heard that I had to have a job or else I would be homeless, so I reluctantly applied for government assistance. I didn't want to do this because it would have required me to report to a job agency and actively seek employment to maintain my benefits. I would have nothing to show for myself week after week, and my agent would make an effort to humiliate me for not having any work leads. I detested observing them.
Covid-19 eventually arrived and saved my life. I was now receiving three times as many benefits without having to look for a job. Everything was going well. I got takeaway every night and bought a load of Valorant skins. I was content:)
Nevertheless, this did not endure, and despite receiving over $20,000 in compensation, I had nothing left. I had to meet my employment agent every other week once more when my benefits eventually returned to what they had been, or did I? You see, I had a brilliant idea that I termed "operation sink or swim" in which I had to choose between going without a place to live and finding a job.
I was reasonably optimistic that I had time to get my stuff together because I had enough money for my living expenses to last around six weeks. However, I didn't. At this point, my anxiety about being around people and my trauma-related problems were less severe than they had been when I first became a NEET, but I had developed some pretty bad habits, like waking up, eating, and drinking coffee before spending the rest of the day watching YouTube, porn, and playing video games. I was unable to end the loop.
After a while, my mother observed that I wasn't buying groceries as frequently, that I would wait until I was out of food before buying more, and that I was constantly late with my rent payments. The game was over since I could no longer even hold my weight and everyone in my family realized how much of a failure I was. My mother's expression of dismay devastated me, and my emotions of shame deepened. It was agreed that my only value was as a helper for errands and housework, which is understandable given that I wasn't paying for it myself, but it was embarrassing to essentially be everyone's slave.
At this time, I realized I had to take action. I had felt I could handle getting a job until I had to confront the fact that I had to do it. But the reality of it was just too overwhelming; worrying about what my coworkers would think of me and that they would hold me accountable if I made a mistake was embarrassing. I also worried that this would be seen as my first step into complete independence and that I would no longer have the luxury of living off my family and instead would be a wage slave for the rest of my life.
Other options had to exist, and they did. I've always been passionate about YouTube, and even though I hadn't posted much previously, I was sure I could build a popular channel. I identified a market gap and added podcast episodes from a YouTuber's podcast. Unexpectedly, after constantly doing this for a month, it ended up working, and I ended up with 15,000 subscribers and over 350k views. I joined the YouTube partner program, and my first month's earnings were $600. Unfortunately, nothing wonderful lasts forever, and when YouTube learned about this, they removed me from the YPP and shut down my channel. At this time, I genuinely felt hopeless.
After some time had gone, I was scrolling through Tik Tok when I came across someone boasting about how they had made $300 in a week by only spending two hours a day taking surveys. I wasn't exactly convinced and thought I wasn't the kind of person who would be foolish enough to download some dubious survey app, but it lingered with me. I searched for it in the app store and downloaded the first app I came across out of desperation and curiosity.
I chose to dedicate an hour to see how much money I could make from the surveys, which ranged in price from 80 cents to $3 for surveys lasting 5 to 20 minutes. After an hour, I earned a meager $11.23. It wasn't much money, and I'm pretty sure it's less than half the minimum wage where I live, but it still felt odd to me. When I deposited it to PayPal and subsequently my bank account, I saw real money for the first time in months.
After performing some quick arithmetic, I estimated that if I could make $10 per hour and spend 5 hours per day taking surveys, I could easily make $300 to $400 per week. Again, not a lot of money, but if I did this, I'd be making the same amount of money I was receiving in government assistance when COVID hit. However, this time I didn't have to worry about seeking work or even having a job; instead, I could just sit at home and complete surveys while watching Twitch streams.
This marked the beginning of my six-month journey towards a survey-only existence. There have been some additional benefits to doing this, notwithstanding the increased money. While earning money via surveys is a pretty dismal endeavor, it has given me structure and a measure of self-respect. Now that I don't have to perform all the housework, my days seem longer and happier. I get out of bed and cycle to the nearest coffee shop, where I spend $3.85 on a medium double espresso shot latte. I then ride back to my house and settle down, feeling all cozy, filling out surveys while watching YouTube videos and Twitch broadcasts. I feel more productive and can sleep better at night knowing that I'm not letting each day pass me by totally.
I think I've made good progress toward regaining my ability to function as a normal human. Oddly enough, I can picture a time in the future when I am contently working a 9–5 job or, even better, founding a business to free myself from wage labor. Now that they are aware of my condition and my willingness to make an effort to carry my weight, my family appears to be much more understanding of it. Speaking with individuals at my neighborhood coffee shop and getting to know them by name has developed into a pretty simple approach to engaging in social interaction each day, which has greatly reduced my social anxiety. Again, life feels good.

I (in Texas) recently applied to be a full time Pharmacy Tech at a CVS very close to me, among other places. I have a reasonable amount of experience, and have been getting interest from other companies as well. CVS offered me a position first, but at 16.25 per hour. I made 15 dollars in my first position ever as a part time tech at a Kroger, and I know from friends other companies would be starting me at 17 at least. I'm not particularly attached to this specific location. It is convenient, but not convenient enough to be underpaid.
My question, does anyone have experience negotiating their hourly rate before accepting employment? Will they leave me hanging and waiting for days just to tell me no? I don't want to miss out on somewhere else because i'm waiting for CVS to get back to me.

This is mostly a vent-but any feedback would be appreciated.
I’ve experienced GAD for about a decade now. Ive been on Buspar for a number of years, and while it helps with the daily anxiety of being a person, it doesn’t help with things like having to take the subway, or the dentist, so i use Ativan as needed. Due to how stupid our health care system is i had to start with a new office/set of providers. I loved the first doctor i was placed with he had no issue with how i was medicated and no problem filling my scripts. after about 3 visits with him i got a call the he had resigned and i would be placed with a different doctor within the office. Bummer but these things happen. Doctor #2 immediately had issue with my treatment plan and said i should be on an SSRI and no Ativan. I explained that i use it very infrequently, sometimes going months with out needing any, but she was not hearing this and said i should try Prozac. I’ve been very resistant to SSRi’s since an old GP prescribed me Paxil and the first dose sent me to the hospital. I had to convince her to start me on a lower dose the normal, but i was willing to try cause maybe it could make my life better. I took 10 Mg of Prozac for a month and had a horrible tremor, shaky legs, no appetite and feeling like i was communicating badly with everyone around me. The feed back from friends was that “i was upsettingly calm”. At my follow up appointment the doc said this wasn’t good and that i should try something else. She prescribed Pristiq and said to stop Prozac that day and start Pristiq tomorrow. This sounded wild to me considering the side effects i was having. 15 minutes into my 30 minute telemedicine visit she said she needed to cut my appointment short because she had to go to the bathroom. Not that an emergency had come up. Something about the way she was prescribing and cutting my appointment short really rubbed me the wrong way and i asked to see someone else. I was now on to my 3rd doctor at the same place. This new one also did not like my Buspar /Ativan as needed method and we should try some other SSRI’s at low dose. Again, i knew that this kind of thing is trial and error, and maybe it could make my life better so we tried Zoloft. I broke a 25mg tablet in half for a month and i still had a tremor, stomach issues, very jittery, and got lots of feed back that i was kind of being a bitch at work. We moved on to Lexapro-5mg. My coordination s was so off. I would run into things i had just been looking at. I fell down the last few stairs of flight of stairs because i was so dizzy. Abilify 5mg- everything smells rotten and food sucks. Vomiting, restlessness, uncomfortable, could not stay in a chair. I spent a lot of money on things like lotto scratchers. Effexor 37.5 mg- This one was the worst. I would start getting the “rushes” around 4am and would have to get up and do something. So no sleep, increased anxiety, spending hours at the gym and going on long walks to burn off energy. I lasted 8 days on it. The doctor seems to finally be coming around to the fact that i am a very sensitive flower and that these meds don’t really work for me. We are upping the buspar but she it still being very strict about my ativan use (which increased greatly during the abilify/effoxor switch. Im off effexor for 10 days now. Still not sleeping well, but my anxiety does seem to be getting better. I feel like over all shit, but it does seem to be getting better. TL:DR Ive been on 5 different Psych meds in the last 6-7 months, all with horrendous effects Should I see my GP for blood work? I don’t even know what to look for, but maybe something else is up? Is this normal for trying to figure out anxiety? Should I be looking for a new cente doctor?

a week and a half ago me (22) and my brother (18) got our sibling matching tattoos that we had sketched out and planned for like. 4 years. It was awesome and me and my sister (15) want to do the same. I know she won't be getting it for 3 more years but I want to have a similar experience with us liking something and sticking to it with no regrets. I've got some ideas, namely birth month/day/zodiac related shit (me and my brother got a pair of cards based on a "what card you are in a deck of playing cards based on birth month and day, they turned out super cute and we love them), but I also was thinking of us getting our tattoos with some connection to her all time favorite book and my all time favorite book. Problem is I have no idea how on earth we would do this. Her favorite book is House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland, mine is Fairest by Gail Carson Levine. I know we can easily do the mirror from the og cover of Fairest, but I have no idea how to incorporate House of Hollow. Any ideas and even any suggestions that are unrelated would be greatly appreciated!
