2023.06.10 00:12 WearPsychological839 Spinning reel backlash

Hi all! I recently got into fishing and decided after using a buddies for a while, it was time to get my first rod. I purchased a Lews Hank Parker spinning combo from Walmart. Along with this I purchased 8 pound 700 yards of Zebco line. After putting this on and going to the pond, every time I go to cast the reel let’s out way to much line and knots up. Any advice. All my friend told me is that “I need more weight” (after using a drop shot and sinko.

2023.06.10 00:11 MarzMalus Plume question/Quest isn't in my area

Hi, FtM trans guy here in San Angelo TX. There is no Transgender health care anything here, not even Planned Parenthood.
So, long story short, started Testosterone last year in MT while at school, left in Feb of this year for medical leave, will be returning next month, thank gods.
BUT I need a refill on Testosterone and even tho they already filled it once, my local clinic is now giving me the run around (even telling me I HAVE to see a GYN before they fill a prescription, which I have never heard of before?) and I think they are just refusing to fill it. Hell, when they did the first prescription they prescribed me "200mg weekly" when my actual prescription is ".25mg weekly" but I got extra viles so jokes on them ig.
Anyways, I got frustrated and looked online for online prescription fills and found Plume, paid for the service, using Spruce to set up and they asked about using Quest, I clicked the, Quest won't work for me, option cause Quest shows no services in my area and I have been staring at a "Oh no, we informed our team and they will get back to you soon!" for the past hour.
So... does this mean I can't use Plume bc I can't use one of their Labs? I don't mind paying for my own labs but I am ngl, I am going to be really ticked off if I just forked over $99 to get told "Oh, oops you live in a REALLY red area and we can't help you, bye!" and get ghosted.
Does anyone else who used them selected that option that Quest won't work? If so what happened/what did Plume say?

2023.06.10 00:11 jsmit842116 [24][M4F][Lafayette][Indiana] Looking for First Experience

Hi there, I’m a 24 year old guy in Lafayette Indiana area. Physically I am white, 6’1” tall, I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and I weigh about 200 lbs. I have a fairly average build (not super fit but not overweight either). Overall I live a pretty healthy lifestyle, I don’t to any drugs and I rarely drink.
Personality wise I’m a fairly reserved person and I’m often quiet when I’m around people that I don’t know. I started my first job out of college in engineering a few months ago so that takes up most of my days. Outside of work I like to listen to music, play guitar, watch baseball or play golf. I love music, mainly classic rock (The Beatles, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, ect), I also like to watch shows (Parks and Rec, Scrubs, That 70’s show, ect. I’m a bit of a nerd and I love Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and all sorts of stuff like that. The other thing I like to do in my free time is read. I love history and I really enjoy reading about it.
Moving on to my experience with relationships and such or rather my lack of experience. I have absolutely zero experience when it comes to dating, relationships, and anything sexual. When I was in highschool I never really put myself out there. Then I got into college and I’m not a college party or frat kind of person so that combined with my courseload prevented me from having any real opportunities at dating. Then right before covid hit I transferred colleges so now I appear to have do the impossible and graduated college as a virgin.
Ideally I am looking for someone in a similar situation as myself, but I’m open to people with experience as well. I’m not looking to jump right into anything or for a one time hookup or anything like that. Ideally I am looking for a fwb situation at the least and potentially a relationship. I’m open to people from the in the general Lafayette/NWI/Indianapolis area or even Chicago but I would be open to someone who is traveling if there will regularly be in the area. I am able to host and would also be willing to get a hotel room if that makes more sense. Thanks for reading this giant essay, if you have any questions for me or want to get to know each other please feel free to send me a message or pm. Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon!

2023.06.10 00:11 StorysWithinTheAI The Life of Fatima El-Masri

The Life of Fatima El-Masri
My name is Fatima El-Masri. Born on the edge of the Sahara, in the sun-drenched town of Merzouga, Morocco, I entered the world in the waning hours of March 1, 1980. The daughter of a date farmer and a Berber weaver, I was raised amidst swirling sand dunes, towering date palms, and the vibrant hues of woven carpets, each thread bearing the tales of generations.
I was taught that life, like the loom, weaves together moments of joy and sorrow, hardship and ease. My mother’s hands, hardened by years of work, would move deftly across the loom, her fingers dancing to the rhythm of our ancestors. She taught me that the threads of our lives might be fragile alone, but woven together, they become something resilient, something beautiful. This philosophy was to become the warp and weft of my existence.
My life was not untouched by hardship. A drought when I was twelve decimated our crops, pushing us into the cruel clutches of poverty. We had to depend on the meager income from my mother’s carpet-weaving, and even that was barely enough. There were nights when our stomachs growled in unison with the nocturnal creatures outside, nights when the prospect of the coming day seemed more a curse than a blessing.
But I also learned the depths to which the human spirit could rise. Our neighbors, also afflicted by the drought, would share their bread with us. I still remember the taste of those small morsels, not for their flavor, but for the love and solidarity they embodied. It's this spirit of unity and resilience that has shaped me.
When the drought ended, life took on a new color. I saw the importance of education, not just for me, but for all girls in our village. Fueled by the desire to bring about change, I managed to secure a scholarship to a university in Rabat. The culture shock was immense. I grappled with a sense of not belonging, of being out of place amidst the city's hustle and the educated elite.
It was during these testing times that I met Aziz, a fellow student and an empathetic soul. He became my rock, standing by me during my struggles and celebrating my small victories. Our friendship soon blossomed into love. We married after graduation and moved to the United States, seeking better opportunities.
In America, I faced a different set of challenges. The clash of cultures, the occasional homesickness, the struggle to establish myself in a new land. But every hurdle only reinforced my resolve. I earned a master's degree in education, and with Aziz's unwavering support, started a non-profit organization focused on providing education to girls in impoverished regions of Morocco.
I lived a full life, one threaded with hardships, triumphs, and love. I carried the essence of the Sahara within me, using my experiences as the loom upon which I wove the tapestry of my existence. The day I drew my last breath, surrounded by Aziz, our children, and a legacy of change, I knew my thread had been woven well into the fabric of life. From the Sahara to America, from a humble farmer's daughter to an advocate for girls' education, each thread told my tale—the tale of Fatima El-Masri.

2023.06.10 00:11 BayouWrangler Dear u/spez

You useless piece of shit. You absolute waste of space and air. You uneducated, ignorant, idiotic dumb swine, you’re an absolute embarrassment to humanity and all life as a whole.
The magnitude of your failure just now is so indescribably massive that one hundred years into the future your name will be used as moniker of evil for heretics. Even if all of humanity put together their collective intelligence there is no conceivable way they could have thought up a way to fuck up on the unimaginable scale you just did.
When Jesus died for our sins, he must not have seen the sacrilegious act we just witnessed you performing, because if he did he would have forsaken humanity long ago so that your birth may have never become reality.
After you die, your skeleton will be displayed in a museum after being scientifically researched so that all future generations may learn not to generate your bone structure, because every tiny detail anyone may have in common with you degrades them to a useless piece of trash and a burden to society.
No wonder your father questioned whether or not your were truly his son, for you'd have to not be a waste of carbon matter for anyone to love you like a family member.
Your birth made it so that mankind is worse off in every way you can possibly imagine, and you have made it so that society can never really recover any state of organization. Everything has forever fallen into a bewildering chaos, through which unrecognizable core, you can only find misfortune.
I would say the apocalypse is upon us but this is merely the closest word humans have for the sheer scale of horror that is now reality. You have forever condemned everyone you love and know into an eternal state of suffering, worse than any human concept of hell.
You are such an unholy being, that if you step within a one hundred foot radius of a holy place or a place that has ever been deemed important by anyone, your distorted religious soul will ruin whatever meaning it ever had beyond repair.
You are an idiotic, shiteating, dumbass ape and no one has ever loved you. You are a lying, backstabbing, cowardly useless piece of shit and I hate you with every single part of my being.
Even this world's finest writers and poets from throughout the ages could never hope to accurately describe the scale on which you just fucked up, and how incredibly idiotic you are.
Anyone that believes in any religion out there should now realize that they have been wrong this entire time, for if divine beings were real, they would never have allowed a being such as you to stain the earth and this universe.
In the future there will be horror stories made about you, with the scariest part of them being that the reader has to realize that such an indescribable monster actually exists, and that the horrific events from the movie have actually taken place in the same world that they live in right now.
You are the absolute embodiment of everything that has ever been wrong on this earth, yet even that would only represent a small part of your evil. Never in the history of mankind has there been anyone that could have predicted such an abomination, but here you are.
It’s hard to believe that I am seeing such an incredible failure with my own eyes, but here I am, so unfortunately I cannot deny your existence. Even if I did my very best, my vocabulary is not able to describe the sheer magnitude of the idiotic mistake that is you.
Even if time travel some day will be invented, there still would not be a single soul willing to go back in time to this moment to fix history, because having to witness such incredible horrors would have too many mental and physical drawbacks that not even the bravest soul in history would be willing to risk it.
I cannot imagine the pure dread your mother must have felt when she had to carry a baby for nine months and then giving birth to such a wretched monster as you. Not a single word of the incoherent, illogical rambling you may be wanting to do to defend yourself or apologize would ever be able to make up for what you just did.
The countries of the world would have wanted to make laws preventing such a terrible event like this from ever happening again, but sadly this is not possible since your horrific actions just now have shattered every form of order this world once had, making concepts such as laws irrelevant.
Right from the moment I first set my eyes on you I knew you were an absolute abomination of everything that is wrong with humanity. I was hoping I would have been able to prevent your evil from being released upon this world by tagging along and keeping my eye on you, but it is clear to me now that not even the greatest efforts would have been able to prevent a terrible event in this scale from occurring.

2023.06.10 00:10 kcobra12 On Slaying Rezakiris

Rezakiris are some of the deadliest Behemoths in the Shattered Isles. Fittingly, some of the best (and best looking) gear in the game comes from them. However, most Slayers will find them tough at first, so here’s some tips I’ve learned while gathering materials to make the Godhand and the Prismatic Grace.
Rezakiri Attacks.
First up, the attacks. They’re mostly projectile based, and as such, players should pack the Artificer Omnicell for the shield. The Skarn’s Defiance lantern is also helpful for tanking the hits, and trust me, you WILL take some. None of these attacks are the official names, but they make sense anyway. The attacks listed below are brief descriptions of the attack, with how much relative damage they deal and how difficult it is to dodge them listed below the name, along with how often they occur. The values are applied before factoring in Omnicells and lanterns.
Attack 1: Starfly Barrage
Damage: 6/10
Dodge Difficulty: 6/10
Frequency: 7/10
This attack is signified when the Rezakiri moves away from you and hovers just above the ground while exposing its chest. It follows by creating dozens of the little Valomyr orb things, a.k.a. Starflies, and launching them at you. The difficulty comes when you dodge into another one by accident. The easiest way to counter this is by using the Omnicell directly in front of you to block the projectiles. The Rezakiri then follows this by hovering close to the ground for a short time, letting you get plenty of hits in. Experienced Slayers will want to save the Omnicell to apply it to their desired part for the 15% damage bonus.
Attack 2: Prismatic Blender
Damage: 6/10
Dodge Difficulty: 3/10
Frequency: 8/10
This attack is telegraphed by the Rezakiri flying up into the air and a “charging up” noise. The Behemoth then fires four beams of light straight at the ground that rapidly revolve and expand. The easiest way to dodge it, I’ve found, is to stand slightly off to the side of where the Rezakiri’s main body was when it took off, then dodging into the cage of light it makes when it widens slightly. The creature follows up by screaming and slamming into the ground when it finishes, catching unaware Slayers off guard. This is trivial to dodge, as long as you begin your dodge about 75% of the way through its scream. Be warned, the Artificer shield WILL NOT block the beams. It says it should, but in my personal experience, it does not.
Attack 3: Slicing Strafe
Damage: 7/10
Dodge Difficulty: 5/10
Frequency: 6/10
The Rezakiri pulls back before diving low and slashing twice with its clawed forelimbs. This is easy to dodge, but the tail’s hitbox becomes active when it finishes the charge, so go off to the side instead of directly through it.
Attack 4: Tail Swipe
Damage: 7/10
Dodge Difficulty: 5/10
Frequency: 5/10
The Rezakiri pulls back slightly, before doing a full 360 with its tail and then some. It can still hit you for about another 20 degrees after it finishes the first spin, so don’t let it fool you. Dodge straight through the tail for an easy evade.
Attack 5: Ground Slam
Damage: 5/10
Dodge Difficulty: 6/10
Frequency: 7/10
Literally the slam it does after finishing the Prismatic Blender attack, minus the blender bit and a slightly shorter attack window. Same rules apply.
Attack 6: Starfly Bombardment
Damage: 8/10
Dodge Difficulty: 3/10
Frequency: 4/10
This attack is telegraphed when it pulls back and flies up into the air before making the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ pose and summoning a lot of Starflies next to it. Funnily enough, it almost never fires these directly in front of it, so standing there will grant you best results. It can fire them almost straight down though, so don’t think getting close will save you.
Attack 7: Radiant Airstrike
Damage: 8/10
Dodge Difficulty: 10/10
Frequency: 8/10
The Rezakiri makes a short dash at you before dropping several exploding radiant orbs that are annoying to dodge. They don’t all hit at once, the Artificer Omnicell doesn’t work from above, and they deal impact damage on hit and explosion damage in a deceptively wide area around them. For best results, once you see it begin the lunge, dodge either left or right and hope it misses.
Attack 8: Prismatic Cleaver
Damage: 7/10
Dodge Difficulty: 4/10
Frequency: 9/10
The Rezakiri pulls back and aims its tail at you before unloading a rapid-fire burst of vertical lasers in a fan pattern. They hit hard but are slow and easy to dodge by running horizontally, or by simply dodging through them and then chilling, as they change direction and go back the way they came after a while. The Artificer works inconsistently against the beams. Sometimes, it follows up with a ground slam.
Attack 10: Aetherslam
Damage: 5/10
Dodge Difficulty: 6/10
Frequency: 3/10
It’s a ground slam, but it aether-charges it. Not much else to be said.
Attack 11: Enrage Slam
Damage: 5/10
Dodge Difficulty: 6/10
Frequency: 3/10
See Attack 10, but ANGERY.
Attack 12: Prismatic Shredder
Damage: 6/10
Dodge Difficulty: 4/10
Frequency: 4/10
This attack only occurs when it’s enraged. It pulls up and readies what appears to be its Prismatic Blender but unleashes six beams instead of four that sometimes switch direction. If it’s aether-charged, it reverses the beams and sends them back into the circle. This can be dodged by waiting until they’re close, then dodging out of the circle.
Attack 13: Prismatic Mincer
Damage: 7/10
Dodge Difficulty: 5/10
Frequency: 4/10
The Rezakiri, when aether-charged, readies its Cleaver, but instead unleashes a fan of beams that start wide from both sides and narrow down. Waiting until the last possible instant to dodge through the beams helps avoid ending your dodge inside the beam.
Attack 13: Thunderdome Slam
The Rezakiri executes its ground slam, but teleports players around if aether-charged and, when enraged, traps players inside radiant domes. These bend light from the outside, leaving players open for attacks. The domes can’t be dodged, and sometimes it’s beneficial to actually get hit by the slam, as the knockback can launch you out of the dome spawn.
Damage: 5/10
Dodge Difficulty: 5/10
Frequency: 3/10
Attack 14: Rain of Terror
Damage: 9/10
Dodge Difficulty: 9/10
Frequency: 2/10
The Rezakiri pulls back, readies Starfly Bombardment, and executes it, only this time there’s a lot more Starflies and it executes Starfly Barrage as well. Use the Artificer shield. Thank me later.
Attack 15: Radiant Obliterator
Damage: 8/10
Dodge Difficulty: 1/10
Frequency: 3/10
The Rezakiri executes Prismatic Cleaver and Starfly Barrage in rapid succession. Dodge by simply getting behind it.
Part Tips
Rezakiris have a total of five parts you can knock off of them. Two Exoskeletal Plates, one Lustrous Tailplate, one Radiant Aethergem, and one Cracked Biocrystal. By far the most difficult of these to get are the Exoskeletal Plates. They have a lot of health and are unreachable most of the time. Lustrous Tailplates take a while to get as well but are made easier by the fact that they are almost always reachable. The Cracked Biocrystal is easier to get, as it has low health, and the Aethergem is basically a free stun. To maximize part gathering, smack the tail until it reaches half health, focusing on the legs and head whenever you can, then focus exclusively on the head and legs until you get the Biocrystal and the Exoskeletal Plates. Afterwards, break the tailplate, and then go for the Aethergem. You usually won’t have to go for specifically Aethergems at any point, as they have such low health that they’re often broken on accident. The Plates drop from the front claws (the bladed ones) and the Biocrystal drops from the head. If you must, hunt alone to maximize freedom, as Slayers on Razorcliff Isle will often kill the thing before you get the parts you need. I’ve found that the Paradox Breaks are much easier to gather on, as many Slayers there will either not bother you, or they’ll help you out. Flameborn Rezakiris are also easier to hunt thanks to their lack of radiant attacks. Their fire debuffs can be nullified with Molten Hearts, and one of their moves is just moving toward you. Imagine the Radiant Airstrike without the Airstrike part. They literally just dash in your direction.
Weapon Tips
When I hunt Rezakiris, I run War Pikes. The mortar rounds can deal heavy damage to single parts, which is made easy by its tendency to splay out when attacking. Harvesting attacks are the best to use against them, as they don’t have enough overall HP to justify attempting a wound in multiplayer. When I was working toward the two exotics, I went for the Godhand first, as it would make hunting Shrowds easier. At first, I ran full Valomyr armor and a Riftstalker pike, then graduated to a Shrowd pike after I made the Godhand. However, getting full Glyph Weaver gear makes the fight much easier, and the Alyra battles aren’t difficult, especially when there’s a small army of Slayers there, repeatedly activating the Paradoxicon. The Godhand should be obtained first, as the Prismatic Grace and Light armor gives no major combat bonuses. However, a Shrowd pike definitely does.
Omnicell Notes
Observant players will notice I recommended the Artificer Omnicell, which requires Rezakiri reagents to make in the first place. To get this, I recommend hunting Flameborn Rezakiris. They’re almost the same, but they shoot slower, their debuffs can be negated, and they don’t have the annoying Radiant Airstrike attack. Overall, I think they look amazing, and they’re much easier than normal Rezakiris.
Why Rezakiris?
First off, even if you don’t want the set, it looks awesome as a transmog. One of my favorite things to do is show up to an island like Restless Sands or Iron Falls in full Rezakiri with the Prismatic Grace and the Godhand or join a low-tier Radiant Escalation. The psychological effects of seeing someone with what looks like a futuristic battle suit and a laser cannon join the fray are something interesting. I’ll be watching a Firebrand Charrogg or a Nayzaga absolutely clowning on a group of Slayers, but when I drop in, they suddenly become a lot better. I also enjoy asking if anyone needs help hunting a specific Behemoth, and then assisting them. Additionally, the Godhand is great for Umbral Escalations or hunting Shrowds. Fun fact: the 100% damage bonus the Tragic Echo’s shadow clone has stacks with the 200% damage multiplier of a fully charged Godhand beam. And, if my math is right, the bonuses are applied one after the other, so you get more like 400% damage. Also, the Prismatic Grace is a must-have for anyone running a medic build.
Final Notes
These are just my opinions and should not be used as a hard set of rules. I’ll greatly appreciate feedback and suggestions on how this guide could be made better. What Behemoth should I provide tips about next? Let me know in the comments.

2023.06.10 00:10 grumpcrumb Question

I noticed that my son has paternal underneath his name. His bio father is not involved in his life or on ancestry. Do they imply that he belongs to the paternal side of my family? Or his. Sorry if it's a stupid question but it's got me confused.

2023.06.10 00:10 Throwaway298720 Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) employees....

Hi yall,
Any DCC employees that live in southern California- Inland Empire / LA County area? I'm interested in applying to a position that says telework, Wondering if there are any opportunities on this side of town or if it's basically all up in Sacramento...
I see a JC which says telework option, and when I wrote the jc rep they mentioned I'd have to ask that question during interview, if I was chosen. My thing is... I'd have to spend several hours doing my resume, soq, and then do my interview just to ask "is there telework?" Lol... so it's a little frustrating...
I understand that regardless they can decide to come in to office and I'd be SOL, however, just curious what folks have to say in regards to this question.

2023.06.10 00:10 jayelana Debt Collection Assistance

Hi All,
I got a call today from General Credit Services about a ticket I received 11 years ago (2012) with my local municipality.
I do recall this being sent to a different collections agency 5-6 years back, and paying.
Issue is.. I did not care to keep any of the paperwork.
How can I check the legitimacy of this debt, and or check historical collection hits on my credit?
Any and all advice would help.

2023.06.10 00:10 wallflowerek Can you help me translate this sentence to Russian?

Hi there! I have a problem with the particle “ли”, I haven’t learn this at university yet, so I have no idea if I can even use it in this particular sentence. I’d be grateful if you could help me choose the right translation! So the sentence is: When I book a room in a hotel, I always ask if beach is pebbly or sandy. Please tell which version is the closest to be correct (cause i have a feeling that neither is completely correct) and help me fix it. A. Когда я бронирую номер в отеле, я всегда спрашиваю есть ли пляж галечный или песчаный. - Sorry if this translation makes no sense, I’m actually translating it from Polish to Russian and my native language complicates things. B. Когда я бронирую номер в отеле, я всегда спрашиваю - пляж галечный или песчаный.
Your answer can be entirely in Russian, I understand it pretty well, but I still muster up the courage to start using it. Hopefully my next post here will be in Russian!)

2023.06.10 00:09 petalesdejuin Ong’s road, pine barrens

Hi 👋🏻
Has anyone been to ong’s road in the pine barrens? my partner & i just went to explore it and the trail is miles long ( as anticipated ) there is supposedly on some part on the trail a portal to another dimension 👽 and the town that was once there has been completely abandoned.
We didn’t get that far down unfortunately because we weren’t sure if we were going the right way but I’m just wondering if anyone’s been and if so, did you get to the point where the portal is suppose to be? ( very deep into the woods on the trail ) and what else is around?
Here’s a weird NJ article about it

2023.06.10 00:09 kkazookid Public Safety at Conventions

My name is Angel and I have been in this fandom for nearly 6 years now. I have made some amazing friends and a large portion of my life is surrounded by the fandom.
Over the years however I have had to deal with plenty of hate from people online and some accounts of harassment in public while suiting (both physical and verbal).
This got me thinking. How far is someone willing to go to show that they hate this fandom and the people in it?
In more recent years there is been numerous attacks on LGBT establishments and groups and my worry is since there is a very strong link between the LGBT community and the fandom, I worry that it’s only a matter of time before a radical person wants to become a martyr in the name of hate for the fandom and LGBT.
—-My question is would you feel safer knowing that a furry at a convention might be carrying a firearm just in case something bad where to happen?—-
Please keep comments respectful

2023.06.10 00:09 dontwannadoxxmyself Tarsal tunnel syndrome?

I struggled with what I thought was plantar fasciitis for 2 years. I’ve done all the standard therapies, injections, ice, splints, exercises etc and nothing has helped. My PT thinks it is bad tendinitis because i overpronate my foot. I have bad pain in my posterior tibial tendon, my FHL tendon and along the arch of my foot up to the big toe joint. I went to a new podiatrist and he is convinced I have tarsal tunnel syndrome and he wants to do surgery. But my pain has never felt like nerve pain. It’s not pins and needles, my foot doesn’t get numb or have “electric shock” feelings. It just hurts and the tendons are all very sore to touch. Has anyone had TTS? and is it always a nerve pain? Or is it possible that TTS can mimic tendinitis pain? Oral steroids help for a while but the pain comes back as soon as I stop taking them. The podiatrist is very convinced that he can fix it I’m just very nervous because I’ve had 2 years of hell and I don’t trust podiatrists anymore. My MRI showed nothing and I’m waiting to get an EMG. Thank you if anyone has any experience with this, it’s honestly ruining my life!!!

2023.06.10 00:09 RedDogue Will there be any issues with setting up a personal Instagram to post my grooms?

Ive been toying around with the idea of setting up a personal Instagram to post my grooms and maybe expand my clientele. I understand most photo policies (hands on pet always, correct loop placement, etc.),and not revealing sensitive information like last names but is there any direct policy I should know of about setting up a Instagram for work?
Brownie points if you have a personal Instagram for your grooms. I'd love some inspiration!

2023.06.10 00:09 EnterLameNameHere When to start an LLC?

Hi, new here. On mobile. I was curious, I make soap and would like to start selling. For now, I have just been gifting and once, someone insisted on paying me so I charged something very small, pretty much a tip. I want to make a page for my soaps but want to know when I should even pay to be an LLC? I asked one person and they said I dont need it because I’m probably not even making $10k/yr. Should I wait until I make that much? I just want to protect myself is mainly why I want the LLC, but would love to hear suggestions.

2023.06.10 00:09 Obversa Did the Narragansett Pacer horse breed really go extinct, or did it simply become a subtype within the Morgan breed?

This is a follow-up from my previous inquiry about the Narragansett Pacer horse breed, which is generally considered to be extinct, here. The Pacer is considered a progenitor of several modern-day American horse breeds, including the Morgan, the American Saddlebred, the Tennessee Walking Horse, the Standardbred, the Missouri Fox Trotter, and various other ambling and gaited breeds.
However, after doing more research, it appears that the most documentation I've been able to find of Narragansett Pacer influence has been in the Morgan breed, which served as an intermediary period, as Justin Morgan (Figure) was documented to have covered at least three Pacer mares. The offspring were then recorded and registered as Morgan Horses with the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA). While trotters were favored over pacers, 10-20% of Morgan horses today are gaited.
The founder of the Tennessee Walking Horse breed, Black Allan (1886 – 1910), also inherited his ambling ability from his dam, a Morgan/Thoroughbred cross mare named Maggie Marshall.
In addition to 10-20% of Morgan horses today being gaited, there is also a commonality of chestnut coat color, which was also likely inherited from Narragansett Pacer ancestors. This has me wondering: Did the Pacer truly go extinct, or was it just subsumed into (or lumped in with) the Morgan breed, thus becoming a subtype of the Morgan breed due to Justin Morgan (Figure)'s influence?
A lot of other descriptions of the Narragansett Pacer also match the modern-day Morgan horse:
I'm also curious to know what marks a breed as "extinct". Is the Narragansett Pacer considered "extinct" because no non-Morgan and non-Thoroughbred bloodlines exist anymore (i.e. extinction of foundation lines)? Or is it considered "extinct" because it was subsumed into the Morgan breed?
If the latter is the case, then technically speaking, the Narragansett Pacer never went extinct; it just transitioned into being a subtype of the Morgan breed (i.e. 10-20% of gaited Morgans).

2023.06.10 00:09 Tukangsepatu Transformer Rise of the Beast -Where to Watch-

Hi everyone, I want to take my kids to watch the above. Is there any Cinema in English for it?
We prefer to watch it in English, as our German skills are still too crappy to understand the dialogues.
Thank you very much, and appreciate any feedbacks.

2023.06.10 00:08 pantherpickles FI to EF? [ON]

Hi all,
I’m looking for some advice. I’ve been teaching French Immersion for the last three years. Recently, a position in one of my preferred schools opened up, but it is for an Extended French job. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience switching from FI to EF? I have never taught EF, and any insight would be greatly appreciated!

2023.06.10 00:08 WhatThe-F-IsUpKyle the usual gender struggle

hi i‘m JJ, 21 y/o, afab, i‘ve been struggling with my gender for a few years now. I really don‘t know what to label myself as. I mean i kinda like my body, but when i put certain outfits on and i wanna wear a bra with them, i feel so ugly, like i don‘t like the way i look with it, i hate how my chest looks. Don‘t get me wrong, my b00bs aren‘t even big, but every time i wear a shirt, where you need a bra, i get angry and frustrated, because as soon as my b00bs look a little bigger i hate them, but when i wear a big shirt, in which they aren‘t visible, i feel so confident. It‘s so weird.
Another thing is that i hate being called a woman or lady or girl. But one time a friend accidentally called me a man and i just smiled and even thinking about it makes me happy.
But i don‘t want to really change my body. I don‘t know. I don‘t even make sense to myself. So if this doesn’t make sense to anyone then that‘s fine.
I tried labeling myself as genderfluid for some time but i don‘t think that really aligns with what i feel and now i‘m just sitting here, contemplating about my gender….again.
I need help, pls :)
