New pool owner here. Had the pool professionally opened two weeks ago. Noticed today that two of the 4 jets aren’t working.
Also the SWG panel says No Flow and when I tested the chlorine it says I have none. CYA is 33, pH 7.8.
Hoping not to have a disaster here shortly.

Has anyone here had to stop Wegovy and start up again? I will be taking my last dose on Monday of 1.0. Due to the shortage I can longer continue. I was able to get 1.7 (just by luck) but I know my body is not ready for that dose so I am choosing to stop in hopes I can start again in the Fall when they anticipate more meds in stock. I'm just curious if i will still feel the effects of it on my appetite for a while after stopping? I'm not super hopeful but I thought I had read someplace that it takes a few weeks to completety leave your system. I could be totally wrong though! Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I have both Uworld and blueprint. I am doing a course in blueprint that ends two weeks before my exam date, 7/28. I noticed that the course required me to study at least 5 hours per day. I was wondering whether it is realistic to have time left over to do Uworld and finish the question banks. Or is it fair to drop blueprint and use it only for AAMC FL and just focus on Uworld?

First time posting, looking for some insight on how others manage their text/email/DM overwhelm.
I have 89 unread texts for the second time this week. I want to scream. For context, I wfh and my job is emotionally draining (opioid epidemic work, similar to social work). I force myself to keep up with work emails and the social media accounts I manage, but still struggle deeply. When it comes to my personal accounts, I am always behind and stressing over it. It will take me weeks to get back to people, leaving them feeling neglected or ignored, impacting my relationships.
I want to talk to my long distance and close friends, colleagues, family. No ability to predict my social capacity or consistent social battery, extreme demand avoidance and chronic fatigue are just a few barriers in my way. I’m sending and receiving 1,200+ texts a week and it’s just not sustainable. I feel burnt out and resentful. I wish i could automate all digital correspondence. I truly hate how much of my time it eats up, how available I am expected to be 24/7. What can I do to reduce the number of people I text/DM regularly?

A family member of mine (T) doesn't have custody of her child (H). The other day H broke down at school and told the staff her father (B) was beating her with various objects (belts, hangars, etc etc).
T called the school, found out B had put down some random lady and number as H's mother so she wasn't called about it. T got in contact with the case worker (X), and explained that he can't talk to H at home specifically because she's afraid of B. This is the second time X has been to check out H, and has been told this both times. Both times he chooses to talk to her at home in the same room as B. H is now telling us that before X showed up B specifically told her he'd be listening and checking cameras, and if she said anything she knew she shouldn't he would beat her as soon as X left. And that when X got there he knew some of the dogs and family members by name.
There's been an extensive history of other issues as well. She's complained to us about only being allowed to eat one time a day. This year the school district wouldn't let her go to school across town anymore so she could take the bus, since they got sick of having to call grandma several times a week when B wouldn't show up for hours to pick her up. On multiple occasions she'll end up staying here for a couple weeks because he just disappears during her visits. Have also found out he does this with members of his own family.
I found a 24/7 hotline for CPS in NY. Is there any way we can contact them and have them send someone down while she's here or at school specifically? And can we request a different case worker? X seems familiar with B, and I'm afraid that he's specifically handling things in this way and won't do what he should because of this familiarity

I'm 7 weeks and haven't been taking vitamin D. I'm in the UK so it's not like I'm getting it from sun exposure. I know folic acid was meant to be taken before getting pregnant but how bad is it for me to only start taking vit D now? I was never told this guidance when I was pregnant with my first.

I’m an 11 handicap who mostly plays on the weekends with friends and in 3-4 scrambles per year. Been keeping a handicap cause I have intentions to play league (one of these days..) and for the random chance I get invited to play in a tournament/event that requires a handicap.
Well the random tournament invite happened and next weekend I’m playing in a two day, 2 Man Best Ball tournament at a course I’ve never played, at 5,000 ft elevation (I live at 2,700 ft).. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention my partner is a 1 HC so I’m certain we’ll be in the top/championship flight and my HC will be adjusted to 7 or maybe 8.
It’s still a week away and I’m already feeling nervous - any tips, suggestions, dos, don’t dos, etc?

Recently brought in a stray, he’s about 6 months old and 6 pounds. He got neutered/ vaccinated. About a week after, he began having some blood in his stool. Monitered him for about a week and brought him into the vet today. Vet said he’s not too concerned about the bleeding, but that he’s running a low grade fever and was prescribed Meloxidyl 1.5 MG/ML, 7 pound dose orally, every day until he’s feeling better. I took a look at the box when I got home and it says for dogs only. From what I read online, it seems he should be taking a smaller dose. Any insight on this?

SPIDER-MAN (BIG TIME)
After losing his job as a photographer, Peter Parker took on a new role as a research scientist and engineer at Horizon Labs. There, he developed a new Spider-Man suit with upgraded tech, including a green camo mode that made him invisible to visual and audio means and a red anti-sound mode. Spider-Man utilized the updated suit to defeat the Hobgoblin and a new villain named Massacre, who was terrorizing the city.
Spider-Man (Big Time) swings onto the new Infestation team as a big-time Controller with high Health and Focus stats. He's the lynchpin of the team and is extremely powerful on War Defense. When he's with his full Infestation team, Spider-Man (Big Time) gains a Charged, which grants his Ultimate Ability a myriad of battle-changing effects, including applying 2 turns of Disrupted, Trauma, and Blind to all enemies, along with flipping all of their positive effects and stealing up to 2 Ability Energy.

Hi personalfinance, here because I guess my parents and education taught me nothing about finances and I desperately need more informed input. I (24F) am a non-traditional medical school applicant, first-generation college student, and am missing four undergraduate courses because I didn't know I wanted to be a doctor until my gap year after undergrad. I make about 2.5K a month as a part-time personal trainer while also juggling Medical Assistant school (which I got all 4K of it paid for through a grant program) and have 1K in a high-yield savings account (Ally). I also use Acorns for my Roth IRA (sitting at $900) and Investment Portfolio (sitting at $950) (just spare change accumulating- contributing only $10 a week to each) but if I should reconsider doing this, I did it to feel better about contributing to my financial future with the realization that having no adult job and being a student it's quite difficult. I also do side jobs and make an additional ~$500/mo. My monthly expenses:
car insurance: $198
rent/utilites: $950 (I have a roommate and just live in an expensive city, I regret this, but my lease isn't up until Feb 2024)
groceries: $480 - I 90% of the time eat at home bc my roommate and I meal prep, rarely eat out and if I do, partner often covers it as he understands my situation and he's financially very secure with a fantastic 200K job :')
personal things/gas/oil change/randoms: $300-ish (yoga classes, car maintenance just little things that add up)
My dilemma: I need to go back to take a few undergrad classes, but just found out an advisor did NOT TELL ME that a non-degree seeker like myself would not qualify for Federal Loans (for which I qualify, need-based) to pay for my tuition of 4K that I JUST PAID. I only have 7.5K in loans from undergrad, no interest, that I don't need to make payments on until later this year because I was able to work my ass off for scholarships, etc. I have no credit card debt, as I pay it off each month. My options are third-party loans (terrified of these APR%) or to withdraw from all of my classes to receive a portion of that money back and basically regroup. Y'all, I'm having breakdowns about this, and just so bummed that I was led here with no support and under false pretenses. Any guidance or thoughts/comments would be so appreciated on how I can remedy this unfortunate potential loss of 4K that I literally do NOT have.
P.S. any financial guidance on how to prepare for medical school applications (multiple thousands in investment *cries*) and also taking out massive loans for med school are welcome, as it's in my future and I have zero people in my life to help me understand what steps I need to be taking to set myself up for success.
