As the title suggests I only witnessed a session, I didn’t play with it or want to, I was too scared.
I was in 5th grade, making me 10 years old and it was a rainy day at my school so my class had to play indoors.
My classmates were impressionable troublemakers, not me I was a quiet kid who got bullied and ostracized by them.
There was this one troublemaker kid who annoyed my teacher the most, his name was James. She sort of deserved that though, that teacher was a bitch.
That same rainy day we had the whole day off basically because our teacher was in the middle of a divorce and could give two shits about teaching 10 year olds.
So we sat around all bored playing board games when James had the idea of creating a ouija board from paper and all my classmates got excited and began making one. My other classmates teased me for being scared of it.
They were pretty loud about the whole ouija board thing and I looked over to my teacher to put a stop to this, and she was just typing furiously on the computer ignoring us.
So my classmates started playing with it, using an empty plastic cup as a guide on their paper ouija board, they were asking dumb questions and laughing loud.
I was scared but forgot about it. That same night or the other day after I was sitting in my parent’s bedroom watching creepy ghost videos when I saw a woman.
The woman had black holes where her eyes should’ve been, she had a Victorian night gown on, her hair was just under her shoulders and her feet were almost like blurred gray.
I got scared and started following her as she was floating backwards and she disappeared into my brother’s bedroom (it was night). I’ve never seen the ghost since.

I am searching for a good PC Monitor. Main purpose is watching KPOP Videos (most of the time Girlgroups especially the band "Lesserafim"). Occasionally I also play games like Warcraft III.

Besides that I am not sure which of the following properties are the most important and the correct choice:
- 4k or wqhd?
- OLED or IPS Panel?
- Refreshrate is not important, isn't it? Lesserafim have some blazing fast dance moves but I think 60Hz are sufficent.
- Does HDR makes it more realistic?

Currently, I have a b450 tomahawk non max, 3600, and 2080 super. I run 1440p at 144hz and was also thinking of pushing higher frames with a new monitor. 16gb of ram.
My PC has been struggling lately to stream and game even with NVENC set 936p resolution and so my only conclusion is to upgrade the system to do both on one PC.
I could possibly convert my current PC to a stream PC (i guess)
I was thinking if the following build, but wanted others thoughts from a cost perspective. afaik having NVIDIA is pretty important for my workstation stuff like cutting together video for my content.
Was thinking of the following.
7800x3d 32gb ram Rtx 4080
Alternatively (I think but am not sure) my non max tomahawk might work with a 5800x3d but my confidence level on this is low also all components are 5 years old now and my water cooler is currently 7 years old😳
Another option is to roll with a 4070ti
Money isn’t a huge issue for me. What do you all recommend? I probably want to stick around $2500 max budget. I already have NVME storage, copy of windows, monitors , all that jazz. Probably need a PSU that’s also 7 years old.

The sheet includes the following columns:
the gender of the trans character(s), grouped broadly into male/masc, female/femme, and nonbinary;
the character’s prominence as a main, secondary/ensemble, or side character;
their sexual/romantic orientation if known;
the marketed audience of the book (children, YA/teens, or adults);
and the genre of the book, though only speculative fiction and nonfiction are labeled so far.
I originally started this list with speculative fiction only (see here for my last post), which is why spec fic is one of the only genres labeled. I’m still deciding exactly what exact genre labels I would want to include if/when I add more genres.
I know it can be tough to browse a list of 1500+ titles, so I’m happy to give my personal recommendations if anybody has requests for specific genres, topics, etc. I’m considering ways to make it easier to browse and am open to suggestions on that.
Disclaimer: I have obviously NOT read every book on the list, so my information is mostly sourced from summaries/reviews and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The setting is a high magic homebrewed world, namely centred around the conflict between mages, non mages and people of a more pious nature that takes place in a plane of existence whose god has abandoned them. The Town layouts in this game leave a bit to be desired. Having to run all across town, with some being quite large, is a bit of a pain when I've done a run or two of Dungeons and want to unload my Sell/Salvage items. If I use my Town Portal it seems to bring me to the main city in that Act (?), but I propose a change:
Let me choose a Home Town, where my Town Portal always takes me.
Cerrigar has an incredibly small radius comparatively to the other cities to run around and do your town errands. Minus being in them for the initial campaign story, I absolutely hate having to use the other towns as my Sell/Salvage vendors. I have to run all over, sometimes at varying heights/levels, to use different vendors and it just makes me feel like I'm wasting a lot of time in transit. Using a Mount helps, but the towns that varying heights means it just runs into edges of items and corners a lot. Instead of bandaid fixing having to run all over, let us choose which town we like the best.

Hello, i have found an old HTC Hero and i was wondering if i can still do anything with it like play music or old games. the music files work, but uploading APK files onto the micro sd doesnt. I also tried using ADB but that didnt work either(but i dont really understand how that works anyway) Does anyone know how to help me? or should i just give up since its an ancient phone.

How did you start a co-op and how did you gather members? I'm thinking about starting my own, because I notice that every co-op I join has no communication between members, almost no one participates in the regatta (most of them only do one task each week), etc. I don't know if it's a good idea to do it, because it will probably fail and I will also lose my place in my current co-op, but I still wanna know how to make it work in case I decide to do it between regattas. Also, what are the pros and cons of running your own co-op and how to manage it to make it work for all members and still make it feel like players don't feel obligated to spend too much time on the game (I saw that a lot of co-ops require a lot of regatta tasks completed in a day, but I feel like I don't want other people who would join my co-op to feel like playing the game is a chore instead of a calming activity). Any tips and advice would be appreciated, but mostly, I just wanna know how to start it up and if it's even worth it.

Hey everyone, I have a USB condenser mic (I know, I know), and am having an annoying thing happen whenever I'm trying to record audio in my DAW (Cakewalk). What happens is, when I hit either 'record' or 'play', there's a HUGE delay before the audio actually starts (like, up to 5 seconds). However, the playhead starts moving right after I click. So, the tracks are all in alignment once it starts, the playhead is just 3 - 5 seconds ahead of the actual audio. Here's a video clip I captured to show you.
It doesn't happen every time; I'd say like 80% of the time. The other 20%, it works perfectly. I tried using my laptop's built in microphone, and only had the issue about 5% of the time.
I'm guessing this is latency-related, it just sounds different than most of the latency cases I've read about, which usually involve the tracks being out of alignment and the delay only being a fraction of a second.
I tried using the ASIO driver (I've seen that suggested elsewhere), but that resulted in no playback whatsoever and my devices not being listed in the preferences menu.
My only theory based on my research is that Cakewalk has some kind of built-in delay compensation, which is why the tracks are still in alignment.
I can ultimately still do what I need to do, it's just annoying more than anything, and throws off my internal rhythm when I'm about to record.
Can anyone help me determine the issue, and more importantly, if there's a solution? Or should I just go ahead and buy an interface + new mic?

Hello everyone, I just bought this new gaming laptop that is the Gigabyte G5 MF of 2023, it has a:
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H 2.50 GHz,
RTX 4050 6gb 75w TGP
16GB of RAM
and PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2280 512GB
BIOS FB03 (Latest BIOS update)
I installed couple of games like GTA IV (runs perfectly), GTA V (runs almost perfectly but there are some massive stutter after 2 min of playing), NFS Unbound (idk whats up with that one, after only 10 sec it starts stuttering like crazy and I when i activate Frame Gen it slows the game even more...).
People say that they had same issues with older g5 models and they updated their BIOS which fixed their issue, but for me there's only 2 BIOS updates available and they're the same version...

So what do I do because there's LITERALLY NOBODY on earth that seems to have the G5 MF 2023 with the same problem (i didnt see any threads about that whatsoever).

He has one of the best/most fun guards in MMA, but what is his sport game off his back like? He can't be in MMA mode in every training session can he?

So as I'm getting older, I have sort of become bored with Mortal Kombat. The excessive violence is no longer cool or interesting to me, fatalities are basically just end-game cutscenes, and the mechanics just don't interest me a whole lot anymore. That being said, I am sort of hopeful for the new one. Here are some things I am hoping for from a casual perspective:
- Please make fatalities baked into the combat instead of just a cutscene at the end. Make them more in line with how brutalities work. Maybe make them like an "ultra combo finisher" type thing. I know I'm not the first person to ask for this, but I think it would actually make the violence sort of impactful again while makingthe fights faster. I think this would also retain a lot of players. We all know that people only play for the first 3 weeks while they show their friends the new fatalities and then drop off. If fatalities actually have gameplay implications (aside from grinding for the krypt), it might make them stay longer since fatalities will be rarer and harder to achieive. I realize that this probably won't happen, as this is fundamentally different compared to how fatalities have historically worked. I also realize that brutalities seem to be NRS way to incorporate finishers in this way, but I think they should do the same with fatalities.
- Please do something different with singeplayer. The classic story mode aka fight 4 battles in between cutscenes is incredibly tired at this point, especially because for whatever reason Mortal Kombat stories have taken themselves way too seriously to the point where they are mind-numbingly dull and stupid. I really like SF6's approach here, and while I know it's not perfect, it at least feels like an innovation instead of just watching a movie with fights in between.
- Make the animations better. This goes without saying, and based on the new trailer it seems the animations are a bit better, so I'm hopeful here.
- Simplify the crypt and unlockables. The crypt from Mk11 felt like a timewaster, and while some of the puzzles were okay, it ultimately felt like a waste of time.
Mortal Kombat is a series that sells incredibly well, but I can't help but think that it's time to move past the tired approach to fatalities, story, and unlockables.
